Isamu's body is what you would expect of an agile boy and samurai. He has been undergoing rigorous training -- both mental and physical - since he was able to hold a weapon. Being the grandson of the Shogun, Isamu has had access to the most elite training the Samurai have to offer, and his body has begun to take shape as you'd expect. He has long, agile limbs and his body is covered in lean muscle, his focus on speed and technique slowly but surely crafting the perfect swordsman's build.

His most notable trait is his unusual hair colour; being a deep blue, it has somewhat become his trademark. He has grown his hair out since birth, often wearing it back in a ponytail so he doesn't obstruct his view. As for clothing, he usually wears a traditional black and red kimono, usually accessorised with a long scarf around his neck and a pair of wooden clogs. He has yet to earn his power armour, but he trains every day, eager to become a full-fledged Samurai.

— Prologue;

Isamu's family history has ultimately been what has shaped him into the man he is becoming. Being the direct descendant of the Shogun - the legendary Monzaemon - he has known a life of privilege and dedication. With the death of his parents and his sister, Isamu has always lead a sheltered life, samurai being assigned to guard him ever since he was young, always following him (even when he'd try to lose them!). His Grandfather is fiercely protective, and has taken it upon himself to train Isamu personally, and as you could imagine being trained by literally the most fearsome swordsman in the world has its perks!

Quickly on his way to becoming a full-fledged Samurai, Isamu tries his best to learn from his Grandfather, aspiring to be as strong as he is some day - and although a bit of a long shot, it's easy to see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, being a master swordsman at the age of 15. Isamu is almost ready to take on the world and do his duty as a Samurai, to uphold the Hoshimitsu name and to make his family proud - he just has to find the perfect balance between teenage stupidity and becoming the greatest swordsman he can be!

Special: Essentially doubles the Samurai's chakra capacity when activated by opening their chakra pathways, in a somewhat similar way to Hachimontonkou (although less barbaric). However, because of this, it prevents Samurai from molding chakra finely in terms of jutsu, making handseals and whatnot useless due to the sudden chakra rush. Upon being accepted as a Samurai, this seal is place on the user. Cannot be bought and instead must be RP'ed out as part of the Samurai's initiation.
Description: The Seal of the Bladed Warrior was the Samurai founder's secret to attaining a new level of power. Knowledge borrowed from their neighboring chakra experts, Whirlpool, the Samurai Clan developed a seal that would ensure the self-preservation of all Samurai, as well as their place in new history. By binding an advanced seal at the core of their chakra network directly after birth, the Samurai essentially created a steady, sustained flow of pure, raw chakra. Constantly feeding outwards and unable to be turned off, this sudden increase in their chakra output allows them to remain on par with their shinobi counterparts by producing a combination of raw, powerful attacks with their traditional Bushido, at the cost of being unable to create seals and mold chakra properly due to the pressure of the surging energy. The seal itself is a combination of ancient kanji and other shapes, and is usually placed on the chest.

Special: This is the basis for all Naideshou Gonyuu techniques, allowing the user to branch into more complex and intricate methods. Beyond that, however, the user can coat their weapon in a loosely compacted “sheath” of chakra, serving as a buffer between the sword and technique which require contact to activate. This ‘buffer’ automatically drains chakra from the user equivalent to the technique it connects with.
Description: The most innate and basic of all Samurai abilities, this technique acts as the base to all of the armored warriors chakra related abilities. Although samurai don't use handseals and jutsu, they nonetheless have learned to bypass seals as a medium for their chakra, using instead in its raw form and manipulating it to their bidding, usually in the form of an offensive weapon. As the Samurai grows more experienced with this technique, their creations become grander and grander.

  Special: This ability determines the strength (cutting power) of all sub-chakra techniques. Likewise, it determines how sharp they are capable of making their own sword.
  D: The d-rank version of this technique marginally increases the blade’s cutting strength, allowing easy passage through leather-based armor.
  C: The c-rank version of this technique moderately increases the blade’s cutting strength, allowing it to easily dig into steel-based armor.
  B: The b-rank version of this technique greatly increases the blade’s cutting strength, allowing easy passage through steel armor and weaponry (up to six inches thick).
  A: The a-rank version of this technique vastly increases the blade’s cutting strength, allowing easy passage through large obstructions (such as trees, boulders, concrete, etc up to two feet thick).
  S: The s-rank version of this technique increases the blade’s cutting strength to peerless levels. At this rank, the sword can effortlessly pass through elementary chakra-infused barriers (equivalent to the blade’s length) and any other man-made materials.

Description: Now that the samurai has gotten familiar with creating bladed chakra weaponry with and without the assistance of a base, they are able to propel their creations into a straight, linear form. Fast moving and dangerous, the chakra cutters rely their size, shape, strength and power entirely on how well the Samurai has honed and trained their chakra manipulations skills.

Taking the shape of weapon whatever the Samurai desires, the user's pure chakra maintains the weapon as long as there is enough chakra to fuel it.

Special: The intensity of this explosion, originating from the user’s blade, is equivalent to that of an explosive note. The size of the explosion generated begins at one meter, increasing by one additional meter for every rank learned (up to a maximum of five meters). This technique moves in the direction that the user aims their blade. Unfortunately, due to the focus required, this technique can only be used with the user’s physical sword (and does not apply to chakra creations or extensions). Likewise, this ability takes one full post to charge, and cannot be used in the same instance.
Description: The final step behind mastering the art of Chakra Form Manipulation involves reversing the flow paths of the absorption at such rapid rates that a sudden release of energy over the imminent build-up comes forth. This means that any chakra creation the Samurai makes, whether it comes in projectile form or extended from the user's blade, will explode on contact away from the Samurai and completely on their chosen target.

Regarded as an extremely flashy maneuver, it is also incredibly useful for offensive evasion, as the spinning motion of the user allows them to keep moving and avoid certain attacks.

The strikes are quick enough to believe one sees three blades slashing, not one and due to the erratic fashion of the technique, can be applied to multiple opponents or just one.

Description: Commencing from a standing position, the practitioner gathers a vast amount of focus into their mind, prepared to end the lives of those before him. Then, once the user has unsheathed his blade and focused his chakra into his body, the user then lunges forward rapidly, initiating a sequence of up to ten rapid, but precise attacks. The user and his blade moves like a storm, flashing from one attack to the next relentlessly, the opponents being unable to trace one indistinguishable attack from the next. This is one of the ultimate attacks of Kenjutsu, and relies on complete focus in order to perform the blur of motion correctly. Thought of as the antithesis of 'Hitosashi Tenrai', the two techniques have been known to completely counteract eachother, leaving behind an amazing spectacle of sparks and sword clashes.

Description: Through repeated duals, clashing of swords and study of adversaries, the user has gained an uncanny knack for analysis. This manifests itself in numerous ways, such as discovering hidden weaknesses, finding vulnerable points in both weapons and attire as well determining the opportune moment to strike by observing patterns.

Please keep in mind the deflection must be realistic, as it is impossible to redirect large, area covering objects or abstract concepts, such a meteors, giant monsters, streams of fire, lightning bolts, love, emotions, the meaning of life, sexuality, etc.
Description: The most basic of all deflection techniques, a simple smacking away with a bit of force. Made possible by a combination of a strong wrist movement, firm grip and the design of a slender sword. When confronted with a basic level attack, the user watches the direction it's coming and simply taps it a bit to send it of course. Once moved, this leaves an immediate opening for the user to strike with their own technique.
