Kawarimi no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the user will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object - generally a block of wood, but sometimes even another person - the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. From this, the user can use the lapse in the enemy's attention to attack or flee from the battlefield. Explosvie tags can be attached to the placement for an added surprise!

Note: Switch is near-instantaneous. This technique can only be used once per three turn. While one can switch with a variety of things it needs to be within reason, switching with a chair, log, fallen tree is acceptable, but switching with a dust particle is obviously not.

Henge no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. After performing a set of handseals, the user takes on the form of another object, whether it be an animal, plant, or inanimate object. This transformation is exactly like the genuine article, so it is impossible to tell the two apart without special methods.

Note: The user must transform themselves into an object of similar proportions and mass is conserved. This means that one cannot Henge into a Bijuu, summon, or other gigantic object. It should also be noted that while you can transform into a rock, you will not have it's hardness and while you can turn into a bird you will not necessarily understand how to fly.

Bunshin no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. After performing a set of handseals, the user creates an intangible copy of themselves. This clone has no substance, so it is not able to attack, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy. It is mainly used in combination with other Ninjutsu. These clones can be easily distinguished by opponents with Doujutsu, but even opponents with normals eyes can tell tell it apart from the original if they are observant, as the clone does not have a shadow and will not disrupt the area around them with their movement. As soon as this clone comes in contact with an opponent or gets attacked, it will disperse.

Note: The clone's movement speed is equal to the user's. Bunshin cannot mold Chakra to perform jutsu, nor can they physically harm an opponent.

Suimen Hokou no Waza is an Academy Ninjutsu technique, and is a variant of Kinobori no Waza. By emitting a constant stream of Chakra from the bottom of their feet and using this repelling force, the user is able to walk across the water's surface. This technique is vastly more difficult than its counterpart because the amount of Chakra that needs to be focused changes constantly, but it helps to build Chakra control in the user. After much practice, it is even possible to 'skate' across the water's surface instead of just walking or running.

Note: The user must know Kinobori no Waza in order to use this technique.

Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must combine it with a distraction.

Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.

One of the more advanced and non-combative ANBU techniques, Jigyakkou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used by the ANBU to pull out forgotten memories. After forming the needed hand seals, the ANBU will put the target into a forced trance. After counting back to the day they wish to learn about, they will ask the target to remember incidents they have since forgotten. This allows the ANBU to gather intel that would other be inaccessible.

Note: The user must maintain constant visual on the target, and stay within a meter of their person in order to facilitate this technique. Likewise, the target cannot be in the middle of moving or so when this technique is employed.

Mugen Onsa is a Genjutsu technique which utilizes the Yin Element in conjunction with Mateki. After playing a five note song, all those within hearing range (except for the user) will be assailed by the vivid idea that their limbs have been fastened with sturdy ropes. This makes them think they are unable to move about freely, completely cutting off mobility. At the same time they hallucinate morbidly, seeing the flesh of their arms melt right off the bone.

Note: Flutist must stand still will playing, however once the Genjutsu takes effect they do not need to keep playing to maintain it. Without outside intervention (such as inflicted pain) or the use of a jutsu to break the illusion, all those trapped by this technique will remain immobile indefinitely.

Note: This variation of the Sharingan is capable of dispelling C-rank Genjutsu and below but is able to discern they are within a Genjutsu of B rank and below. The user is capable of predicting rudimentary Taijutsu (C-rank and below), and comprehending movements that are of C rank Speed or less.

This is the second variation of a partially developed Sharingan eye. The clan member’s pupil will turn red and develop two of the wheel swirls. With two tomoe, the user can perform minor jutsu copying, perceive movements with even greater clarity, pierce even stronger Genjutsu, and gather more information from chakra. Users are capable of viewing a targets elemental nature depicted as an aura around their being with varying colors depending on the releases they possess. Users also gain a higher degree of perception enabling skills such as lip-reading, basic movement mimicry (writing, mannerisms, stride, etc), and more.

