The shinobi in all black clothing (see profile), along with bandages wrapped around his head and covering his left eye, standing ten meters from where his opponent would have been prepared himself for combat. He would carry everything upon him that he would need, weapons, jutsu, etc. He had known that a true warrior always stepped into the battlefield at the ready, and hopefully his opponent was as well. His ash grey, right eye, had stared straight forward in the path ahead of him, with eyes that resembled those of a wild beast.

Akuharu stood, summoned ten meters before a heavily concealed man in black clothing, his head cocked quizzically to the side. Around him, the 100 meter area seemed a little too vacant, the massive clasped hands at its center an ominous precursor to the many battles this arena's tiled floors had seen. He held Nameless, blade forward towards his opponent with a confident grip, as he would nod briefly in the man's direction, both arms comfortably hanging at his sides. There was no sounding of a gong, no drums, no bell to signal the beginning of the match; it had already begun. As the two faced each other, the young Uchiha would speak up, his voice polite, his manner controlled and eager to start.

Akuharu.

His head nodded a second time, a show of respect.

OOC: I turned down the rank of my Mokuton Ryuuken, because the technique I used would have made it cheap with our distance we have.

The shinobi had watched his opponents movements carefully with his right eye, making sure he didn't miss anything he would do. Being without his left eye, his right eye would have to work twice as hard and be twice as sharp, he couldn't allow for any slip ups. When the boy had gave his name and bowed, a smirk had came across the shinobi's face. There was no need to tell him his name now or show any type of respect toward him, he would save that until he would see the boy's skill, and if he was worthy or not to hear his name or given any respect.

With the ten meter distance, and only moments after the shinobi would have both, his hands had went to work, performing a set of seals near-instantly, far faster than the natural human eye could keep up with. Making it seem like all he did was clap his hands together to the naked eye. With this, his left arm would thrust at immediately after, and using his right leg to step back behind his left, though below his right shoulder, creating stability in his stance. While doing this all simultaneously, from his left arm, several beams of wood had birth from his arm, these beams would arm toward the boy's lower waist and thighs, growing at double the speed of his Mokuton Ryuuken.

With his Doton Ryuuken, he would use it to sense out his movements upon the earth, if he had been able to make any further movements.

Spikes can deviate up to 90 degrees from the main wood piece's travel path. Finally, growth speed of wood is double the user's max 'Mokuton Ryuuken' growth rate.
Description: After a few simple seals, the Mokuton user will changes one's own arm into big trees and use it to extend a large mass of spikes towards their target. Using chakra, the tissues are transformed into trees at the cellular level. Then, by activating the trees, stimulating them to grow rapidly, they lengthen at high speed and fork into many branches. These spikes can act both to impale his target and as a barrier to protect a comrade. Such is the strength of the stakes that it is said to be able to break through defenses of the same Rank or lower than the technique. When the technique is over, the trees fall off of the user's arm and the user will regain the use of his or her arms.

That would be the only sound heard, Akuharu moving in a near untraceable shimmer, almost straight ahead, his feet a blurring of steps whose obscurity would not have time to be noted by his opponent. The very moment his foe's arms would begin their motion, the oft over-used Shunshin would carry the Kirigakure Shinobi across the ten-meter expanse far faster than the completion of a ninjutsu technique could be performed. By the time the nuance of hands coming together could be registered, Akuharu, sword still in hand, would be directly before his opponent, though, given its prior placement, the substantial length of the nodachi would already be through his opponents body. Given Akuharu's height relative to the unnamed stranger, the blade would no doubt enter through the uppermost portion of the man's fingers, biting through the center of his chest with satisfaction.

It was not a stabbing movement, or a slash; no technique aided in its severity. Only a knowing grip and a burst of speed. Whether the sword would hit true or not mattered little, for simultaneously as he'd arrive, his left foot would lash out, aimed to kick straight down into the man's right kneecap and propel his body forward, deeper into the blade. A flushing of chakra would saturate the tenketsu of Akuharu's face, pupils swirling into crimson and black, as his left hand would reach back an instant after, elbow no doubt impacting with the boy's uncovered eye [or at the very least, that side of his face] as it rose, to retrieve Akurojin-no-hi from the chain at his back as well.

OOC: Just gonna put this out here. Efficient Sealing takes off a second per level it gets. D-rank jutsu takes 1 second, C-rank jutsu takes 2 seconds. I have Efficient Sealing level 2, so it takes off 2 seconds from all of my jutsu, so it technically is performed at the speed any E-rank jutsu can be performed, and the jutsu is birthed immediately. Though, my jutsu moves at 6 MPS (meters per second) after, where as, your Shunshin can be seen as you come toward me, since it isn't instant or near-instant. My character can clearly see you coming toward me, and if anything, I would say that the speed of your character, rushing toward me would be 8 MPS, double of what we are naturally able to move, but I could be wrong.

While the shinobi would have finished his set of handseals, he would see his opponent rushing toward him at high speed movements, and with his body already position in the way it would have been. He would swiftly turn his left foot toward the right, and in a swift, fluent motion, he'd also turn his torso as well, decreasing the amount of mass the target had to hit directly on by turning it into a position which would make it appear thinner. His body now upon the right side of his foes body, his blade which originally targeted to impale the males body (torso area), would no doubt miss it's target. The opponent's destination was ten meters, meaning he would now be exactly in front of the bearded shinobi, and with him being their, in his stiff position (since he wasn't prepared in anyway if he would have missed), the shinobi's technique, which would have shot out toward the foe had split into three parts.

Which caused them to grow in different directions, pierced and grown through the right side of his opponents toward, ripping through it.

The outcome was as predicted. His opponent had dodged in the exact manner he'd needed, and Akuharu perceived the slight turn of the man's pivoting step as clearly as his own Shunshin had been read. Luckily, impalement from Nameless had not been an attack, merely positioning, and thus had no real target. His target, of course, had been to cause his opponent to turn away, and in the grip of his right hand, Nameless would strike out, Akuharu's body using its placement during the kick he'd hoped would not land as the opportunity to step down with force, pivoting as it touched the ground and allowing the Kirigakure shinobi's blade to tilt back, the flat length of the blade released into his foes path. The ill-defined triple split of the quickly formed branches, as they'd no longer seek to wrap him but pierce through his body, would merely push the nodachi towards its master as it was let go; though the momentum of Akuharu's pivot would allow his left hand, Akurojin-no-hi now in place, to stab cleanly through his opponents exposed throat as his body spun, leaving the naginata in place. He'd been extraordinarily lucky his opponent had dodged to his right.

If and when the growing branches of Mokuton would continue on their path, yet another simple blurring of steps would carry Akuharu behind his opponent a split second later, a motion that, given his proximity, would take even less than a second [going off your established 8 mps speed], dodging the altered motions of any further wooden constructs, his own quick hands fluttering through their seals.

His Sharingan, tomoe spinning, observed all of the man's movements, readying Akuharu to react with agility no matter the outcome.¹
