'This city, my home, the home to my family.' Tenshi thought to himself as he sat under a tree just outside the village, he could see the entire thing from the position he was sitting in. All he could do was thinking about the events that occurred so many years ago, 'So much destruction.' the boy thought to himself, but the thought of destruction of the leaf didn't really anger the Uchiha. A grin would actually cross the boy's face as he thought about it, 'The power of an Uchiha did this.' he'd think as he crossed his arms and continued to look towards the village.

"I wish I had the chance to meet him, he had to know everything about our clan and our own family."

He would say speaking to himself as his eyes floated towards the light blue sky's of Kohona, in his mind he didn't view destruction of the leaf as an act of hate. He viewed it as a display of power, the power that the Uchiha hold in their reach. 'But i'm having a hard time gaining one Tomoe.' the boy thought to himself as he would close his eyes and shake his head for a brief second. Tenshi couldn't help but to feel like he was doing something wrong, because he was 16 years old and he hadn't even gained one Tomoe. Especially since most of the men in his family unlocked their first tomoe at a very young age, it wasn't something that usually took a long time to happen.

"Its all good though."

The boy would say as he stood up from his seated position pulling a Kunai from his bag, he'd turn towards the large tree and began to scratch a message into the tree. 'With aspiration comes great success.' the boy would scratch the message into the tree before he turned back towards the village.

All those months ago, before he left to wander the world, that child ran into another boy. Despite being from the same village, he had never met him before; he didn't even know he existed before that one fleeting moment. But, it was when he looked into his eyes that he knew they were brothers -- brothers of the same cause, ideals, hopes and dreams.

Ashura's gait was slow and casual, lacking the haste that would've naturally come with the excitement bubbling just beneath his placid reserve. Lost in his own thoughts, he searched the empty blue for something that had alluded him for far too long; maybe he would find it this time around?

A shift of light caught his attention, however, before he could dive too deep into the ocean of thoughts. His gaze fell back to the earth, like a meteor cascading from the heavens, to find a boy up ahead. He was older than Ashura - this much he could tell from a mere glance - but it wasn't by much.

"Afternoon," he said coolly as he neared. "Beautiful day, isn't it?"

As the boy peered over the village he would catch sights of another approaching from the walking path, Ranshi wouldn't be alarmed by the boy because of the one the crust that would be on his jacket. Placing the Kunai back into his bag as the boy neared him Ranshi would take a couple steps forward himself. 'I've never seen this kid before, but he an Uchiha strange.' the boy thought to himself as the kid approaching would speak a little about the nice day out.

"Yeah, not to hot not to cold rather perfect. If you don't mind me asking who might you be? oh and my name is Uchiha, Ranshi."

The boy would say as held his position awaiting the younger boy's response.

"Ashura Uchiha," the boy replied smoothly. So, they were 'brothers' after all. Perhaps not entirely by blood, per say, but kin nevertheless. They were the children of conquerors, more so than any other human could testify. Battle born, as some might dare to say.

Interesting. Ashura stopped, removing his hands from his pocket. "What'cha doin' out here?"

'Ashura Uchiha.' Ranshi thought to himself, so just as he expected the boy was from the same prestige's clan. He had looked kind of familiar but not entirely, the boy kind of reminded Ranshi of someone he knew but he wouldn't address it right away as the Ashura followed up with a question.

"Honestly, I was thinking about the last Great Ninja War..." The boy would take a slight pause. "And who it was finished by here in Konoha."

He would say as he walk back towards the tree he had marked up once more taking a seat on the ground. Ranshi would begin to look over the village as he was once before as he sat with his back up against the tree.

"How about you?"

"The legendary Kouketsu Uchiha," the boy replied almost immediately. "The strongest Uchiha to have ever walked the earth - perhaps even the strongest ninja, period." Ashura's mind drifted to the haunting tales he'd heard of the man, and what terrible power he wielded with his unprecedented Sharingan. It was said, written in the most ancient of Uchiha scriptures (reserved solely for those of Jounin status to research), that he was the first in over a hundred years to unlock the power of the Mangekyou Sharingan -- perhaps the first, entirely. Any and all records dating beyond Kouketsu's birth, in regard to the final evolution of their "eyes," had been lost during the First Great War.