Note: This variation of the Sharingan is capable of dispelling B-rank Genjutsu and below but is able to discern they are within a Genjutsu of A rank and below. The user is capable of predicting adept Taijutsu (B-rank and below), and comprehending movements that are of B rank Speed or less. For an additional increment of one Mid worth of chakra (stacks with copied jutsu), the user can copy any technique of B-rank and below for the duration of the thread; this cannot be applied to Kinjutsu, Genjutsu, Advanced Releases, Kekkei Genkai, or Clans.

This is the final form of the Sharingan. The clan members pupil will turn red and develop three of the wheel swirls in both eyes. In this form, the clan member can read Genjutsu, Taijutsu, and Ninjutsu, learn how the skill is done and then copy it to be used then or later.

This level of the Sharingan permits a great deal of agility, allowing them to better conserve and direct their attacks based on an impressive level of perception. Three tomoe Sharingan allow seamless copying and interpretation of a wide array of jutsu. At this level, the Sharingan can perform Sharingan: Genjutsu and hypnosis if eye contact is made and the ninja has access to the appropriate techniques. Additionally, keep in mind that the Sharingan’s ability to be used effectively is dependent on visibility and sight range.

Note: This variation of the Sharingan is capable of dispelling all A-rank Genjutsu and below (S rank Genjutsu can be overcome but requires staying within the Genjutsu for 1 turn and a sacrifice of chakra equal to the Genjutsu + Low amount; leaves the Sharingan user in a weakened state for one turn.) but is able to discern they are within a Genjutsu of any rank. The user is capable of predicting advanced Taijutsu (A-rank and below), and comprehending movements that are of A rank Speed or less. They are only mildly able to track speeds of S rank and predict S rank Taijutsu. For an additional increment of one Mid worth of chakra (stacks with copied jutsu), the user may copy any viable technique of A-rank and below for the duration of the thread; this cannot be applied to Kinjutsu, Genjutsu, Advanced Releases, Kekkei Genkai, or Clans.

A basic yet powerful Genjutsu belonging to the Sharingan. Once eye contact is made, the target will be partially paralyzed; symbolized by many large spikes piercing their body. While trapped by this illusion, a targets movement is greatly hindered but not completely sealed. They are able to move small movements albeit at a slow rate.

Note: Eye contact must be maintained for one turn to capture target in illusion. Movement restriction will last one turn.

Saimin Sharingan (Hypnosis Copying Wheel Eye)

This is a broadly categorized Genjutsu that utilizes the Sharingan as the source for the ability. The Genjutsu uses no handseals and can be used in many ways although the base requisite of eye contact is always present. The Genjutsu manifested is completely up to the users whim but its effects are always based around affecting the opponent physically in some manner (paralysis, stun, movement restriction, etc).

Note: Eye contact must be maintained for one turn to capture target in illusion. The Mid cost of this technique is used when the opponent is placed in a Genjutsu and their body is partially affected by the illusion. Such as disabling of one or more limbs, slowing the targets perception, or coercing them to perform certain actions. Any effects will last two turns. The High cost of this technique is used when any form of hard disable (paralysis, stun, sleep inducing, etc) is inflicted upon the target. All effects will last one turn.

The advanced form of this technique requires more preparation to utilize and comes with drawbacks depending on the users skill in Genjutsu. The user must close one of their eyes for a moment before opening it to utilize the High cost form. Once used, the user will feel a surge of pain in the eye used and be unable to utilize other eye techniques aside from the base Sharingan skills for one turn. These conditions and drawbacks are negated as a Genjutsu Master.

The other side of the coin to Saimin, Iatsu focuses upon the utilization of Genjutsu to alter the targets mental and emotional state. This ability can be used to incite various emotions and feelings within a target such as fear, hate, discomfort, sadness, etc, along with any of the physical symptoms that may accompany them. This technique is not limited to negative effects as they can cause a target to experience positive effects. This technique also has a minor function of allowing the user to enter a targets mind to see their inner most thoughts or allow others to enter the Sharingan users mind.

