Mausmi's shark like pearl whites gleamed in the oppressive sunlight. The sun would allow no one to still it's thunder. No.

Not a single cloud objected to this fact as the sky was a vivid blue lonesome blue.

She wore her usual light brown track jacket, zipped halfway, gray form-fitting pants fell just above her ankles, and upon her back a ninjato. Masumi sized her opponent down on the other end of the bridge as a quiet gust passed by.

Blond windswept hair rolled across the girls cheeks, her body was poised and ready for action. She didn't blink nor flinch for when he made his first move Masumi would react in turn.

"How about we start this, kay?"

Masumi would say as her smile stretched into a grin, a full display of her sharp teeth in view.

The sun's golden brilliance spun threads of lights, birthing comfortable temperatures over the surrounding area. A dead ringer stepped forth with two prominent kunai in each hand, one of which bore a white tail as the other screamed with heart, heat and soul. A reflexive hand reached upward, removing the fashionable glasses that always seemed bound to her eyes, tossing them to the side. Feet shoulder length apart, knees slightly bent, one kunai held readily at her stomach and the other alighted with her jaw line. Eyer bright purple eyes glanced over her opponents form, canvassing every physical feature about her that laid out in the open.

The better moment of a full second came to pass as Taki shot forth with a precipitous, headlong sprint, closing in on her opponent by 5 yards (now at 10). Her left wrist flicked as Taki abruptly stopped, relinquishing the tailed kunai from her palm; its trajectory would carry it 3 yards behind Taki's opponent should she dodge. Not but a second behind had the heated kunai been launched into the air about 4 meters above and beyond Taki's foe. She sunk down to the earth with a athletic crouch, ready to take on in any direction as her hands twisted and turned, matching each other perfectly. Her focus still remained hard upon Masumi's emplacement.

A wry expression played across her face as she watched the diva of a shinobi begin her assault. Clear as day two kunai were thrown at her one ordinary, the other hosting a paper tag. Child's play Masumi thought as her hands met in a brief exchange of dance.

"Suiton: Suijinheki no jutsu! "

A burst of water sprayed from her lips into that of a jet blocking both projectiles with ease. If the tagged one were to explode it would do little against Masumi's wall of water as it'd be shot back at its master, who had closed the distance but not by a lot.

"Oi? That all you got?"

Masumi asked in a haughty manner, trying to bait her opponent into a fool hearty attack.

Description: Suijinheki is one of the most impressive Suiton jutsu, and one of the few actually able to defend the user indefinitely from danger. The user will first do a string of hand seals, length varying by rank, and then they proceed to blow out a jet of water from their mouth. This stream moves at high speeds, and after five meters or so from the user, begins to form itself to a size equal and greater to that of the incoming attack, allowing it to act as a water barrier.

Child's play Masumi thought as her hands met in a brief exchange of dance.

Taki's canvassing eyes whipped about as her opponents fingers danced with one another, and in that instant she was gone, seemingly removing herself from the fabrics of reality itself completely. With a masterfully executed shunshin, Taki placed herself adjacent to Masumi's left side as geysers of water shot from her mouth to deflect Taki's previously deployed Kunai. The explosion ignited from across the bring, completely out of range of both Taki and Masumi. The second heated kunai unwillingly airted its direction as it had landed around the same area in the grass just one meter before the opposite end of the bridge. Masumi's had to be vulnerable as the water vomited from her mouth, assuming so, Taki turned and launch a rather powerful point-blank punch to Masumi's temple in attempt to send her stumbling (if not flying) off the edge of the bridge.

After launching her attack Taki would dash headlong down the bridge ending it with a 5 yard dive to the opposite end of the bridge, retrieving the kunai that had been deflected moments ago. She came to a perfect stand, her eyes continued to survey the surrounding area as she waited for things to heat up.

Like a Venus fly trap ensnaring its prey!

As the jet of water left her lips, the Diva shinobi vanished at her left, her fist mere inches from her face as the jutsu was stopped. Most would have been successful in such attempts, however against Masumi said attempts would always end in failure. Before contact would be made Masumi's lips curled deviously. She must have surely been in God's favor.

"Got ya!"

As the girls fist would strike her it would be lodged into her reformed head. Her arm would be completely through her head, stuck, this was achieve my simply altering the density of her body's liquid essence. Just as soon as the limb would be stuck, Masumi would utilize another of her Hozuki technique, one that'd end this match rather quickly.

Rapidly Masumi's essence would shift forward towards Taki at frightening speeds, and with the range escape would prove nigh impossible. Her entire body would appear like that of a giant blob as she'd attempt to engorge her enemy with her very being. If ensnared she'd began to feel excruciating pain of having direct contact with Masumi's vicous jelly as its callous, acid touch would began to eat at the girl.

Not only that but the pressure would prove unbearable as her bones would began breaking . Escape would from this technique would be nothing short of a miracle.

