The hidden away sunlight attempted to pierce through the tall trees and bustle of leaves. Small rays hit the earth's soil below his feet. He stood, back rested along a rather large tree. His arms were folded along his chest and his eyes gazing straight ahead. He was lost, for the time being, but didn't mind it. He, instead of making haste to make his way back into the village, would remain where he was. No point in rushing when he wasn't needed. The mission was done, and done remarkably swift at that. He felt he had time to spare.

Gazing forward, dark hues of blue would expand across the forest, looking for answers, or an interest.

Autumn leaves draped down the forest in a golden manifest. The trees swayed back and forth as the chuunin protruded the forests dense walls into the dirty path. Sohyo’s own optic embers peered through the depths of the forest into the optics of his counter. He licked his lips to taste the air and smirked as he’d come to a halt. Feet beckoned within the earth with a slight nudge of his legs… it almost shattered beneath him.

Chakra moistened through his body in courses unknown to his foe. A predatory instinct fueled through the senju… this was his forest and no one else would claim domain. He awaited the first move, not daring lay his eyesight off the enemy.

Piercing eyes gazed upon a humanoid form 25 meters away. Reiten's arms unfolded and laid at his side. As he spotted his target a shock of electricity jolted up his spin, to his neck, and back down again. His heart picked up in pace. It was time.

"I've been waiting for you," he said, his tone loud enough to be heard. The birds picked up, moving away from the area from the increasing intensity of the air. The trees rustled about as they flew to safety. Reiten took a single step forward with his left leg. He kept his eyes on the man before him. "I am Uchiha, Reiten. I'll be your opponent today." With a calm breeze flooding the area, they began.

Reiten's left hand flicked at his side. His fist suddenly bore three shuriken. A basic of shinobi tools. He paused for a brief second, letting the moment of battle settle within him. Then in a flash his left arm flew to his right side, projecting from them the flying blades towards his opponent, aiming at nothing in particular. The shuriken would impale the torso of a stiff opponent, though he knew better than to expect that of even the most unskilled of shinobi.