Note: Must know Saimin Sharingan. Eye contact must be maintained for one turn to capture target in illusion. All effects will last one turn.

Magen Kyouten Chiten is a Genjutsu technique unique to the Uchiha bloodline Sharingan holders. Using the copy and counter functions of the Sharingan eye, the Uchiha clan member can stop sensory spell cast on their body and reverse it back on their opponent.

Note: Must know Saimin and Iatsu Sharingan. Must be a Genjutsu Master. The Uchiha must be a intended target of the Genjutsu in question. Does not work on general Area-of-effect Genjutsu such as Nehan Shouja no Jutsu (Temple of Nirvana Technique). This ability does not work on Tsukuyomi or Izanami.

While the crux of Sharingan based Genjutsu is its ease of use requiring only direct eye contact, it also stands as a weakness once said information is known. Looking to bypass this inherent weakness, masters of Sharingan Genjutsu have learned to circumvent the need for eye contact with a mere glance of an appendage, namely the hand. Masters of Genjutsu are able to lock their target in an illusion as long as they glance at the users hand or finger.

Note: Visual of utilized hand or finger must be maintained for one turn to capture target in illusion. Must know Iatsu Sharingan. Must be a Genjutsu Master. Any illusions cast via this technique follow the rules of Iatsu Sharingan.

A Kinjutsu even among the Uchiha clan, Izanagi is considered one of the most powerful Genjutsu in existence. Oddly enough, it is cast on the user rather than an opponent. After performing the necessary handseals, the Genjutsu allows the physical world and illusion world to cross. By these means, the user is free to virtually ‘imagine’ any and all damage done to their body didn’t happen, which allows them to stand unharmed.

Note: Once cast, Izanagi will devour the ‘life’ of a single Sharingan owned by the user regardless of whether or not they deactivate the jutsu (via kai). This technique will last for two turns, not including its activation turn (so a total of 3), per eye before the Sharingan being used up will close forever. In the event that the user has more than one Sharingan, they MUST deactivate the jutsu in order to ensure they can retain at least one working eye. This technique must be quested for via SS rank quest.

Izanami (Foremother God)

Izanami is one of the ultimate Doujutsu of the Uchiha clan, which affects targets through physical sensations shared between them and the user. Like its counterpart, Izanagi, in exchange for the temporary ability that it grants the user, the Sharingan with which Izanami is cast is sealed way and loses its ‘life’ forever. According to scriptures, this technique and Iazanagi form a pair, but unlike the latter, which is a technique capable of altering destiny, Izanami is instead one that “decides” it.

To begin the technique, after selecting any arbitrary moment, the caster uses their Sharingan to remember the physical sensations both of their body and that of their opponent’s during that instant like a photograph (represented as: A). The user must then intentionally replicate the same sensation in the same way, memorize that instant of their Sharingan (represented as: A’). Izanami overlaps and connects these two identical bodily sensations (A and A’), as well as the flow of time between them, creating an infinite loop of events that entraps the opponent’s consciousness.

Note: This will largely be treated as an Izanagi counter, however, it can be practically used outside of this role. The technique takes three turns to prepare before it can begin to be used. After the handseals are cast, the user must over the next three turns, record any and all movement done by both user and target. This means that any time the technique is cast it will only “record” those actions occurring within the three turn preparation window before the technique becomes active. This requires the user to have unbroken visual contact with their opponent for the duration of the three turn prep window or else they must start over.

Once the three turn preparation window has been observed and the user is ready to cast the technique, one additional handseal is required. At this juncture Izanami is cast and the target is subjected to a Genjutsu loop of events consisting of those recorded during the three turn prep period. Once in the loop, the target is locked in until the end of the thread. Once cast, Izanami will devour the ‘life’ of a single Sharingan owned by the user. This technique must be quested for via S rank quest.

The Mangekyou Sharingan is considered the final stage of the eye, and, in many cases, the "perfect evolution" of any dojutsu known to the shinobi world. It possesses powerful techniques that many could only dream of one day possessing. However, acquiring the Mangekyou is incredibly difficult, with the most known being quite costly:

• The most acknowledged way of acquiring the Mangekyou Sharingan is to kill your best friend.
  
