THE RENGOKU ORGANIZATION

The Rengoku Organization has been following up on the number of applications it will be accepting. With the waning of its profitability, the company is resorting to desperate measures in an attempt to avoid bankruptcy as well as raising the chances of becoming an actual profitable endeavor. With most of the executives around simply due to their loyalty to Honda Warui, they are deploying a new set of contracts in an attempt to entice would be employees. With little to no bodies left, opening up new jobs is the best way to achieve the success that Rengoku was once known for. The missions below are strictly for the conglomerate.

Description: A very simple mission designated to those who are either new to the company, or still in training. Whether it be in the form of writing a letter, making a radio transmission, or actually tracking down and finding the contract they have been assigned to locate, the partaker of this mission will only be asked to do so with contracts residing in their current location.
Restrictions: Requires at least 1 able body. Repeatable indefinitely.

Supplemental Internship
Rank: D
Description: An internship for The Rengoku Organization is no where near as coveted as it once might have been. With the waning reputation of the organization, it has been limited to very short internships, lasting only a small period of time; samples if you will. With this mission, one will take a day to understand the mission of The Rengoku Organization, and learn the necessary skills needed to actually work for the company. From there, further tasks, positions and perks will be unlocked.
Restrictions: Requires at least 1 able body. Non-Repeatable.

Supplemental Fellowship
Rank: D
Description: After having proven oneself during their internship, the intern with the highest marks will be eligible to become an official fellow. While this may not have as many perks as an actual employee of the company, you nonetheless work for The Rengoku Organization, and have access to its history, minor resources and employees. All members of all Rengoku staff have started as an official fellow, learning more about the organization, its purpose, assets and methods through the processes.
Contract: Once this mission has begun, one can make threads which will depict them 'at work.' Each work day done will be considered a successful mission. This also allows access to C Rank Missions.
Restrictions: Requires at least 1 able body. Repeatable until 'Welcome to the Team' mission is complete.

Insurance Parole
Rank: C
Description: The Rengoku Organization deals with an incredible amount of contracted workers and mercenaries. While some of them are doing jobs which are a lot more strenuous than others, it is our job as a benefactor to make sure that they are happy and healthy enough to get the job done, as it is our reputation on the line as well. This mission will require that we aid any of our contracts in any way that they see fit, whether it be trouble with a manager, help around the house or helping them with a difficult task, we will be sure to follow through with them.
Restrictions: Requires at least 1 able body. Repeatable.

Asset Recognition
Rank: C
Description: While our contracts are our primary method of making money, we also have to protect the assets that are going to stick around. This mission will require the fellow to improve the revenue for ANY signed subsidiary under The Rengoku Organization umbrella. Whether it be one of the many micro-financed businesses, or even one of the 5 official subsidiary groups, assisting them in making more money will show true loyalty to the company. Whether it be helping a sheep rancher sheer his sheep, or putting up posters for a new restaurant, whatever you need to do to help them make money, do it!
Restrictions: Requires at least 1 able body. Repeatable.

Welcome to the Team
Rank: C
Description: After showing your hard work, and working your way up the ranks, it is time for you to be recognized as an official employee of The Rengoku Organization! By signing a contract with the conglomerate, you have immediate access to all perks permitted by the various offices. This includes a free stay at any Rengoku owned facility, access to archives, a free banking account, and depending on your position, a free uniform or business suit. The Organization takes care of its employees, ranking number 3 in the happiest corporate employees for the passed three years!
Contract: Once this mission has begun, one can make threads which will depict them 'at work.' Each work day done will be considered a successful mission. This also allows access to B and A Rank Missions. Must have completed at least 10 Rengoku missions thusfar to be eligible.

Description: As stated before, The Rengoku Organization cares for its employees, and loves to see its assets flourish. However, there are some contracted assets that simply do not respond well to the aid, or direction given to them from our corporate response teams. When an asset has clearly disregarded our assistance, or has taken our money with no means to invest it, we must take action to recover our investment. In this instance, it will be your job to ensure that they understand that The Rengoku Organization does not take negligence lightly. Rough them up a bit, and show them that we mean business, take some thugs with you if necessary. We will not be made a mockery of.

Bridges Best Burned

Description: While you have done well during your time with us, we wish that we could say everyone was the same. There are a number of employees that simply do not respect the company in the same way that you have. Not showing up for work, failing a considerable amount of tasks that we assign, or just not responding well to authority; we cannot have a weak link in this company, no matter how small. We need you to pull the trigger and terminate all of the employees that have not been pulling their weight. We suggest taking someone with you, as not everyone will respond well to being told that they wont be getting severance pay. Just be safe.

