Alright, children. Instead of you stalking every battle post that I make (or have made), I've decided to open a thread to answer all of your questions and help you out with whatever you might be needing. The list of what I can help you with is extensive, including but not limited to:

• Concealing your actions better and making you a sneaky beaver.
  
  
• Combining your techniques to become an even more lethal force.
  
  
• Mastering the art of melee (hand to hand or weaponry) for when Ninjutsu and Genjutsu just don't cut it, and you've got to get a little personal with your victim.
  
  
• Describing your actions more fluently and coherently; hell, just writing your posts better, overall. Yes, I'll make you a better writer. But remember, bigger words=/=good writing.
  
  
• Answer "how to beat this clan, kekkei genkai, or setup" based questions.

It goes without saying that this is entirely free, and I won't be charging you ryo or any other bullshit like that. The way I see it, the better writer/fighter you lot are, the more fun it'll be stompin' your fuckin' lights out. However, I do have a few rules.

Do not fucking send me a PM about this shit. If you want help, post here. This isn't exclusive knowledge that I'm giving out, and chances are you and 100 other people have the same question. Furthermore, don't bother me about this. If you've posted up a question it will be answered. Sometimes I've got stuff goin' on; other times, I may just not feel like typin' up a detailed response.

So like I'm the first here xD

Call me noob, but the fact is this is my first major attempt at naruto warfare an iv'e found the tactics and fighting style quite different from bleach. Iv'e just started learning how to 'layer' I think thats what you call it, my techniques and also conceal my true attack or objective.

What I feel I could truly use help in, is the art of concealment, since iv'e been told I can sometimes be misunderstood. I'd like pointers on some ways I could add this stealthy scheme to my arsenal. So as in what words are best, simple, big, dorkish? And structuring in general.

I appreciate you lending your time to the noobs little people like us and if you find anything I posted un-clear tell me so I may clarify. {it's very late} thank you.

Honestly, I can't tell you what "words" specifically are best. Things will change on a case-by-case basis, and you'll need to alter your strategy based on that. I'll give you some situations, though. These are bits you can apply to anywhere, no matter what:

1. You'll always have to hint at what you're doing, just so that your opponent can't say you're pullin' it out of your ass. If you notice, every time I've got a wire on a weapon or somethin', I'll say that there is some sort've barely visible, glinting trail following said object. This is more than substantial enough to justify wire being there, obviously.

2. Depending on your surroundings, and what you're doing, casually note some differences to the setting. I mean, only do this if it fits your prep/concealment. Its use might be rare, but I assure that when you do use it, it'll be worth it.

3. For sayin' you've got something on something else, just go with the most basic language. For example, if I've got an explosive note on a kunai, I'll usually say that it's "marked," or "tagged." Somethin' to that effect, y'know?

Essentially, you don't need to come right out and say what it is that you're doing. You can hint (make sure it's viable), but otherwise you can be as vague as you'd like. Chances are, the less details, the better.

I need some tips as well, I want to know how to make posts more fluently. So is there a major tip, which can make posts flow more smoothly and not all over the place?

1) It seems that when ever I make an attack an opponent is just able to skirt away without even trying. Is there a way I can describe my attacks so that it leaves them little room to dodge or even so that I can make them dodge the way I need them too to set up another attack?

2) Second, I could use some help in fending off ninjutsu users with only a taijutsu user and vice versa.

My question is the opposite of Nao's. How do I fend of a tai user with a Nin user?

1.They are extremely fast and can close distance almost immediately. This makes it very hard to keep or get away from them without getting killed. How do I avoid a situation like that?

2. if I do get into that situation where a taijutsu user gets very close, how do I get out of it? I need to be able to get away and escape before being killed.

Really, this is just a matter of spacing out your prose and using a few key words at the beginning of the next. Don't try to fit everything into a single paragraph, because then it just seems like you're rushing things. Take your time, enjoy writing what it is that your character is doing.

Furthermore, if you've got your character performing an action while also doing something else, don't forget to words and sayings, like, "mean while," or "all the while," or "simultaneously."

Example: Sanguis quickly sifted through a set of three seals as he approached Aiko, his hands nothin' more than a blur against the brisk morning air.

Meanwhile, his clone was approachin' from behind her, mirroring its creator's set.

See what I mean?

1. Not every attack needs to be a fatal one. If you know they're just going to dodge (because most people don't understand the opportunity that arises when you take a hit), then set them up for a counter attack in the near or immediate future. A good example of this is my recent fight with Hiromasa. I threw two kunai at him (I didn't expect one of them to hit, but I was ready just in case it did) to try and bait him to move, so I could counter him with a Sharingan combo.

2. People underestimate the power of the academy techniques. For a taijutsu user, the replacement technique is going to be your best friend; you need to be ready to use it all the time. Not only will it get you out of harms way, but you can effectively close the distance with it as well. Basically, you want to stay in their face the entire time, and keep them moving between your attacks so they don't have time to perform Ninjutsu.

1. Slow them down. People focused purely on Ninjutsu need to have decent defensive techniques, or methods to slow taijutsu beasts down. Poisons, maim them, stuff like that. People can't run too fast with a sprained ankle, or a torn ligament. Make 'em trip over a piece of wire or something. I mean, you know they have to come to you; be ready for it.

2. You need to be comfortable, and ready, with going hand-to-hand with them for a minute. Honestly, 98% of the "taijutsu users" don't know how to actually fight with their character. All they'll do is use a jutsu, which is easily evadable (none of them are instant deaths). So, once you do that-- just take a kunai and stab them in the neck.