  
• Another way, however, is to simply push one's body to their limit in order to protect one (or people) that they truly love and care about. These situations are often very dire (life or death), in which the Uchiha's efforts will decide the fate of their beloved friend or family.
  
  
• Rumors speak of a third way, as well. Though incredibly tedious, and far less common than the first and speculated third, it has been said that one can simply unlock the eye from an inhuman amount of training (25'000 EXP).

Note: Aside from the third option, both the killing of the best friend and saving of a beloved will be handled on a case by case basis. Presuming you wish to obtain the Mangekyou via these two methods, you'll first need to perform the acquiring thread (i.e kill them or try to save them). Then, you'll need to send Administration your thread, along with a list of the other threads you and your friend(s) have been in, building your story (PM Ashura).

Administration will discuss at length whether or not we feel your story is compelling enough to warrant the evolution. We aren't going to put a limitation on how many threads you have to be in, or what you should do to clarify you two are best friends. Write a compelling story, execute your path of acquisition, and wait to see the results!

Upon achieving Mangekyou Sharingan, full-blooded Uchiha will be be automatically allowed to obtain Susano'o plus 2 other S-ranked eye techniques (free of EXP cost). If you choose not to take Susanno'o, you will be able to take 3 S-ranked eye techniques, all of which will apply wear and tear on the sharingan as it is used-- eventually leading to character blindness. This only applies to members with both of their eyes.

Those who achieve Mangekyou Sharingan via a transplant (or only possess one eye) will be able to select a single S-ranked eye technique; however, will be unable to select Susano'o.

It's no secret that this final form of the Sharingan causes the user to go blind after an extended period of use. As of right now, Uchiha are capable of using the Mangekyou Sharingan techniques a grand total of thirty times before total blindness sets in. After fifteen uses, the user's eye sight will be reduced to fifty percent (see image). Once the user reaches five uses left, their vision is reduced to twenty-five percent (see image), with total blindness setting in at zero. Unfortunately, not even the Sharingan can strengthen the user's vision (the states shown are with the Sharingan active).

It should be noted that only using the techniques associated with the Mangekyou Sharingan deteriorate one's eyesight. Simply activating the eye has no effect on the user's eyes. Furthermore, once blinded, the user may transplant other Sharingan in their place and retain their Mangekyou evolution. However, the blindness moves at an even faster pace on these new eyes, diminishing the usage of Mangekyou techniques by 5 each time a single eye is replaced. This is not set in effect by blindness caused by Izanagi or Izanami.

The only known cure for this blindness is to transplant a family member's Mangekyou Sharingan, thereby unlocking what is known as the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. This gives the user's unlimited usage of their Mangekyou.

Mangekyou Sharingan (Kaleidoscope Copying Wheel Eye)

Special: The "perfect" and truly final stage of the Sharingan, the Mangekyou Sharingan is, without a doubt, the most powerful manifestation of the dojutsu. This stage of the eye allows the user to pierce all s-rank genjutsu and below, and predict and comprehend all s-rank taijutsu and below, as well. Furthermore, the user is also capable of catching brief glimpses of movements x6 the speed of your average shinobi. Keep in mind that regardless of foresight and prediction, in order to avoid incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed, agility and RP ability will ultimately control whether they can move to avoid it. Furthermore, obtaining this eye reduces the cost to activate the standard Sharingan to one low worth of chakra, with the cost to sustain it remaining the same.
Description: The final evolution to Sharingan, and is said to be the greatest level of Sharingan in existence. Mangekyou is not one form but many, manifesting uniquely in each of the user's eyes. Powerful enough to be said to have at one point controlled the Nine Tailed Demon Fox, very few in the history of the clan and the shinobi world have been able to achieve this level of power and control over their bloodline. But once they do, a whole new wealth of power is obtained. On top of the bonus attack each evolution has, MS doubles and even triples every form of potential a 3 tomoe Sharingan may have.

