Gekimetsu Fuuin (Destructive Sealing)
Rank: D, C, B , A, S
Type: Passive / Fuuinjutsu / General
Special: In order to produce variations of destructive seals, one must first understand the very nature of producing destruction chakra and containing it within a seal. Highest rank known establishes the rank of destructive seals a user may perform. Without this, it is impossible to learn any specific types of Destructive Sealing.
Description: The idea of destructive sealing involves containing a negative, damaging type of chakra within an essence, so that when triggered, the seal unleashes all of this power at once onto whatever has set the seal off.
Domain: Fuuinjutsu.



Uchikesu Fuuin (Negation & Absorption Sealing)

Special: In order to produce variations of negation and absorption seals, one must first understand the very nature of producing negation and absorption chakra and containing it within a seal. Highest rank known establishes the rank of negation and absorption seals a user may perform. Without this, it is impossible to learn any specific types of Negation & Absorption Sealing.
Description: The idea of negation and absorption sealing involves creating vacuums of chakra that can either absorb a certain a type of energy for the benefit of the Sealist, or shut down a certain function with an opposing force. The idea behind this training is to understand the flow of a preexisting chakra source in order to either enhance it or diffuse it.

Jikuukan Fuuin (Space-Time Sealing)

Type: Passive / Fuuinjutsu / General
Special: In order to produce variations of space-time altering seals, one must first understand the very nature of producing space-time chakra and containing it within a seal. Highest rank known establishes the rank of space-time seals a user may perform. Without this, it is impossible to learn any specific types of Space-Time Sealing.
Description: The idea of manipulating space-time involves techniques that allow their users to manipulate the space–time continuum to their will by exerting a specific amount and shape of chakra, all at once in the form of a triggered seal. By manipulating a specific point of space, the user can warp anything targeted into a dimensional void and teleport it to another location instantaneously, or vice-versa. These kinds of seals are rare, and as such, rarely see the light of day due to their capacity and drain on the user.

Fukko Fuuin (Restoration & Boost Sealing)

Type: Passive / Fuuinjutsu / General
Special: In order to produce variations of restoration and boosting seals, one must first understand the very nature of producing restorative chakra and containing it within a seal. Highest rank known establishes the rank of restoration & boosting seals a user may perform. Without this, it is impossible to learn any specific types of Restoration & Boosting Sealing.
Description: Restorative and Boosting Sealing allows the Sealist to prepare a seal with a positive effect towards those it influences. Whether restoring ones health via their wounds, or providing them with more sudden chakra, the boost and restoration is made with the intent of saving whomever receives its graces!

Reijuu Fuuin (Enslavement Sealing)

Type: Passive / Fuuinjutsu / General
Special: In order to produce variations of enslavement seals, one must first understand the very nature of producing enslavement chakra and containing it within a seal. Highest rank known establishes the rank of enslavement seals a user may perform. Without this, it is impossible to learn any specific types of Enslavement Sealing.
Description: Enslavement Sealing deals with any seal that produces a form of control upon the one being to have activated it. Strong enough to hold that being against their will, these seals can control many aspects of a victim, from their speech and their memory, to their very thoughts and past. In the hands of the most skilled, armies of eternally devoted followers have been produced at the hands of these seals.

Shouheki Fuuin (Barrier & Prison Sealing)

Type: Passive / Fuuinjutsu / General
Special: In order to produce variations of barrier and prison seals, one must first understand the very nature of producing barrier chakra and containing it within a seal. Highest rank known establishes the rank of barrier and prison seals a user may perform. Without this, it is impossible to learn any specific types of Barrier & Prison Sealing.
Description: Producing a barrier or prison in the form of a Seal is not the easiest of tasks to do, requiring the user to master art of producing intricate, entrapping waves of chakra strong enough to overcome the target while still being packeted off in the form of a small seal. If even the slightest part of the incantation is off, there is a chance the prison won't be formed in its true sense.

Reiryoku Fuuin (Spiritual Sealing)

Special: In order to produce variations of spiritual seals, one must first understand the very nature of producing spiritual chakra and containing it within a seal. Highest rank known establishes the rank of spiritual seals a user may perform. Without this, it is impossible to learn any specific types of Spiritual Sealing.
Description: Like Space-Time sealing, spiritual sealing is one of the rarer forms of sealing, allowing the Sealist whose achieved enough training to unlock the power of mingling spirits beyond the mortal plan into their technique. From beings of energy to judgmental ghosts, these techniques are few and far between, but deservedly so.
Domain: Fuuinjutsu.

I was wondering if there was a reason to their disappearance or if it was an accident.

It was not an accident. Sealing was re-tooled to better fit what staff thought was a more appropriate way of dealing with Fuuinjutsu as a whole.

Their requirements are still listed in the seals that are in the thread, is there going to be a new limit for individual seals? Also, following the flow of the question, could you explain how fuuinjutsu has been changed? It doesn't look any different. Smaller, maybe.

It was an oversight by Genbu when he condensed the passives into singular base techniques, but i'll be fixing that shortly. Fuuinjutsu was mostly changed by actually adding...fuuinjutsu. The meat and potatoes of techniques that previously were just broad descriptions of what things did. But customs is always open and if there's something you want to add, feel free to submit it. The biggest change was just in its utility.
