Tier One - Crystalline Quartz: One of the most prominent strengths of a Shoton user's abilities is the fact that their techniques allow them to, essentially, terraform the battlefield. Their techniques do not wither away or vanish after they've been cast (like most techniques), which gives them a distinct advantage over their enemies. Taking advantage of this, every three posts, the user will be able to cause large "spikes" (roughly one meter large and half a meter wide) to protrude from any previously cast technique.
These spikes remain in play for the remainder of the thread, and retrain the offensive and defensive nature of the user's highest "Crystallization Commandment" rank known.
Tier Two - Peerless Cutting Edge: Crystal is, without a doubt, one of the sharpest substances in the world. Capable of being refined into extremely destructive edges and points, Shoton masters are considered unmatched in their craft. This mastery grants all crystal techniques unnatural sharpness, capable of slicing and piercing through any non-relic armor or weaponry.
Tier Three - Prismatic Absolution: At this level of crystal manipulation, the Shoton user realizes that their body possesses all of the materials needed to create their primary element: crystal. With this mastery, the user is capable of transforming their body into a translucent, crystalline structure for a maximum of five posts. Unfortunately, this is a rather strenuous process and takes a full post of "charging" to perform (this means no jutsu can be cast). Furthermore, while in this form, the user is incapable of using any jutsu for its duration. On the other hand, both the Tier One and Tier Two masteries are applicable to the user while in this state. In addition, the defensive properties of the user's highest known Crystallization Commandment applies to this user's form.
This unique ability puts an enormous strain on the body, and once deactivated, limits the user's Shoton abilities to c-rank and below (including their dominion range and defensive properties).

Special: Speed of crystallization and range of effect depends on the users highest 'Crystallization Commandment' rank. Requires no handseals to perform, but the 'charge' time and chakra consumption is equal to the jutsu one is trying to crystallize. Highest rank known determines the rank of the jutsu that can be crystallized. Can crystallize any non-living incoming physical substance to a molecular-level, completely halting any momentum. An extra 'Mid'+ Upkeep is required if the crystal is to be suspended in air after conversion. Can be used in conjunction with other known Shouton jutsu, or shattered on command by the user once converted.
Description: A terrifying and rare jutsu, only a true master of the Shouton release is capable of performing such a skill as this. This jutsu allows the user to crystallize any non-living physical substance they choose within their dominion in order to protect themselves from incoming jutsu. At the order of a moving hand, or even eye-contact, the user can crystallize an incoming attack completely turning it to their unique crystal near-instantly. When crystallized and converted by the users chakra, they can then use the newly formed crystal for their own uses, changing the tide of battle at any moment.

Shuisho Chuushabari Jeriki (Crystal Needle Restraint Explosion)

Special: Distance of technique where it can be activated depends on the users rank of Crystallization Commandment.
Description: After having binded the opponent with the Crystal Needle Restraint technique, the user will complete another string of handseals to cause the pillars to explode. The crystallized pillars explodes into tiny shrapnel, damaging the opponent's entire body and normally hindering their ability to properly use movements afterwards. This technique is normally used to help impair the opponent in order to set them up for an even stronger technique.

Special: Range for which the user can crystallize a victim depends on the user's 'Crystallization Command' rank. Up to one victim can be frozen per use, and this can be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained due to the strain for a maximum of five. Victim can only be freed by the following ways - [1] a surge of chakra all around them greater than the crystal (Bijuu, Gates, Hyuuga, etc.) during the moment of the jutsu, or; [2] the death of the user of this jutsu, or; [3] if the user of this jutsu cancels it.
Description: A truly terrifying Shoton technique, and one that made its user infamous across the lands. While the normal crystallization can only encase fractal creations of their target - jutsu, attacks - this enhanced version now allows for the Shoton user to create a layer of crystal complex enough to withstand human life, and the entirety of chakra that comes with it. Unless the victim can someone produce a wave of chakra larger than the one being imposed over them, they will be frozen solid by a sphere crystal that encases their figure snugly. From here, unless a Shoton user manipulates the prison and frees the victim, they remain frozen forever, and doomed if they were ever to be touched - death absolute, for frames would shatter and crumble away.

Hashō Kōryū (Tearing Crystal Falling Dragon)

Special: The range this dragon can travel is dependant on the user’s highest known Shoton Ryuuken rank, and is roughly three meters wide and ten meters long. This dragon does an a-rank worth of damage and can withstand up to one-strike of equivalent rank. By default, one dragon can be summoned at a time; this count is increased per times relearned up to a maximum of three dragons being conjured simultaneously.
Description: Upon completing the secret seals, the user crystallizes a large portion of area surrounding the, and then quickly uses their chakra to morph it into a dragon. Large, fast, dangerous, the beast can be used as a means to travel or even to attack a target, as its essence of crystal allows it to serve as a vector for any Shoton jutsu the user knows.

Omiwatari no Jutsu (The Gods' Crossings Technique) [Two more retrains]

Special: Distance of crystal spikes depends on the user's 'Crystallization Command' rank. These spikes can grow up to three meters tall and one meter wide. Up to one spike stream can be made, plus one more each time retrained, for a maximum of five.
Description: A viciously offensive Shoton ninjutsu, the name comes from a natural phenomenon of the region from which the first Shoton user's existed, which involved winter and the way hotsprings existed within frozen lakes, thus producing odd cracks in the ice. With this jutsu, the user places their hand on a surface, creating a long stream of sharp crystals at frightening speeds in order to to bind and pierce a target.
Domain: Shoton. Must know 'Crystallization Commandment' 'B'.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)

Chakra: Low - Massive.
Special: The cost of the summoning is relative to the item or creature\person in question. For instance, summoning weaponry (kunai, shuriken, senbon) would cost a "low" amount of chakra, while a large beast of a summon may cost a "high" worth of chakra.
Description: A powerful jutsu intended to call forth aid when in dire need, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon a a variety of entities and items meant to assist them in a dire situation. From people to animals, to inanimate objects such as weapons and items, these creations come forth out of thin air near-instantly after the seals are done and into the battlefield. Keep in mind each summoning in question requires a previous contract to be filled out. Finally, signing this contract also allows said summoning to be able to reverse summon the human ninja to their own location.

Special: This ability allows the user detonate his or her explosive notes, opposed to allowing them to be "timed" explosives. Without this technique, the user cannot automatically detonate their tags.
Description: Fuubaku Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique used by shinobi in conjunction with common explosive devices such as exploding notes. With this, the user can choose when their explosives detonate, opposed to being at the mercy of a countdown.