• Susanoo (God of the Sea and Storms)

  Range: Eyesight.
  Chakra: Massive to cast, High to sustain.
  Special: This technique requires that the user have mangekyou sharingan in both of their eyes, and is only accessible by full-blood Uchiha clan members. Susano'o takes three full turns to completely manifest, and each "phase" of the technique boasts its own offensive and defensive properties.

[/b]: A partial summoning can be achieved after just the first turn. At this juncture the user can manifest either portions or the entire skeletal structure of Susano'o, but none of it's weapons. This stage has significant openings in it's defense, largely protecting the core, leaving gaps along the extremities.

Phase Two: By the second turn, the user is capable of bringing out the muscled form of Susano'o. During this stage the user is significantly encompassed by the armor and can manifest the summon's weapons. This stage, while entirely covered by the armor, has less defense than the final form Susano'o.

Phase Three: By the third turn the Susanoo can be fully manifested in it's armored form. At this stage the user is completely enshrouded by the armor and gains full benefit from it's impressive defense as well as manifesting it's weapons. This stage is arguably the strongest incarnation of the Susano'o forms.[/ul]It goes without saying that the offensive and defensive capabilities of this technique are utterly astounding. Even the phase one of this technique was capable of dampening the damage from Kirin (one of the most destructive abilities in the Naruto universe) so that it's user could survive (albeit still injured). Likewise, the sheer might of this technique can seemingly penetrate a wide variety of potent barriers as well.
Description: Susano'o, named for the God of the Sea and Storms, is a technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to create a sword wielding spectral form which will surround the user. This jutsu is generated by both Mangekyou eyes. Susanoo will first form around the user as a skeleton. In its earliest form, users can only manifest some of Susano'o's skeleton, such as producing a ribcage that can be used as a defense, or even making an arm to interact with one's surroundings. Because these skeletal structures do not entirely surround them, users can move around much easier. As users can gain additional control, musculature and skin begins to appear on the bones. It grows to its full size and the user is completely surrounded, eliminating the vulnerabilities of the skeletal form. The user can also change the size of it to fit the current situation. Susanoo eventually develops into a "complete" form, with skin, armour and its final arsenal of weapons finally manifesting. It anchors the user to the ground at this stage, preventing opponents from forcibly moving them unless they can get through Susanoo's various layers. The final form of Susano'o varies from user, as do specific details. One such specific are the variety of weapons this phantom-like creature can conjure on a whim. These vary from swords; shields; whips; daggers; and the list goes on. Like other Mangekyou techniques, usage of Susano'o will damages the eyes and health of the user.

[/li][li]Amaterasu (Goddess of the Sun)

Special: Amaterasu fires as a relatively fast moving projectile, starting from shortly in front of the user toward the target. This technique causes severe damage to the retina, causing the user to bleed from the eye used to cast this technique and severely hindering their eyesight. The initial gout of black flame generated by the eye can be guided (as demonstrated in the manga), and upon contacting a surface, expands rapidly, burning anything and everything in its path. These flames are capable of burning through many, if not all, barriers and defenses. Likewise, it can eat through and overpower most offensive jutsu as well (especially katon).
Description: Amaterasu, named for the Goddess of the Sun, is a Ninjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye in order to create the most powerful black fire known to man. This jutsu is generated by the Mangekyou eye. It has been said that anything within the Mangekyou's vision will burn to ash if consumed by the fire. The fire itself is said to burn for 7 days and 7 nights. The jet-black flames of the Amaterasu, said to be the fires from hell that are as hot as the sun, ignite at the focus of the user's vision, making the attack nearly unavoidable. Though it is regarded as the strongest of Mangekyou's physical attacks, usage of the ability will degrade the eye further and lead the user to blindness.