If they aren't using jutsu, the fight falls into the realm of realistic melee (for the most part). If you're decent there, you shouldn't have a problem.

My biggest question is how to get the jump on Sharingan users, while being a non-doujutsu ninja?

Specifically, I'm a Yukina, and I understand that it's all well and good if you can get them in the hidden mist technique. But assuming that they have mist-vision as well as a three-tomoe sharingan, what other real options do I have to disable them up-front, aside from baiting them into a counter-attack that can't be evaded, or flash-bombing? Especially if they're Taijutsu users who can flicker out of range in an instant with Shunpo?

1) My character is slower and weaker than others, his long ranged so it generally leads to people deciding to close the distance and fight me face to face. I do have some methords to counter this but my question is if I am in a hand to hand situation, slower, weaker, and have no taijutsu techniques, so have to use no techiques is their any tips that you could give me so that I could hold my own better.

2) I always tend to find people breaking my genjutsu with metagaming only thing is they make it logical, like opening the gates to get closer to me or some bullshit like that. Any ideas on preventing meta gaming both in general and genjutsu specific.

Getting the jump on Uchiha is difficult, but not impossible. Fighting one with a Sharingan (Regardless of the stage) essentially allows them to predict and foresee your movements if you attack them straight on; however, they aren't Hyuuga - they're as blind as anyone from behind. Thats not easy though, right?

Instead, the real key to fighting them, as well as anyone in general, is exploiting their posts. Use their mistakes, illogical timing, as well as even any vagueness made by them to turn it around on them and take the upperhand. If you're skilled enough, prepare ahead when you attack. Using subtle clues and sly language is enough to better most people without the need of techniques.

2. Like I said above, be sly. I'm not telling you to go out and get a thesarus and just use flashy language-- no, just be clever and witty and disguise your actions. You have a lot of room to do so with Genjutsu because most of it isn't as centralized and to the point as Ninjutsu is. As far as people metagaming out of Genjutsu once their caught, if that happens alert a BM.

1. Exploit it. If someone fails to mention just how far they moved, or even if they forgot to mention something crucial in their posts, exploit it. Truthfully, using exploits effectively can win you a fight 90% of the time.

IE: Player 1 fires a gargantuan fireball with a diameter of around 10 meters at Player 2.

Player 2 sees the fireball and jumps to the left to avoid it.

Player 2 never stated how far he jumped to the left, so under T1 Player 1 is free to state a logical distance for him. If done right - and logically - you can essentially exploit Player 1's post into still keeping him in the way of the explosion.

2. Use logic. Shinobi are generally faster, stronger, and more agile than normal human beings. Therefore, running from Point A to Point B wouldn't take as long for shinobi as it would for humans. You just have to judge and write accordingly. A tip for the future: Don't jump into the air unless absolutely needed. Once you're stuck into the air you cant move around as freely, and thus might be subjected to exploitation!

3. Using Ninjutsu + Taijutsu IS Nintaijutsu, hence the name. Unless considered Nintaijutsu, you can't use Ninjutsu and Taijutsu simultaneously. That being said, no one is stopping you from being clever and creating combos of the two!

Just going to add a little more onto what Naga's already done a very good job at explaining.

[/b] You need to be aware of what is "exploitable" and what isn't. A good example would be the team battle between Tenkai, Daisy, Shinryu and Shark. Tenkai failed to state exactly how big her crystals were, so Shinryu thought that he could make the sizes of them to fit whatever he wanted. This is incorrect, and considered an "auto" (which aren't allowed).

Exploiting doesn't always mean stating something that your opponent did. It can also apply to using the vagueness of a statement to better facilitate your own post. For instance, if you're thirty feet away from your opponent and they start running at you, but fail to say how fast or how close they were by the end of their post, that gives you a lot to work with in terms of a response.

You simply need to pay attention to the important details (distance, speed, and namely timing) and remember that all three of those factors are neutral, no matter what. This means that they (the three factors) can either work against you or for you, depending on how you use them. The same applies to your opponent, as well.

2. Again, timing these things are pretty normal. Despite us using shinobi (i.e the epitome of human conditioning), every other factor applies. You really just need to put them in the real world, because it's very relevant in the grand scheme of things.

Unless enhanced by some other means, all of our characters are the same in terms of speed, strength, agility, and the list goes on. So, when you're running at someone, you just need to realize that as fast as you're running, they can do the same and then factor that in.

People also need to remember that just because we have a habit of using "meters" as our general rule of measurement, a meter isn't that big. A normal person can run fifteen feet n'change in a few seconds, which means two shinobi running at their fastest would mean a second or two before the pair collided with each other. We've got people in the real world that can run faster than 60mph, and I'm fairly certain ninja can trump that.

Basically, it comes down to being able to correlate real life factors into a fictional world. Timing will play an even more crucial role, because windows of opportunity are far smaller than most people realize. In a world people can close great distances in the blink of an eye, last-minute efforts are a sure way to lose. You need to plan ahead of time, several steps sometimes, in order to secure a victory.

3. Like Naga said, unless it's specified as Nintaijutsu, you can't effectively use them simultaneously. That doesn't stop you from using combo attacks, or using one technique to increase the effectiveness of a punch or something. A perfect example would be to throw some kunai, and then use a fuuton technique to make them move faster.[/ul][/justify]
