Caught in the initial phase of preadolescence, Sae Ryun is not yet considered 'attractive' by the opposite sex; any shred of appeal he might have is immediately discouraged by the boy's inability to form expressions beyond apathy and annoyance. Fortunately, he does not suffer the misfortune of having his voice crack at the most inopportune moments, already settling into the comfortably low timber of a male several years his senior. Seeing very little action beyond the gates of Konoha to this point, and with Academy training being no substitute for the real thing, he currently lacks the scars that will inevitably define his profession.

Due to limited (zero) attempts to communicate with his peers and fellow Leaf-nin, less than a handful of individuals have anything to say about Sae Ryun beyond the words "quiet" and "pensive"; he cannot refute these claims either. Keeping his own company over others when given a choice, he is nonetheless still capable of working well-enough in a group to accomplish an assigned objective. He rarely initiates conversation, and avoids engaging in 'small talk' like the plague. Further interaction on a much more regular basis is required to uncover what makes him 'tick', so to speak.

Special: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.

Description: A powerful jutsu intended to call forth aid when in dire need, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon a a variety of entities and items meant to assist them in a dire situation. Keep in mind each summoning in question requires a previous contract to be filled out. At 'D' rank, the ink cloud spans a diameters of 10 meter; each rank higher increases the size by 10 more meters. Can be held as long as the clan member can sustain it in terms of chakra.
Description: A strange method of manipulating the artistic styles of the Li Clan, the user will first paint a raincloud and then, by performing the correct handseals, will have the cloud rise out of the canvas and up into the air, fifty meters above the user. The raincloud will spread out and then begin raining ink upon everyone below it. The raincloud, as it is made out of ink, will be a solid black in color. At the end of the ink rain the cloud will dissipate, revealing the weather conditions exactly as they were. If the cloud was painted with any special Li ink, the falling rain from the ink cloud maintains those same properties.

Sumi Nenshou [Burning Ink]

Sumi Secchakuzai [Sticky Ink]

Description: Performing the right handseals, the user gathers chakra and infuses it with a pre-selected portion of ink. This causes it to become very, very sticky, giving it adhesive properties, almost like glue.

Shimi no Jutsu [Staining Technique]

Special: Stain is delivered through any means the Li member can as long as it is used from special Li clan ink - regardless of ink volume used, as long as the victim is touched by the ink consistently for a whole turn, the stain bind is complete. Strength of stain is determined by the user's highest rank in Gahou Tenrai, meaning the ink bond can only be destroyed by a chakra surge high ranked than the stain, such as Bijuu power of the Eight Gates.
Description: After striking the opponent with some sort of ink, the user will perform the Ram handseal. The ink will then soak into the object, whether it be fabric, solid, or even human skin. In such a way, the ink becomes impossible to remove, much like a tattoo. This way, a Li shinobi is capable of marking something and ensuring that they will be able to find that marking at a later time, the item possess the unique Li clan chakra.

Sumigasumi no Jutsu [Ink Mist Technique]

Special: Completely covers the user in a cocoon of ink with special chakra that makes it impossible for chakra sensing doujutsu or even sensors to perceive chakra influxes occurring within the cocoon; that is, while a sensor can feel a lump of chakra from the ink, or a doujutsu such as Sharingan or Byakugan can see the lump, they cannot see nor sense what occurs within. As such, clan members have been infamous for using this to escape the battlefield via high-speed techniques, or even provided a sudden attack. Description: The user performs the needed handseals and infuses their chakra with dabs of ink at their disposal. It will swirl up into the air and spread out, effectively working like a smoke screen to mask the shinobi from sight. Useful when the shinobi needs to make a quick escape, or even a sudden attack.

Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu [Ink Clone Technique]

Description: Gathering chakra, the user will then perform the correct handseals. Injecting that chakra into masses of ink, the user is then capable of forming that ink into a perfect likeness of his or herself. The clones, since they are made of ink, retain any special property that the ink has.

Sumi Shourei no Jutsu [Ink Message Technique]

Special: Animal creation retains traveling properties of said animal. If the object that is supposed to deliver the message is destroyed, then the message is gone. Can only be sent to a thread that is in the same country, no further. Upon reaching the proper target and being read, the ink creation is destroyed and gone forever. Up to one message can be sent before being read and destroyed, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: The user paints a message or letter onto a scroll. Suddenly, the message pops up from the scroll in the shape of an animal. The user tells the animal where to go and the animal does as it is told. Once it arrives, it delivers the message by reattaching itself to another scroll, piece of paper, or any hard surface, therefore revealing the message. The user can also create multiple versions of the message, or pieces of the same message.