Description: As an official employee, you have had access to our archives, libraries and facilities. By now you should have been able to pick up on certain things that we either lack, or have been looking for. We need you to come up with a system that will benefit the company in the long-term. Whether it be a security program, an interesting weapon, a new uniform or perhaps a new facility, we want to hear your ideas in detail. Describe them to your supervisor, and lets get the ball rolling. Of course, after you've given us the idea we will own it, but we won't hesitate to slap your name on it!

Description: Are those contracts still not listening to you? It's time to take the next step. They have one last chance to be convinced before we completely pull out and forget that the relationship ever happened. Find the contract who has been exploiting us, and shut them down- for good. Just make sure nothing leads back to us, and make it look like an accident or something.

Marketability Conference

Description: You've had some great numbers these passed few weeks. We're proud of you, and we're ready to give you an executive position... but we just have to make sure that you're worth it. Sure, you can get the job done, but how does your managing skill stack up? Get out there, and make sure that every department is using your secret to success. This is a business, and that runs on a team. We have no room for a hot shot. If you can't get the numbers up for at least one of our branches, contracts or subsidiaries, then we can't ensure you that promotion. We don't want to see that, and we know you don't either. Get out there and help those teams brainstorm!

Acquisition of Power

Description: So you've finally done it. You've proven yourself as one of the best employees that this company has seen in a very long time. Warui would be proud. In fact, we mentioned your name to him, and he said that he would love to meet you. This might be that big promotion that you were looking for... an executive position! Make your way up to the CPO's office and knock his socks off. If you play your cards right, you might get that promotion, and a chance to create your own office! As a department head, you would be on the multi-affairs board, and would be allowed complete creative control over your department. Taking advantage of the position, The Rengoku Organization will hear your proposal, and do what it takes to see that the department is a good fit for the organization.

Description: You've made it this far, and that is a feat within itself. However, if you are actually considering yourself worthy of the title of 'executive' then you need to show that you deserve it. Aside from running the long term operations of the organization, you are also weighted with the burden of dealing with our competition. We have an untold amount of competition on the market, all of which creating a remarkable amount of product, with new ideas and new marketing schemes. It's great to have a little competitive edge... but it's far more profitable to not. We want a complete monopoly over every field that we have decided to invest in. It is your job to take us one step closer to that by eliminating the competition that dares to challenge us. This isn't as simple as eliminating a factor, or a company's higher ups; we want complete demolition of this company and all of its assets. If its assets are salvageable, then make sure that they benefit the company... if they aren't? Burn them.

Description: Aside from creating a dynasty, we are also attempting to spread our influence. As you might know, the Rengoku organizations contracts have waned exponentially over the passed few years. The best place to re-instate our influence is to make sure that we are the sole provider for any given country and its government. That means that we will provide their soldiers with weapons, armor, transport, medical tools, medicine and training. If we can secure a contract with a Daimyo, we will open ourselves up for an untold amount of money, marketing and general influence. This is a very important mission, so it may take some time and some schmoozing, but we're sure you can get the job done.
Restrictions: Requires at least 1 able body. Limited to amount of active countries. Daimyo must be played by GM.

Dogma

Description: Ninja villages are in a way a very powerful competitor for the organization. While we do not necessarily consider ourselves in the same arena, we are nonetheless both in the employ of the free market. Where any one can purchase a ninja for a job, just the same, anyone can purchase The Rengoku Organization contracts for a job. However, these villages are sanctioned under the rule of the Daimyo that they serve under. If we can somehow find a way to wedge ourselves into the eye of the ninja village leaders, then maybe we can not only make ourselves symbiotic to the village's profit, but also introduce a new training regiment to our troops and theirs. This will be a very precise and complicated mission, so you will have plenty of room to choose what sort of contract that would be best for both parties. Don't fail us... we rarely get a chance such as this.

THE RENGOKU ORGANIZATION SUBSIDIARIES

While the main conglomerate is in need of dire assistance, there is still a massive amount of money to be made with its subsidiaries as well. While some jobs are much more difficult considering the market for them, others have a very wide margin for creativity, allowing those interested in the company a way to show that they are interested in the company's well being.

Rengoku International

Description: Rengoku International has a growing reputation. While it has never been a 'go-to' for just about anything in the medical field, it has always been a reliable, and inexpensive brand name. For that reason, we will try a different marketing route. Your job is simple: find a hospital that will buy our products exclusively. While they may not be willing to use our product for EVERYTHING, if we can get them to only purchase Rengoku tweezers, or Rengoku bedframes, that should do the trick. Public hospitals will be a bit easier given the number of contracts that they purchase, and the reduction that they get in their wholesale purchase. If you can get us a private hospital contract, we will see that you are paid more for your hard work. [C for Public, B for Private]

Description: The creation of the Soldier Pill has changed the combat world. When that pill was made, the entire green collar community almost couldn't live without it. The Rengoku Organization has made some products similar to it in the past, but now with such a mainstream product, it is time that we branched out into something new. We need you to make a new product for us; something that will change the world. We will fund our experiments and see to it that you are paid well for your effort. Just know, that we will own the product after you have created it, however.

