When in danger the user will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object - generally a block of wood, but sometimes even another person - the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. From this, the user can use the lapse in the enemy's attention to attack or flee from the battlefield. Explosvie tags can be attached to the placement for an added surprise!

Bunshin no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. After performing a set of handseals, the user creates an intangible copy of themselves. This clone has no substance, so it is not able to attack, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy. It is mainly used in combination with other Ninjutsu. These clones can be easily distinguished by opponents with Doujutsu, but even opponents with normals eyes can tell tell it apart from the original if they are observant, as the clone does not have a shadow and will not disrupt the area around them with their movement. As soon as this clone comes in contact with an opponent or gets attacked, it will disperse.

Note: The clone's movement speed is equal to the user's. Bunshin cannot mold Chakra to perform jutsu, nor can they physically harm an opponent.

Suimen Hokou no Waza is an Academy Ninjutsu technique, and is a variant of Kinobori no Waza. By emitting a constant stream of Chakra from the bottom of their feet and using this repelling force, the user is able to walk across the water's surface. This technique is vastly more difficult than its counterpart because the amount of Chakra that needs to be focused changes constantly, but it helps to build Chakra control in the user. After much practice, it is even possible to 'skate' across the water's surface instead of just walking or running.

Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must combine it with a distraction.

Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.

A powerful jutsu intended to call forth aid when in dire need. Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon a a variety of entities and items meant to assist them. From people to animals to inanimate objects, these creations come forth out of thin air near-instantly after the seals are done and into the battlefield. Keep in mind each summoning in question requires a previous contract to be filled out. Finally, signing this contract also allows said summoning to be able to reverse summon the human ninja to their own location.
Note: All summons have their own Chakra cost, which the user will need to meet in order to bring them forth. In terms of inanimate objects, the user can summon up to ten secondary weapons for a Miniscule amount of Chakra (per summoning); on the other hand they may summon up to five primary weapons for a Low amount of Chakra (per summoning). [ X ]Tier One - Literary Adaptation: Being able to manipulate the countless folds of paper their bodies are capable of reverting into, Shikigami possess an adept level of chakra control. Through greater means of focus and refinement of their technique(s), Shikigami that have mastered their art to this degree have reduced the cost (to cast and sustain) of their kekkei genkai specific jutsu by a single tier.



[ X ]Tier Two - Literature Abroad: Though the range of their techniques is rather impressive, there are those of the Shikigami kekkei genkai that have learned to increase these numbers by a substantial amount. With this mastery, the user has learned to remove the handseals and cost of their Paper Angel Wings technique. Furthermore, they have learned to shift between paper and physical form with not only their body but all items and clothing on them.



[ X ]Tier Three - Elementary Literature: Like most people of their nature (being able to transform their body), there are two primary elements (and their sub elements) which pose the greatest risk to a Shikigami's existence; these are suiton and katon. Shikigami of this level have learned to increase their resistance to these two elements, eliminating the additional damage (the critical effect) one would suffer from being struck by this. However, these elements still greatly effect the user's ability transition from one form to the next.

However, the user may convert one appendage (and arm, leg, head, or the torso; converting two limbs at the same time will count as two separate usages) into paper a total of ten times per thread. Due to being able to transform themselves into paper at any point in time, all Shikigami are nearly impervious to non-elemental physical strikes, but are extremely susceptible to Suiton and Katon. Any and all Katon does a critical amount of damage on Shikigami, and when hit with the element they are unable to disperse and shift properly, even potentially lighting up in flames. Likewise, any and all Suiton reacts adhesively with the paper-infused chakra of the Shikigami body, thoroughly sticking the area the jutsu comes in contact with. It should be noted that Shikigami are not made of paper, but instead simply possess a genetic disorder which allows them to revert their entire bodies into such. When knocked unconscious or extremely exhausted and\or low on chakra, the user will revert to an immobile mound of paper. [/ul]

Shikoku Fūin allows a Fuuinjutsu master to etch a name, phrase, sentence, or even paragraph into whatever they so choose. Upon completion of the single seal the user places their finger upon the surface and writes out that which they wish to inscribe, leaving a burning impression upon the surface. The words burn forever within the surface giving off a faint and obvious blue glow as long as one looks directly upon the etching.

Note: This seal cannot be removed by normal means other than Gogyou Kaiin.