To the opponent, it'll feel as if they had buried their weapon/hand in sloppy mud. By reforming around the impact point, they are able to trick their opponent into coming in for an obvious attack. From this point, they can finish their opponent off, or capture them for later use.

Description: A highly effective combat technique due to its high element of surprise, this deadly jutsu is best reserved for close combat situations. In a moment when the Hozuki spots their opponent's opening, their essence suddenly shifts forward at frightening speeds, no longer resembling a human and instead reverting into a giant blob. Their aim is to envelop the victim, smothering them so that they drown in the dense waters, feel their bones break due to the pressure, and even poison them by using their unique jelly.

A sense of surprised and urgency cast itself upon Taki's face as her opponent began to materialize into a somwhat liquid state trapping her fist within her head. Not seconds later had the fist of Taki been ensnared within her opponents head had the explosive art began. Instantly after being caught Taki's body would it begin to heat up, surely causing pain (maybe not/if possible) before exploding into searing hot lava with a 5 meter radius, this would definitely disrupt her opponents actions in some way, shape, or form due to a nasty outcome.

Taki's real corporal form would come to bear from her concealed position only a second or do before the clone exploded; In a puff of smoke the previously thrown and deflected kunai would regress back into its original form in a athletic crouch just as before: Taki (15 yards away/initial starting point). Her palms clapped together forming a succession of hand seals with creamy, heavy speeds, and with a great exhalation a 30 meter (360 radius) cloud of corrosive mist took physical form. Immediately her hands continued to dance around with keen bright purple eyes still hard upon Masumi's position.

Description: Upon refining their chakra molding skills, the Youton user is able to rely on the Water aspect of the trio in order to produce a looser acid, specifically in the form of a corrosive mist. After a few seals, the user creates a cloud of mist which is emitted from their mouth in the form of simple exhalation. This mist has corrosive properties, which gives it an inherent disadvantage in that its effects are indiscriminate, limiting its usage to areas that do not presently contain allies until the attack is completed. In the event that the mist escapes the containment area, thus putting others in danger, the technique can be sufficiently manipulated to limit its acidic qualities to safer levels.
Finally, though the mist is corrosive to all around it, the user seems to be immune to it.

Concealment and a farce!

Obscurity, the veiled farce of the kunoichi's tactics were abolished, and validity came to light, a understanding of her intentions. The lava clone would began it slow detonation, leaving Mausmi, but only fractions of seconds to counter.

A violent torrent of water and lava expanded as her blob state was ruptured, sending both water and lava splashes about the proximity. Masumi had barely utilized her blob, watery state to slip into the river below, but she took damage, her essence more jelly than water as she slipped into the safety of the waning rivers depths.

Taking a breather within sanctuary she, slowly raised from the water, peering from her guised position. {Masumi is currently hidden in the water}

Glossy eyes, barring contempt and anger glared at the mist that lingered above, no doubt it's callous touch would prove fatal. Masumi would remain dormant within the rivers protection as she flicked three tagged kunai under the bridge, which was the last location of her enemy.

In a bright, vivid flash of blinding orange and fiery red the cobble stone bridge would topple, debris, and chunks of rock falling into the river.
{Not sure how much visibility you have of the outside world with your mist, but if its high i doubt you'd see it.}

While hidden away in the depths she clasped her hand together in a flash preparing her assault.

The better moment of a full second came to pass, making up a seemingly eternity of silence, something was strange, the liquid form of Taki's opponent which had been dissipated slowly began to sink off the edges of the bridge, taking refuge in its element. Moments passed, silence built, and suddenly...*BOOM!* A succession of explosives rocked the earth beneath Taki's feet with a concussion blast, causing the hapless bridge to crumple with ease. She saw it all as her corrosive mist lacked the density and fogginess that Kirigakure's mist technique did, thus allowing her to keep anything in sight from slipping focus. Debris and shrapnel was sent forth into the atmosphere, she needed to keep idle, she would have been more than a fool had she done so. Her initial plan hadn't unfolded like it should have due to uncontrollable variables, and with that Taki ended her mist technique followed by her impending retreat.

Being at the distance she was it allow hear to make a quick retreat considering she was at the very end of the bridge (opposite of Masumi) where the grassy plains began their influence. Taki's slender, curvaceous legs gave life to mobility with three backward leaps (5 meters each) away from both the bridge and the river. Not seconds later after her feet married the earthen floor once more had she spewed a 30 meter (width and length) sheet of lava onto the grassy floor. Given the heat and humidity the lava would not reach its cooling point for some time, making it more than useful later on, but for now, she waited, palming herself with a kunai.

Description: Youton, the marriage of Earth, Fire, and Water, yields a new and truly terrifying substance - lava. Birthed from the user's very chakra control and the simultaneous binding of all three sources, the Corrosion Disolvance Factor exists as the user's corrosion gauge. Essentially, as their control over the kekkei touta grows, so will the strength of the corrosion of lava, as well as the size and area of control. In their most basic state, the Youton user is able to summon a fixed amount of Lava within an designated area, and further the birthing by controlling the substance to their will.