Description: If you've been able to sell contracts to hospitals, then this should be fairly simple for you. With government troops in constant threats of danger, and with the threat of war escalating daily, it is evident that medical supplies is something that the governments need the most. If we could wedge our way into the right position as to sell our product to these government medical organizations, then we will have solidified a long term contract with a very big spending client.

Description: Our job here at the RBO is very simple, and he company essentially pays for itself. Our normal day to day business is as easy as investigating applications and giving loans to those who are worthy of the investment. If they are worth the credit, why not give it to them? They will return the investment anyway. Do some research on applications, and if they make the cut, approve them!

Description: Every once in a while, we'll get some characters that really shouldn't be doing anything with the RBO's money. However, they ahve slipped through our systems and have taken our money under the false pretenses that they will be profitable. When that situation comes, the solution is simple. Get out there, and get our money back. It's probably easiest to take a small group and scare them until they return the money, but in some cases, if you bribe them a little bit, you might be able to get them to shut down without any fuss.

Description: While we don't like those who cannot return our investment, we love those that succeed with our investment! Do some research and find what business that we have recently funded are doing well. If you can find some that are making good numbers, then you should do your best to make sure that they can become a lesser subsidiary of the conglomerate. If they are making a product, tell them that we can take the reigns and offer them a nice severance deal.

Description: Our banking business could stand to do better. However, the main issue that slows us down is that we are simply not accessible to anyone who would ever be willing to open an account with us. We aren't even open in the larger cities on the continent. We need able bodies to investigate the best locations for new Banking branches, and oversee the process of building it. You should be able to find the specified schematics of the buildings in the archives. Make sure you find employees for the company as well, we want to make sure everyone knows The Rengoku Organization is an equal opportunity employer!
Contract: For every account opened at a specified branch, the founder of the branch will receive 1K ryou added to their salary.

Description: Once we have set up a significant amount of branches around the continent, it will be clear that we will have competition from other banks. As we've said before, we don't do very well with competition. Your job here is to eliminate an opposing bank branch anywhere close to our branches. If the bank has been there for a long period of time? Burn it. If a bank is just starting up, and seeks to compete with us? Ruin it. Spare no one, and pay no mind to any sob stories about the history of these businesses. Money has no ears. Before you go, if you find that any of these banks have potential to be bought out by us? Make it happen, as long as our competition is completely eliminated.

Description: This is a big task compared to our previous requests. While you may have done well to make Rengoku Banks appear much more accessible to the public, the fact of the matter is that we do not hold a monopoly over the banking market. Currently there are no laws against monopolies, nor is there a government banking system. If we can demolish all other banking systems in a specific country, we will have complete control over the country's finances aside from private holdings. If we can accomplish a feat such as this, then we will be able to compare to the RBO in profitability. Let's make it happen, and make the Iron Honda proud!

This isn't the best way to do business, but we aren't really that great at 'business.' Get the job done, and we can make sure that we can put the product on the market and make a decent net profit for the quarter.

The Big Blind

Description: We cannot take time to deal with the hustle and bustle that comes with war time technology. As a science and technologies firm, we do a decent amount of engineering, while mostly doing research and experimentation. However, from our findings we have discovered quite a remarkable amount of things that can be released to the public if need be. However, there have been many people impressed by our findings that may need them for selfish reasons. That isn't our concern. Go out and get some buyers for our product. While we have gotten some attention from various warlords, we want to get out of that market and focus on Daimyo's of smaller countries. Sell some of our product to them for distribution, and we can see what we can do for your paycheck.

Being an international organization it should be simple for us to appear and rescue just about any militia at any time and give them health in the way that the shinobi do. Our goal for this mission is to make sure that we can work with the shinobi of a certain village to either recruit them to work for the RG, or to teach certain members of our force the secrets of their medical technique for later use.

THE RENGOKU ORGANIZATION PRIVATE MISSIONS

The Rengoku Organization has been headed by one man since its creation. Needless to say, there are many employees that would like to see a drastic change occur. The missions under this section are completely black, and as such will never be known by the public, and can only be done by sleeper agents and double agents, who have pled 100% loyalty to the conglomerate. Therefore, these cannot be contracted to the public.
