[style=width: 310px; font-family: times new roman; text-align: justify]Unlike my race from the forest surrounding the village to the gate, I decided to walk at a more steady pace to reach my new palace. The message to reach the iryou shinobi would take time, as would his arrival; there was no need to jostle the unconscious girl even more than I already had. It only took a handful of minutes to reach our destination, and a few minutes more to carefully heave her up the staircase, but we eventually managed to locate an empty room with a clean bed. I unceremoniously dropped her into the plush covers and turned around, not surprised to see a man standing in the doorway.
"Ah, that was very prompt," I stated simply and he bowed low, raising a hand to hold his glasses in place. When he straightened he moved over to the bed with the child in it, squinting down at her curiously. "This is the emergency?" He questioned, but I could hear the indigence in his voice; as one of the top medics left in Takigakure, I assumed he felt his services should be provided only to the most serious of cases. I shrugged a single shoulder at him, my eyes narrowing in such a way that he looked away from me. Did he seriously assume I would not exercise my new control over these people? I may have made an announcement that I would not hurt them like the masked man had, but that was no reason to disobey my orders.
"I was not sure how serious her wounds were. Even still, I would like someone as important as yourself to take care of her. She is a child and a nuke-nin at that, so she may have some valuable information for us when she wakes up. I believe she needs food, too. Will you call for some?"
The medic nodded his assent and moved to a small call box on the wall, where a phone was picked up. I tuned out his order of the food, not caring much what he planned to feed the girl. Instead, I walked over to the edge of the bed and sat upon it. My fingers moved to brush the hair out of the child's face, hoping that this touch would help bring her to awareness. "You need to wake up now," I said to her, loudly. Surely enough time had passed for her body to recover from my blow.[/style]