[/li][li]Tsukuyomi (God of the Moon)

Special: Due to the intensity of the Genjutsu, this illusion can actually inflict enough "pain" perceived by the mind to kill victims caught within its grasp. Inside this illlusion, the user has absolute control of the perception of time and space, essentially bestowing upon them the ability to "change reality as they see fit." Entire years of torture can occur in the matter of a blink in an eye, and the wear and tear of each painful encounter will swarm the victim's body (once released) in a sudden moment. This technique is incapable of being disrupted by the effects of "kai," and can only be broken by a surge of chakra equivalent to the eighth celestial gate or a bijuu. This technique does not require eye contact, and can be cast on a victim simply by having the user look at them.
Description: Tsukuyomi, named for the God of the Moon, is a Genjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to generate a powerful illusion - in fact, the most powerful one in existance. This highly advanced technique can not be used extensively because of the toll it places on the user. To utilize the illusion, the clan member will look into the eyes of his opponent and cast a Genjutsu spell on them. The illusion takes place in the mind of the one affected, while under the jutsu the victim is at the total mercy of the user. The user has full control over space and time in the jutsu and can place the one affected through any hell they desire for any length desired. The technique itself only lasts for but a second in reality, but the one affected could have lasted through several days of torture. It is said only a natural born member of the Uchiha Clan can overcome the illusion.

Special: This unique ability can be separated into two entirely different phases: teleportation and intangibility. Likewise, it can be performed with or without the Mangekyou Sharingan activated.

[/b] This phase of the Kamui ability allows the user to warp objects in and out of an entirely different dimension. Despite the power of this ability, there is a maximum size and number to the objects that a user can transport (in and out) at any single moment. The size cannot be more than x5 the size of your average human body, and no more than five objects at once. It should be noted that Kamui is capable of teleporting nearly anything caught in its path, from entirely ethereal constructs (such as Rasengan) to corporeal items (weapons, bodies, etc); however, the user must be able to see the object in question. Once inside the alternative dimension, there is no method of escaping unless the user wishes to release you.

Intangibility: Considered to be the close quarters version of the ability, or self-inflicted, this allows the user to turn the transporting capability of Kamui on themselves. This allows the user to instantly, at their will, teleport a specific portion (up to their entire body) into the alternative dimension linked to this dojutsu. Generally being overlapped by the incoming object in question, this allows the user to appear "intangible," as if the attack is simply slipping through them. Sustaining the usage of this technique per turn requires an increment of one High worth of chakra.[/ul]Using the teleportation aspect of kamui (external) has its drawback, though. You can only teleport objects in or out in a single post; this means you can't teleport something into the alternative dimension and out of it in the same post. Furthermore, you cannot use the teleportation and intangibility aspect of kamui simultaneously. Beyond that, only teleporting objects into the alternative dimension causes the wear and tear associated with the Mangekyou eye (i.e uses a "charge"). Using the "intangibility" aspect does not.
Description: Kamui, named for God's Majesty, is a Ninjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou Sharingan eye to generate an imploding transportation vortex. After producing the Mangekyou eye, focuses on an area of his target. The surrounding area will then warp and collapse in on itself, quickly reducing the surrounding area to nothingness. The technique will transport the focused area away to another location or dimension of the user's choosing. From small projectile to whole locations, as long as the user focuses their eye on it, they can cause its teleporation. Although causing heavy strain on the user, it is said to be unavoidable due to its delivery.

[/li][li]Kotoamatsukami (Distinguished Heavenly Gods)

Special: There is an incredibly long "cooldown" period after each use, in which the technique cannot be accessed again (one month oocly from the date of use). Each eye holds it own charge, and thusly its own cooldown. This technique does not require eye contact, or that the Sharingan even be visible; the user simply needs to be able to see their victim. The effects of the mind control only last for the duration of the thread in which it is used. However, even after the thread has been complete, the user will not have even realized anything has changed; they will continue on, not suspecting their decision(s) to have been altered in any way, shape or form. Even among the Mangekyou, this ability is incredibly rare, and as such, only three members will be able to obtain it at any given time.
Description: Kotoamatsukami is a genjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to control the minds and opinions of others, without the victim's awareness. It is regarded as one of the most powerful Genjutsu in existence, next to the kinjutsus Izanagi and Izanami. No direct eye contact with the victim is necessary, and Kotoamatsukami can be used even if the eye is covered by cloth or any material. The victim simply needs to be in the same vicinity as the user in order for the technique to come to fruition. This mind control and opinion alternating is absolute, and the user can make the victim do anything they wish them to do. Due to being unaware of the technique's existence in the first place, breaking it is incredibly difficult to do.

