✿Personality:
The first feature to the swordsman known as seiya, easily lays in herchild like behavior. She usually stays relatively silent at first glance. Sitting alone, eating alone and so forth. She barely shows emotions like happiness, sadness, anger and so forth, but this does not mean she is stone. She shows sadness, she smiles when something pleases her and makes her feel lighter inside. She scowls and growls at those who anger her or piss her off, and she can be surprised or be in aw. She walks with an average pale expression of dull eyes, a lax smile, not a single vein or crease not meant to be there. When she gets to know people though she breaks out of her shell and is extremely social, to the extreme.
Seiya is not afraid of death. Sure, this does not make her perfect. She can feel the diffrence of power. She's not reckless. She will not fight battles that she knows will end in failure. Though if ordered, she will not run. She does fear for her life to end early. but that is usually due to her having something or someone she owes something to. If she is to die, so be it though. She will not beg. Through Zen meditation, she has reached ultimate focus and reach a level of thought words cannot describe. It's nothing different. Just it helps her calm where many falter. if faced with death, she will focus and stay still. Dying honorably instead of in vain. But this focus she only will do, when the time comes. it teaches one to "know thyself" and do not to limit yourself. seiya used this as a tool to drive out fear, unsteadiness and ultimately mistakes. These things could get her killed. With this, she tries to stop that.
Her personality is unique, it gave her loyalty and patriotism. With this, she follows Confucianism's stress on the five moral relations between master and student, father and son, husband and wife, older and younger brother, and friend and friend, are what seiy afollows. Not like the old days she understands it is not as sexist as it once was. She has modernized it, yet stays in the foundation of how she communicates to those around her. With respect. The only time she would go against those above her was if she believed on every moral fiber of her being that it was growing corrupt, and thus she would leave.. betray a better word but a harsh one.
Along with these virtues, seiya also holds justice, benevolence, sincerity, honesty, and self-control in utmost respect. Justice is one of the main factors in the code of the samurai in which she follows. Crooked ways and unjust actions are thought to be lowly and inhumane, those who deceive and show distrust. Who steal and do crimes must be punished. seiya's word is law to her. Sincerity and honesty are valued as much as her blade and her life. Her word transcends a pact of complete faithfulness and trust in those she gives that word to. With such pacts there was no need for a written pledge or contract. Despite that she can and will lie when needed. If it is a suspicious figure or a stranger, she will lie. But when she says she gives her word on something, she means it.
Friendship is what she holds key. Everyone needs a friend. Friends are those whom you trust even more then your superiors. They are the source of happiness in most everyday life. She values those she calls friends and will spend much time with them. laughing and having a good time. She can not bring herself to betray those close to her. Betrayal is a hard part of her life. She fears to betray those close to her, to betray Soul Society. She was betrayed once already, and the scar on her chest is a painful reminder. Her thought to be true love left her for power and greed. She still to this day hurts to think about the very thought of betrayal.
Love and benevolence were supreme virtues and princely acts to seiya. seiya follows a specific etiquette in every day life as well as in war. She did love alot once. And she did have crushes frequently. The day she met her love, she had been in total bliss. She may feel like someone is nice, and good. She may become friends. But she tends to stay away from romance.
Despite her calmness, she is human .Temper and Attitude. This girl is dynamite with legs. She has a short temper, especially when questioned or being called wrong. She will easily assault anyone that pisses her off. To get her pissed off is not easy. Goofing and such is fine, she'll laugh and have a good time. But insults. Lots of them. And injuring her friends. Joking about parts of her past that she has been through hard times.. That will piss her off. She will curse and yell and scold you, and is far from calm and serious. Her fuse is short, but she is like a firecracker, it does not usually last to long and she'll calm down within a moment, depending how pissed she was and what they did to piss her off to begin with.
Despite being a warrior, she is like everyone else. She has sin. She grows Envious of certain aspects. Not much greedy or lustful though. The one thing she has most of is Pride. She is not terrible but her pride is much like the blade she so holds so dear to her. She hates to look weak. She hates being outdone. She tried hard to compose herself and throw the pride away, but as they say, Pride is the strongest sin.
Seiya is a major bookworm, her face is always in the brim of the books. She can always be found reading or in the library. She gets most of her information from the books, especially how to impress guys. She thinks she needs to be calm, cold and emotionless to make a guy think she is mysterious and want their adventurous side to kick in. Though deep down, she's a child.
