PHYSICALITY[/u]
- Height: 6’2”
- Weight: 185 lbs.
- Apparel: Daisuke wears rather typical attire for a shinobi. Although perfectly comfortable without any clothing on Daisuke wears a number of layers as he is more worried of the freezing cold than the blistering heat in Takigakure no Sato. From top to bottom Daisuke wears his headband where most shinobi wear theirs, around his forehead. The symbol of his village is highly visible in between his bangs and the shinobi uses the cloth it is attached to in order to tie his hair back and keep it from clouding his vision. Below that Daisuke wears a black t-shirt with a high collar that could almost be classified as a turtleneck. The t-shirt is made from a thin material and causes little stress from heat for Daisuke. In order to protect himself from the cold Daisuke often wears a sleeveless vest, very similar to the military jackets worn by Jounin of any village. The jacket isn’t formal attire though and is made from wool like fabric. The vest is a light blue that matches the cloth used in his headband and has a zipper so it can be easily adorned and taken off. To complete his upper body Daisuke wears a pair of black fingerless gloves that have small pads throughout the palm to cushion any damage that might be incurred.
Below the waist down Daisuke wears clothing that matches quiet closely to the already established dark shinobi attire that he prefers for his tops. For bottoms the Genin will wear short military fatigue pants, dark blue in color. The blue is several shades darker than both his vest and his headband, but works as a nice middle ground between the lighter blue and the black of his t-shirt. Tied around the pants on his right knee are medical bandages that have the duty of preventing the shuriken holster tied above that from digging into his skin and causing any slight bruising or rashes. For the last finishing touches of his ensemble Daisuke wears long black boots with open toes and back, a combination of the common boots and sandals worn by shinobi. The boots go higher than the ankles and his fatigues are tucked into them leaving no skin beyond the heel and toes exposed. The shoes are very sturdy and allow Daisuke to run long distances without causing excess strain on his feet from it. - Body Appearance: For the most part Daisuke’s appearance is typical of any other shinobi around his age. The young man stands at a fairly tall 6’2” and weighs 185 lbs. His weight is a little on the light side for someone as tall as he, but it is all lean muscle. Although having dedicated most of his life to the pursuit of perfecting his ninjutsu Daisuke has taken care not to neglect strengthening his body. Well corded muscles lie just beneath the surface of his clothing. Daisuke is certainly not the strongest or the fastest shinobi his age, but he has crafted a body that was built for stamina. Without his shirt on easily chiseled muscles can be seen that flex with every movement of his body. His legs stretch and flex under his own weight absorbing the shock of running with little effort to provide maximum distance before tiring. His body is in better shape than any average man his age and it is a testament to his profession.
Daisuke’s face is fair, but masculine enough that it saves him from being mistaken for a woman. His eyebrows in particular are thick and black and furrow in only the sort of way a man’s could. His eyes are a startling golden. Daisuke is unsure why his eyes are so, as far as he knows no one of his bloodline has had such eyes before. Framing his soft face is long dark blue hair. His hair falls far to the midsection of his back while shorn shorter in the front to just past his shoulders. The long hair helps accentuate his feminine features. His hair is brushed daily, but often his bangs become unruly growing out from his face.
Daisuke appears like normal most of the time. However, as a Hozuki he is capable of liquefying his body in order to take on the attributes of water. When this happens a part or possibly all of his body turns to liquid. Unless utilizing a technique the liquid that makes up his body is clear and clean looking. The kind of water that can be found in Takigakure’s very own waterfall. However, there is an ebb and flow to his body in this form that differs from anything in nature. It is as if his body contains its own tide. However, the tide changes so sporadically that it does not seem to be tied to any moon or time. Sunlight can stream through his body in this state and on very bright days he seems almost ethereal. - Blemishes & Scars: Daisuke has been rather lucky in life and has managed to get to where he is without any real injuries that would have caused blemishes or scars.
COGNITION[/u]
- Personality: Daisuke is a fairly kind man. Despite living the harsh life of a shinobi the young man does his best to pursue what is right when he can. He believes that sometimes to maintain his code of ethics rules need to be broken and mission parameters need to be widened. If he can he will never outright go against the mission directive, but he will do what he can to warp it till it satisfies his sense of right. The stock he puts into duty and what is right strengthens his resolve to become a medic in the future. In his eyes healing is as right as it gets and from what he has read there are plenty of techniques a medic can learn that allow a fair amount of butt whipping too.
Despite his desire to do the right thing Daisuke’s attitude tends to conflict with his own desires. Perhaps due to being poorly raised the Genin is incredibly abrasive and quiet rude. He is not afraid to tell you what he thinks and he is especially happy to if it means giving you a piece of his mind. He is ill equipped for the sort of pillow talk expected of a medic as well. His idea of calming a patient down is smacking them in the face and telling them they are being hysterical and to get a hold of themselves. Often he will do the right thing with his actions, but ruin any good will earned by being utterly rude. Suffice to say he has a lot of work ahead of him if he wishes to be a medic, but Daisuke believes that on the battlefield his fellow shinobi are going to want him to be blunt any way so he isn’t going to change just to fit the status quo.
Daisuke loves his village and the villagers who call it home. It isn’t the sort of intense love that bears fanatics, but just the sort of appreciation one has for their hometown. Takigakure contains the villages he has grown up beside and many more that Daisuke has yet to properly meet or talk to. Although not everyone’s life in Kumo has been as good as Daisuke’s the shinobi would like to give the chance for future generations the same chance at a life like his own. It is this hope that has made him fiercely loyal to his village and has pushed him to work hard every day into becoming the sort of shinobi who can aid his village. At the moment he doesn’t have any lofty ambitions such as becoming the next Kage, he just wants to help for now. - Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Allegiance: To His Patients and To Takigakure no Sato
- Quirks & Tendencies: Daisuke has one odd quirk that has earned him a wide assortment of reactions from others. The shinobi has a bad habit of taking a swig of water and then forgetting to swallow before he speaks. Many a person has gotten grossed out as water flowed out of his mouth while he spoke.