The girl would began to leap back as the bridge structure faltered an collapsed to the watery depths below. Half of her liquid body would raise forth form the rivers surface as her cheeks were expanded.

As soon as she would began Masumi would fire forth five compressed bullets of water. The fashion they were strategically aimed in would be where she would land and follow in a row to the next, blocking off her backwards progress.

Her free hand tossed a kunai into the area, and once it tore itself into the earth she'd explode it. The water techniques and the kunai would be used in conjunction, their timing and usage in complete harmony. With the distraction used her hands clasped together in a powerful manner, a diabolical grin shaping her lips.

"Suiton: Baku Suishouha!"

Wave upon waved conjoined with the river as it spewed forth form her lips as she' rise, elevated form the water, her body part of the enormous wave. It would seemingly roar as the tide of the gigantic wave crashed upon the bank with veracity. Its intent was to swallow the entire proximity whole.

The acidic wave would eat away at all it could within its jaws of oblivion, like that of the mocking bird who's beak was turned into a tree wrecker.

Description: A simple yet effective suiton technique, after forming the necessary hand seals, the user manifests bullet sized water projectiles in their mouth, which can then spit at their opponent at fast speeds for a quick attack. As the user’s knowledge of the this technique increases, so does the amount of bullets they can fire off.

Baku Suishouha (Bursting Water Collision Waves)

Special: The waves are delivered with full force, power and speed for the first turn, and then flood an area twice the wave's range. When the user is ‘surfing’ the waves, their movement speed temporarily doubles.
Description: Baku Suishouha is an offensive ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton. After forming the needed handseals, the user will take a deep breath and appear to expel water from their mouth or gullet. This will then expand into a large volume of water, propelled forwards at high speeds, resulting in powerful initial blasting damage, as well as plenty of water to flood a small village, break down large barriers, or put out large fires. Lastly, if the user wishes, they can push a bit of additional chakra into their feel so that they can essentially walk along the water and even ride it as if they were surfing.

[OOC: The explosion(from the bridge) could surely create a cloud of obscuring smoke temporarily blinding Masumi. Even if it didn't it would take some time to one rise up from the water, locate Taki (because she moved) and then fire from a 15 yards/meters with precision, in addition moving at the speed of kunai (which isn't that fast). Surely if anything it would give me time, given that you said the amount of seals is equivalent to the rank(regarding the second attack). I'm not disregarding your attack, but it is possible to escape. ;D]

Taki's frame had already been elevated from mother Earth and on the move by the time Mamumi egressed from Poseidon's influence and unleashed a fusillade of water projectiles. The first of the five ripped through the atmospheric fabrics, salaciously zeroing in upon Taki's position, striking the ground only a meter before her as she landed from her first backwards leap(20m). "Fuck that was close!" The second jump came (25m) and as it did it seemed as though her attacks were out of range having failed to clear their designated distance, however, she would not take the risk. Finally the last jump had come (30m) and the volley of water bullets had not seen the light of the given fight.

(OOC: your technique says you have to keep hand seals in order to fire off the bullets so you would have had to stop then throw the kunai which causes a delay.)

Tossing a kunai with her left hand a shimmer streaked behind, a white tail at its end as it cut through the air, aimed at the kunoichi. In the same movement as it left her hand, she performed a set of handseals placing her hands upon the acid sea five man eating sharks rose from the water. {Handseals are only relevant to rank if the jutsu says so}

The sharks would move at a speed double that of its victim as they would encircle and attack her. Masumi kept her eyes upon the girl ever caution as she be limber, ready to move if the need arose.

Special: Initial liquefaction lasts a single turn by default. All Hozuki are impervious to non-elemental physical strikes, but are susceptible to Raiton and Hyouton - lightning attacks place on them are raised by a single rank, and when struck by it, they are unable to liquefy properly, and finally, ice jutsu have twice the freezing capabilities when coming in contact with the Hozuki. Ranks 'D' and 'C' represent the ability to liquefy one and two limbs at a time respectively (be it arms or legs); 'B' rank represents torso; 'A' rank represents head liquidation; 'S' rank allows the user to liquefy all together any time they want. Due to the pressure of the attacks, they can only be destroyed by ‘A’ ranked attacks and above. Sharks can travel wherever there is water, and exist until they are defeated or run out of water. The user cannot create more batches of sharks until the original five are defeated. The sharks do not distinguish between friend or foe. Requires a water source.
Description: Goshokuzame is a ninjutsu technique utilizing the power of Suiton, and although slightly unconventional due to its environmental prerequisites, nonetheless powerful and deadly. After the user forms the needed hand seals, they will place their hands on the surface of the water in order to transfer their chakra. From here, a shark of condensed water will emerge from each of the user’s fingertips, ordered only for one thing – to attack, maim and kill all opponents who reside in the water below.