Magen • Narakumi no Jutsu is a specially developed Genjutsu technique utilized by ANBU to instill fear into their targets, either for combat or interrogation. The illusion is so strong that it essentially causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ANBU will use the serpent hand seal to cause a circle of leaves or any loose particles nearby to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Once cast the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion.

Note: The user must have the Inton (Genjutsu) release in order to use this technique. Likewise, the target must be within eyesight of the caster.

Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu is a universal sight Genjutsu technique that creates false attackers to delay and confuse the enemy. Though these servants are not real, the actual ninja is able to remain hidden and throw projectiles such as kunai and shuriken matching the movements of the servants. This makes it appear the false servants are capable of attacking. When the enemy attempts to attack the servant, they will merely disrupt the servants illusion body but not destroy it. These clones will continue to multiply each time they are disrupted, eventually wearing the target out into a state of exhaustion.

The user performs the necessary hand seals, designating their target within their range. Immediately, the target will perceive the surface beneath their feet to be soft and giving, so much so that they begin to sink into it. Note: Those outside of the immediate range of this technique will still be able to see the caster attempting to escape,and thus counter.

Jubaku Satsu (Tree Binding Death)

Jubaku Satsu is a more advanced Genjutsu technique utilized by illusion experts. After forming the needed handseals, the user will disappear from sight in the form of a mist. This allows the user to creep up to the target unnoticed as a sudden tree rises up from the ground behind them. The tree immediately binds them into place, immobilizing the target on the spot. The user will then reappear from the trunk of the tree itself.

An advanced form of Manugareru which makes it seem that the user is scattering into the air in the shape of a personalized theme of their liking (small animals - spiders / snakes / crows, objects, paper, flower petals, etc). Commonly used with slithering and crawling animal or object although each person usually has their own use mark. After forming the required handseals this technique will make one's presence truly hidden, allowing for a strategic retreat or for a stealth attack. The structure behind it is akin to Kawarimi no Jutsu, which will have the user previously disappeared from their place, leaving one's image behind to disperse after an attack or at will and the user will reappear when the "pieces" get back together at a location, which will make it easier for a target to follow.

Note: This technique must be prepped beforehand. After activation, the user will become shrouded with their Inton chakra so long as they remain within ten meters of where the technique was activated. This reforming “clone” will then piece itself back together anywhere within this ten meter area, and recycle the process as long as the user continues funneling Chakra into the technique.

This technique affects all those within range of the activation point. Stepping outside of this range, however, will “break” the Genjutsu. This technique was created by Vegapunk.

Kyousei Yasuragi no Jutsu (Enforced Tranquility Technique)

The user forms the hand seals, designating their target within their range. Immediately, the target will begin to slow, perceiving everything around them as occurring at an incredibly fast speed. In reality, this Genjutsu has slowed their perceptions, and in doing so reduced their reflexes and physical abilities to match the new, slower speed of their mind. From the outside, it might appear as though the target is moving through molasses, as their body slows with their mind.

That being said, members of the Sumi clan have learned to forgo the need for a brush or purchasing ink to supplement their artful skills. Replacing the brush is the hand but more precisely, the fingers. The mere waving of their appendages over a selected canvas is able to create brush strokes of any varying size and texture; a manifestation of their will and the Artist's Heart. Ink is therefore replaced by a chakra manifested substance by providing an additional Miniscule amount of chakra per 5 jutsu used. This substance is unaffected by water and thus can be used in any situation.

