Description:
The user performs several series of hand seals and releases a sheet of paper at a location of choice. This paper has been imbued with the explosive property of the Shikigami, and rather than relying on assault, the technique had been designed for trickery. The paper can be placed anywhere, the ground, trees, or even a weapon. Once an enemy comes within two meters of the paper, the explosion is triggered automatically, using the proximity as a trigger.

The user is immune to this effect as long as he does not move due to the Shikigami affinity for paper. Anyone else in the area, including friendly targets, will be affected regardless of whether or not they move.

Description: By utilizing their immense analytical ability, the practitioner is able to spot out a weak point in fabric made equipment. With just a quick strike they can disrobe an opponent, causing embarrassment, an impediment in fighting ability as well as a general loss of gear. Description: How does one compete in combat if they have no way to stop a charging opponent? As well, what does one do if their fighting their friend and wish not to harm him, yet still want to win. In those circumstances Push Point works perfectly. By driving their sword forward and then quickly pulling back they generate force without piercing the enemy. This push and pulled force causes the enemy to move back varying degrees and can become quite the annoyance when used properly.

Keep in mind that if the first strike lands the rest almost always will, but subsequently, if the first misses, then most likely so will the rest as they are near-instant in terms of occurance time.
Description: One of the stand points of the Gentleman's Art is it's mastery of quick thrusting strikes. A hallmark of the style and possibly the most dangerous aspect, outside of counters. Such techniques allow the user to fit several attacks in the span of time another would only be able to make one.

Description: The most basic of all deflection techniques, a simple smacking away with a bit of force. Made possible by a combination of a strong wrist movement, firm grip and the design of a slender sword. When confronted with a basic level attack, the user watches the direction it's coming and simply taps it a bit to send it of course. Once moved, this leaves an immediate opening for the user to strike with their own technique.

Special: A technique in which the user applies their melee countering abilities to a ranged threat. By watching the trajectory in which it approaches and the velocity it travels at, the user deduces the proper form and amount of push to send the object hurling safely away from them. The user's 'Exquisite Counter' rank determines the distance they can possibly deflect, with the 'D' rank starting at 10 meters, and each extra rank adding 10 more. Deflecting moves in a straight line whereever the user aims, and retains the same speed it originally carried on its way to the user. Can deflect up to one (1) object, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: A practiced technique that allows the user to transfer what they know about blocking melee attacks on to deflecting away ranged ones. The tricky part comes with learning how to judge speed and angle but that comes with time. Eventually the user learns how to whip their sword about in a way that stops most things in the air from reaching them.

Special: The rank of Keiyaku Fuuin known determines the rank of the summoned creature that can be sealed. The 'S' rank of this technique is capable of sealing a summoning family's Sage. The user of this seal does not gain the ability to use the sealed summon. Likewise, the effects are set onto a particular summon, so if the target summons a different creature from the same tree the seal will have to be reapplied.
Description: After performing a set of handseals, the user must focus chakra into their dominant hand and place their palm upon the target. A quick connection is made between the two chakra systems and the seal is activated, removing the target's control over their summoned creature for a short time. Description: The user unravels a scroll and writes the needed sealing incantation upon it, leaving a space in the center blank. After performing the needed handseals, vapor appears from the scroll and envelops the element that the user is trying to seal, sucking it inside. The kanji for seal (封) appears in the center, certifying the technique's completion. To activate the scroll at a later time, the user imbibes the scroll with a Low amount of chakra and breaks the seal. The sealed element is then released, perfect for circumventing damage from a dangerous enemy.

The main entrance, as chosen by the Seal's user, is marked with one tag, and four other tags are located within a fixed, close perimeter of the original. To remove the barrier, all five tags must be removed at the same moment. Using any kind of physical attack to try and destroy something in the barrier is folly, as it will only lead to injury, where the barrier re-directs the destructive force of an incoming attack back out towards its user.

Description: The user unravels a scroll and writes the needed sealing incantation upon it, leaving a space in the center blank. After performing the needed handseals, vapor appears from the scroll and envelops the element that the user is trying to seal, sucking it inside. Description: Gofuu Kekkai is a Barrier type Fuuinjutsu utilized to keep unwanted agents away from a specific area. The five "kin", or prohibition seals, act together to form a very strong barrier. The main entrance, as chosen by the Seal's user, is marked with one tag, and four other tags are located within a fixed, close perimeter of the original. To remove the barrier, all five tags must be removed at the same moment. Using any kind of physical attack to try and destroy something in the barrier is folly, as it will only lead to injury, where the barrier re-directs the destructive force of an incoming attack back out towards its user.

Description: This technique paralyses an opponent for a brief amount of time. The user performs the required hand seals, then places their hand on their opponent. Even a light touch is sufficient. A black '+' shape will appear on the opponent's body where contact was made. Immediately, short black lines will spread out from the initial mark, covering the victim's limbs. The opponent's body will be frozen in mid-motion as the muscles are forcibly locked into position by the seal's chakra, leaving them totally paralyzed until the seal wears off.