A defensive technique Kekkaifu: Sōkō consumes a single talisman to place upon an individual (the user or others) a defensive ward that will resist incoming attacks. On the surface of the talisman is etched the kanji (衛) for defense. The talisman throws itself into the way of any attack it is capable of defending against in order to defend against it, being destroyed after it's job is complete, burning away into nothing harmlessly.

Note: This technique can defend against one D-rank technique of any kind (that is physical), up to three normal blows from non-relic weaponry, or up to five secondary weapons (such as Kunai) before being consumed. This effect triggers automatically. It should be known that it only defends against the physical portion of any given attack (fire burning, but not the heat resultant). This talisman can only exist in the thread it is created in, being destroyed immediately upon exit. Needs to be used BEFORE the technique to be effective.

An offensive technique that consumes three talismans; Utsufu: Kantsū allows one to attack enemies afar with a senbon-like projectile. After handseals a talisman assumes a position floating near the caster (no further than five meters) slowly spinning around the user. Etched upon the surface of the talisman the Kanji symbols for pierce (貫通) appear, from which the projectiles shoot out from. On command, needing but will to activate, a single projectile is fired toward an enemy. This projectile is similar to a senbon, in that it takes on an extremely slim needle-like appearance, following a straight-like path like any normal projectile would. A single talisman can fire up to five projectiles before being consumed, burning away into nothing harmlessly. While each projectile itself is not particularly strong, it can pierce soft flesh easily if left unabated.

Note: This talisman can only exist in the thread it is created in, being destroyed immediately upon exit. User can only control up to three of these talismans at any given time.

Fūnyū no Jutsu (Enclosing Method)

The user unravels a scroll and writes the needed sealing incantation upon it, leaving a space in the center blank. After performing the needed handseals, vapor appears from the scroll and envelops the technique or item that the user is trying to seal, sucking it inside. The kanji for seal (封) appears in the center, certifying the technique's completion. To activate the scroll at a later time, the user uses the proper Summoning Technique.

Note: It should be noted that sealing using this technique takes a considerable amount of time, and thusly is entirely impractical for use in battle. This technique can be used to seal anything but Humanoids and Beasts, and the exact amount that can be sealed away is noted upon the seals themselves.

Gokumen Fuuin (Frozen Slave Seal)

Gokumen Fuuin is an enslavement type Fuuinjutsu, and is usually given to members of certain secretive shinobi organizations in order to secure confidential information. After being placed, if the wearer of this seal speaks about anything incriminating related to whatever parameters the sealist establishes prior to placing it on the victim, their entire body will be completely paralyzed. It takes the shape of three solid lines with two broken lines beneath, and can be implied anywhere on the body, even during combat, though is most commonly applied to the tongue. Only the person who placed the seal, or a sufficient burst of chakra (such as the gates, a bijuu, or the activation of Susano’o), can end the paralysis once activated.

Note: The 2x High version of this ability allows this paralysis seal to be employed during battle. Meaning, that the victim need not speak or break the parameters; the user can simply activate the seal whenever they wish. This paralysis lasts for a total of one post.

It should be noted that the placing of this seal is permanent, lasting until either forcibly broken or the user’s death.

Gogyou Fuuin (Five Elements Seal)

After performing a set of handseals, the user grasps their wrist and focuses chakra into the hand attached to it. The tips of their fingers are encased in ethereal flames the color of their dominant chakra type. If these fingers are pressed against an opponent, even through clothing, the seal will be placed. Gogyou Fuuin causes the target to lose control of any unnatural chakra within their body, becoming unable to tap into it and use it until the seal is removed. Gogyou Fuuin appears on the target's body as five finger-sized swirls that form a circle, because of the positioning of the user's hand.

Note: This technique heavily disrupts a target’s chakra flow, severely limiting their ability to mold chakra and perform jutsu. Those who have become a victim of this technique will be limited solely to c-rank techniques and below, and only able to sustain feats such as walking on water and up unnatural surfaces for a total of five posts before them must “refresh” it (i.e stop, and then start again).

Furthermore, those who possess a bijuu and are affected by this technique will be unable to harness their bijuu’s chakra in any shape or form. This means that the bonus chakra granted by being the bijuu’s host is temporarily gone, reducing the user’s chakra pool to its baseline reserve.