Tier 2 - Give thanks to you, Art: It is said that a true artist does not imagine a creation before bringing it to life. Rather they simply begin their creation and the feelings of their heart and soul will guide their hand to completion. Such is dedication to the Arts. Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu that utilizes ink. After performing the necessary hand seals, the user is able to create a highly durable clone composed of ink. Unlike its clone counterparts, the ink clone has actual mass and substance, thus making it hard to see through. The clone will revert to ink if either it is struck or the user is rendered unconscious.

Note: This clone must stay within 50 meters of the user. Despite its extended range, these clones must be created within 5 meters of the user. Each clone has a chakra pool equal to one High amount. These clones can only utilize Sumi techniques and basic chakra techniques such as wall climbing and water walking.

By first drawing what they wish to bring to life and then forming a singular hand seal, this jutsu is activated. This technique focuses upon the creation of primary and secondary weapons but can also be used for things such as armor and universal tools. Each of the creations retains the abilities and durability of their average real counterpart.

Note: Requires no hand seals when used in combination with Choujii Giga. The user cannot draw and summon other items until all creations of their previous cast have been destroyed. These creations can travel a maximum distance of 100 meters from their creator. Only typically thrown projectiles can be brought out already in motion; requiring no physical effort to actually throw them. The limit of this technique is dependent on how much chakra is applied and what is drawn. One set can consist of 10 tiny (makibishi, marbles, etc); 5 small (shuriken, kunai, etc); 3 medium (kama, giant shuriken, etc); 2 large (fuuma shuriken, spiked iron ball, sword, spear, etc). Heihō practitioners of this level receive a +1 bonus to their Reflex stat.

Tier 2 - Heart of Art: Attaining a deeper connection between their Sumi origins and the skills of the Heihō practice, masters of this level have erased the line normally held between Sumi and Heihō techniques. Now able to intertwine the abilities of the clan and the fighting style with the use of just a single hand seal unique to the style. Note: There must be preexisting ink present. Each spike can grow to a max of 10 feet and is 2 inches thick.

The orb/s do not function on their own and only activate when the user is attacking with the chosen weapon or limb; adding additional effects of the users choosing to their strikes. The orb/s can be manipulated to act in a multitude of ways such as near instantly taking on rudimentary shapes or mimicking a single instance of the users chosen appendage with many times the users strength; creations harder than stone. It can also be utilized in a more basic form such as a surge or wave of ink that crashes into those in range applying a large amount of concussive force; enough to break bone.

Note: Must be a Heiho practitioner. Gahitsu (Artist's Brush) or Akuriru (Acrylic) must be active. Single orb measures four inches in diameter; double orbs are each half the diameter of a single. Single orb creations cannot surpass six meters in diameter while double orb creations cannot surpass three meters in diameter. All creations cannot travel farther than two meters from the user.

The ink can also be generated from the users hand which causes ink to spill into the ground/air, and forming the shield. The barrier can be made to allow others in at the users discretion or pass through others deemed an "ally" harmlessly.

Note: Must be a Heiho practitioner. Must know Kyanbasu (Canvas). Measures six meters in diameter. Able to block a single A rank attack. Lower rank have no effect.

One of the few Hand-to-Hand techniques of Heiho that allows a more fluid style of combat than its weapon counterpart. A Heiho practitioner generates ink which will cover their arms and/or legs turning the affected area black. The generated ink 'armor' is as durable as stone, but retains the appendages maneuverability, and yet absorbs impact akin to water, giving the technique a high degree of offense and defense. Attacks with the affected area will yield greater levels of power as the ink increases the 'hardness' of the chosen appendage and perfectly transfers all of the users strength into each strike. This transfer of strength manifest in the form of a strong knock-back effect or two 'surges' of force applied moments after and at the same impact point as the original hit; each 'surge' possessing as much power as the original.

Note: Must be a Heiho practitioner. Can only be penetrated/broken by physical attacks of A rank or higher. Non-physical (fire, sound, etc) attacks of B rank or higher deal reduced damage to the user but do not break the armor. Knock-back effect is 5 meters.
