The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
Hands moved rather quickly as the male performed handseals, around twenty meters away from his opponent. The grassy field that separated them would be soon filed with death and decay. In a mater of a couple of seconds, an electrically energized being appeared by the side of Kaname, mirroring his appearance. The shocking clone rapidly charged towards his opponent, the battle had officially begun. Meanwhile, Kaname stayed ready for any sudden attack. He wouldn't be caught surprised any time soon. Sword at waist, he'd be ready to parry any strike sent towards him.

Simultaneous to the blonde’s weaving of seals did the Medic begin his own, dark skinned hands weaving together a most faux but convincing sensation. The opponent’s lower extremities would increase in viscosity at the sequence’s end, resulting in some rather annoying yet devastating effects. Immediately after, the male fumbled within his pouch littered with various weaponry and launched a projectile of an ivory hue, poised to stick firmly into Gaia but a meter north of the opponent. Taking note of the doppelganger speedily approaching, Arate tensed, right hand still nestled within his open bag.

Suddenly, his legs would begin to feel wobbly, weak, how come, was it the handseals he had just done. Quickly, he'd think through the situation, this could not a ninjutsu, he highly doubted it, his legs still appeared to be in a normal state. The only obvious prospect would be genjutsu. How to escape it though was a tough question. But, would he really need to. He quickly grabbed a Kunai knife from his pouch and threw it. The two weapons would meet five meters before Kaname. The fact that his opponents projectile had slowed down with the distance it traveled, that the opponent wasn't that adept at knife throwing and that Kaname had the advantage in not only speed, but was stronger than the rival as well meant his opponents projectile would rebound backwards off his own Kunai, bouncing off an extra five meters north of Kaname which was in front of him meaning the distance it'd likely land on the ground away from Kaname would likely be ten meters.
The electrical clone had continued his journey as well and in three seconds after being summoned, he had already cut the distance. Now putting into consideration the one second and a half that Genjutsu user had been fumbling his pouch to pull out a weapon and throw it, he wouldn't have enough time to form a handseal to save his life and the fact that it'd probably take him an extra second and a half to reach back for his pouch to grab another weapon and throw it again meant the clone would likely be within a meter of his opponent by this time. Furthermore, what would a weapon do to such a clone even if he succeeded in throwing another weapon, nothing really. Once Kaname realized the close proximity between his clone and the opponent, a handseal would be done, a single one and the Shocking Clone would explode. All the electricity would be directed to the Genjutsu user and hopefully this battle would have come to a swift end.
The opponent’s plan was clever, Arate would give him that, but unfortunately he had miscalculated. The tailed knife was not following a linear trajectory but rather at an angled one. The possibility of successfully striking the Medic’s thrown kunai, given its flight path, as well as causing it to be knocked back five meters was of impossibility. For that to occur, the kunai had to be literally stricken on its underside, which the opponent had not done. Even so, the Hokage did manage to strike and stop the boy’s kunai with his own, causing it to drop at the five meter mark. True, Arate wasn’t the most athletic individual in the world and the fact that his opponent intercepted his kunai was believable and to be expected. But it mattered not.
All the while, the dark skinned boy had been watching with an unwavering gaze and after immediately noticing the kunai being intercepted yet still being at a favorable proximity, hands came together to form but a single seal, therefore activating the combustible. Scorching flames and billowing smoke encompassed the five meter blast radius as heated bits of shrapnel flew outward indiscriminately, capable of perforating the blonde haired ninja, as if the fire wasn’t enough. The blonde would not have the chance to observe his own lightning clone nor would he be able to commence with its own detonation since he had to suffer the effects of but a simple yet deadly shinobi tool. Evasion would not find itself easy for the opponent had already succumbed to the effects of the Medic’s debilitating Genjutsu and the taller ninja’s choice to ignore that would prove to be fatal.
The Kunai stood five meters away from Kaname. The explosion was on a five meter radius. Which only meant... evasion would simply mean taking a step back. Or a hop back depending on how cautious you are. He didn’t really have those simple choices. Do not get it wrong though, he still had the opportunity of evading the technique. Seeing the opponent a single handseal triggered Kaname to fall backwards at the same time, he didn’t need his legs to fall backwards either. And while falling backwards, Kaname did a trick of his own, a single hand seal and his lightning clone would explode.
