Samurai Power Armor- War Machine[/b]

Special: Because of the heavy nature of the armor, all Taijutsu performed in conjunction with the samurai's body armor (punch, kick, etc.) will carry bonus damage based on the armor's base rank. Cannot be purchased by non-Samurai unless in black market. Can only be purchased in Iron, and can be repaired only by using parts of another set of Samurai Power Armor.
Description: A full body suit of armor created strictly for samurai based off traditional designs mixed in with modern technology. Akin to traditional ancient samurai armor, the Kanji for "Bushido" is carved in the chest plate and back, and the whole body is protected with many strong layers of plated steel. The secret use of this armor is that, although heavy, it feeds off of the Samurai's special seal, which gushes raw chakra into the armor in order to make the otherwise impossible to move heavy armor as smooth and gentle as a cloth. There's only one place an armor like this can be made - Iron.

This specific piece of armor is a newer creation branded by the Samurai for their continued fight for peace. The armor includes more features than the standard "A" rank set, at the cost of a lessened defense. The functionality of this set comes with weapons. Nearly each piece contains mechanisms to store and deploy weaponry available at the notion of the user's chakra. This set of armor comprises more traditional Samurai custom and tradition of relying less on unnatural substance, and more upon tactics, willpower, and technology that transcribed the olden days before ninja. The creation borrows considerable technology from ninja puppetry.

OOC Note: It is to the buyer's responsibility to keep track of the amount of attachments on this armor, usages left, and the creativity of said attachments deploying. Such as, the user may include a vacuum within the palm of the armor, and then have a katana in the forearm which pivots into position near the wrist, though both are considered "wrist" attachments.

1/2 Denied. You cannot make your samurai armor into iron man/a puppet. Just...no. Nothing personal, just really not a fan of any part of the idea/concept of this, and don't see how it would work at all.

Not that I fully expected this, moreso just threw the idea around, because if I don't I doubt anyone will, but before this gets a 2/2, I just want to know exactly what would be wrong with the armor, besides the fact that it is odd.

By combining these two concepts, the puppet and the samurai, you devalue both as their own separate concepts. There is no point to being a samurai, or to being a puppeteer, if you can suddenly have the best of both worlds. You are a samurai, not a puppet. Outside of the fact that merely 'equipping' low-grade samurai armor in order to be able to shoot off an arsenal of weaponry from hidden contraptions, quite literally, goes completely against every single idea that defines what Samurai are, this is also impractical and would only serve as a liability in combat. Suddenly having the chakra properties which normally reduce the amount of weight you'd experience beneath your own armor and allow you natural freedom of movement be removed completely in order to add EVEN MORE weight on top of what ALREADY would weigh you down too much to conceivably do anything but trudge around aimlessly until someone tipped you over, makes very little sense. The very fact that you are a samurai means you should not be dealing with senbon, kunai, explosives, cannons, vacuums, and definitely not an afterburner, thrusters, or a tail. This is simply doing way too much, in far too impractical of a manner to do anything other than have you die as you fidget around for one of your 1000 possible tactical maneuvers to backfire while you're trapped in an iron shell.

• The concept wouldn't truly be a best of both worlds scenario considering that this set would only be able to use pieces of Puppetry to enhance what they already have. Its kind of the same idea that the current Samurai were aided by Uzumaki to become more competent on a ninja's level. I imagine if you see your foes improving and know they have components to make yourselves better, you would attempt to copy those components. Thats what this is about. But it would hardly be fully combining Puppets and Samurai.
  
• The chakra armor doesn't weigh the Samurai down at all. It's been compared to "fabric" in fact. I would maybe compromise so far as to say that the attached pieces would weigh the armor down, but I imagined that those would be influenced by the same chakra that makes the armor as a whole weightless. And even with the components added, the average Samurai would still be carrying about the same as a ninja in terms of kunai and such.
  
• I see the point that perhaps Samurai would not believe it among their code to fight with such things, but it isn't as though they had never fought at a distance. Actual Samurai used bows, guns, and cannons, and with the advent of the Naruto-aged ninja that can (to name a few) fly, walk on water, and create large explosions, I'd think they'd very much take non-traditional steps to keeping within the game. Because otherwise they as a force would be submitting the strength they had.
  
  
  
• Understand I'm not trying to fight vehemently to get the custom through, I didn't make this with a 100% intention of it passing. But nothing seems practically wrong. If staff denies it, so be it, I just want the point across. Should it be 2/2'd so be it.

I'm glad you broke it down that way. The purpose of creating customs is to introduce something unique and new and/or to fill a need. "Enhancing what they already have" is absolutely unnecessary for both groups.

I'm aware that it doesn't weigh the samurai down at all. But 'imagining' that it would be influenced by the same chakra that makes the armor as a whole weightless, when its specific purpose would be to circumvent the entire need for weightless armor (freedom of range/movement for swordplay) would be quite ridiculous.

The fact that it would not be in accordance with their code, on top of the fact that using guns and cannons was a response to enemies who utilized guns and cannons, on top of the fact that they have a seal which allows them to form chakra into swords with twice the normal chakra capacity of a normal person which equates to the 'steps' they took to 'keep within the game', makes what you've posted unnecessary.


Everything listed above, is what's practically wrong with it.

Sorry Tyro, I do have to agree with the Naitome's second comment explaining why he thought it should be denied. Not gonna repeat him, but I really do think it too out of a Samurai's domain, whether it is considered 'unique' or not.