Of course, the opponent would not get the chance to see the hand seal being done and would be caught by surprise, this was considering the explosion hid Kaname from sight. That was not all. Those heated bits of shrapnel, they helped him, a couple of them landed on his thigh, giving the Hokage pain... enough pain to evade the genjutsu and regain control of his two lower limbs. Quickly he turned his body onto his belly and like a track star jumped up to a vertical base and quickly scurried away as bits of shrapnel collided with his clothing but weren’t deep enough to touch his skin. Fight over?
True, the opponent was at the outer perimeters of the explosion and even though he had fallen victim to the Genjutsu, he was resourceful in the fact of falling backwards to spare him taking much unneeded damage from the detonation of the exploding tag however it wasn’t as if Arate would remain idle after his single handseal. No, just as the exploding tag combusted into short-lasting flames and cloudy smoke, the youth shunshined forward, narrowly escaping the violent explosion of electrical energy from the lightning doppelganger, the exploding tag wasn’t necessarily utilized in order to cause harm but to conceal and concealing it would do. True, he had not witnessed the Hokage’s single handseal but in turn, the Leaf Village Leader would not notice the Medic’s soundless evasion, he too being masked by the cloud of smoke. Still, the boy made haste, retrieving yet more arrays of secondary weaponry from his respective pouch as he deftly maneuvered around the cloud’s right side, barely sprinting outside of the cloud’s perimeter. Unfortunately for the Kage, the shrapnel wouldn’t be sufficient in breaking him out of the Genjutsu seeing as though Arate’s skill in illusionary arts was much higher than his ( Primary vs Teritary ) and as a result, the opponent would be forced to endure two turns of unavoidable suffering at the hands of the simple yet potent illusion.
Seeing this, once the blonde ninja fell belly-down, he’d simply fall amongst the soft grasses, completely incapable of performing his acrobatic maneuver of choice. Instead, he’d literally be a sitting duck, face down due to the Genjutsu making his legs feel as if they were coated within a vicious glue and also causing him to lose almost all sense of balance. The dark skinned boy would quickly be but five meters away from the Kage’s position, now in front of the large cloud of smoke. Effortlessly, he launched but a tailed kunai poised to plant itself deep into the Kage’s exposed back and it was then that a familiar handseal would be executed therefore causing the kunai and tag to erupt into a brilliant display of smoke and flame from before. As an extra precaution, the boy leapt back a meter once he had detonated the explosive note, making sure that he too wouldn’t fall victim to its dangerous spray of bits of metal.
The fact that he had landed on his back (as mentioned earlier, not on his belly) was unfortunate due to the fact that he was unable to move. He needed to do something, just in case his opponent neared him. Pulling out a blade from his pouch, with an explosive tag attached to it, he threw the dangerous material, seven meters to his left side (your right), his opponent had yet to notice it and before Kaname could throw a kunai and an explosive tag to his right side(your left), the opponent had already appeared at his right, not noticing the explosive tag. Effectively, seeing his plan placed into action, Kaname had done a single handseal before the explosive note would explode in a five meter radius and the opponent was just two meters in front of it. Furthermore, this handseal would be done before the opponent had even thrown the kunai.
A steely glint coupled with the fluttering of inscribed parchment captured the boy’s attention as he was making his way towards the downed Hokage. Halting twelve meters away from the opponent, the Medic scoffed to himself, knowing exactly what the purpose of the kunai was. The smoke from the previous exploding tag had cleared and thus, the dark skinned boy was able to see the faint image of the opponent, lying down on his back and ultimately leaving him in quite the vulnerable position. Although his path was blocked, the Medic’s premature diversion only allowed for a quicker and deadlier counter. Immediately after stopping twelve meters away from his opponent, the youth retaliated with a modified piece of weaponry, the projectile embedding itself but two meters to the opponent’s left. Just as quickly as the Medic hurled the weapon did he activate the tag, all but a single handseal needed before the area was amass with flame and smoke. Even after the tag’s activation, the male progressed through a series of handseals, adding a bit of a safety net for his own self should the opponent was capable of evading the attack.
Just as quickly as the Medic hurled the weapon did he activate the tag, all but a single handseal needed before the area was amass with flame and smoke.
Meaning, his opponent had triggered the tag just as he threw it, that was rather dangerous and reckless, he had caused the tag to explode right in front of him. Furthermore, just in case, a kunai thrown towards the opponent with an explosive tag (already) attached to it. He'd do the same as his opponent although he'd play it smart, instead of immediately exploding it when it was right in front of him, he waited till the kunai and its artillery had been within the radius of his opponent, surely the double explosion would take care of his opponent. Immediately post throw, he'd pull out his blade to help him get back to a vertical base by placing it on the ground and using the shaft to pull himself up.