Yet, even a man as powerful as Kouketsu had vanished into thin air. He hadn't left so much as a trace, leaving many to simply conclude he had perished in the belly of the very beast he created - the war machine that conquered all in the name of his unbending will and determination. There were some, however, who sang to a different tune; there were those who believed he still walked the earth, lurking in the shadows, waiting to finish what he started. The Second Great War, they would say, was only the beginning.

Ashura saw no reason to destroy the myth, though. "Nothing more than a myth now," he lied with a shrug. "He's no more a threat than the boogie man beneath your bed. Even the strongest of ninja bend to the will of time; there's nothing they can do to stop that. And when they do, aspiring ninjas like ourselves take their place on the totem pole. That reminds me--"

The boy's gaze was sharp. "How strong are your eyes, if you don't mind me asking?"

As the younger boy began to talk Ranshi would actively listen to him, he would go on about Kouketsu being one of the most powerful ninja of all time. Then he would speak of people believing that he had still walked the earth, Ranshi didn't believe that his self as Ashura would continue to speak. Ranshi would stand back up as the boy finished his last statement, he would ask about Ranshi's eyes.

"Well.....They're Dormant."

He would say as he would look away from him for a second, though he was 16 years old he hadn't even unlocked his Sharingan yet. It was something he was't proud of but had to live with.

"I've been a bit overprotected."

"Ah, got'cha." Overprotected? Uchiha? The two words simply didn't go hand in hand. If he ever hoped to achieve the greatness that his clan was feared renowned for, he'd need to 'get out', so to speak. But, then again, that was his choice to make.

"You need a good fight," Ashura chirped. "Even a spar, really. Anythin' that'll get your blood flowin' and your senses tingling. That's the only way your eyes are going to develop. That's what I had to do, anyway."

The taller would nod his head, he knew what he had to do unlock his eye he just hadn't had to many chances to show what he could do. Looking back towards the younger boy Ranshi would begin to speak.

"Yeah I know that, I don't know why my eyes haven't shown there selves. I come from a Fine line of Uchiha that all been able to unlock there eyes at young ages, or even lived on to do great things such as access power that we hadn't even known possible by Uchiha."

The boy would go on to say as he stood up taking a few steps towards the village, he would turn away from the boy for a second he would begin to reminisces about his family.

"But you say you've done it, You've unlocked your tomoe? "

as he turned back towards Ashura, if that was true it would make the boy feel a bit inadequate because the Ashura couldn't be no more than a pre-teen. But there was something different about this kid, he did look very familiar.

"follow up question, I'm just curious who is your father?"

Ashura blinked, and his eyes changed. Granted, though he sported the three-tomoe typical to a "fully" evolved Sharingan, it would be impossible to ignore the distinct difference. Black -- his eyes were black, spare for the blaring red trademark of their clan.

"I'm not really sure who my father is," he admitted. "That's the reason I'm leaving the village right now - to find him. Ryuusuke-sama said that he was a man of great, terrible power, though. He said that my eyes are like his."

Ashura gave a shrug, blinking away his kekkei genkai. "But, I don't think that has anything to do with me. I'm not a bad kid, y'know?"

As the boy reopened his eyes they had changed, they were no longer that Uchiha coal black color. 'Three-Tomoe god.' Ranshi thought to himself, if that wasn't a testament to the thoughts he had of who this kid reminded him off. As Ashura began to explain that he didn't know who his father was and how he was leaving with Ryuusuke-Sama to figure out who he was. Ranshi's eyebrow would raise a little, The young Uchiha was one to honer his clan before anything but he had his questions.

"I feel you, our parents don't make us who we are.... We become who we want to be."

he would take a slight pause as the breeze around him picked up a little.


"But Ryu-Sama? Agaru'Mo say's he's a traitor of the leaf...... I don't past judgement on people before I know them but I remember hearing during the war he faced off against my cousin kouketsu and when it was over Ryu left the village while it was in shambles."

Ryu-sama, a traitor? The thought had never crossed the boy's mind before, but now that it had, he found himself somewhat upset. Ryuusuke was, without a doubt, one of the greatest Hokages that the Hidden Leaf had ever seen. Not only had he attempted to defend the Leaf during the Second War, but during his reign, the Leaf was undoubtedly one of the strongest Hidden Villages there was. And now, this new Hokage had the nerve to call him a traitor?

Without warning, Ranshi would find a fist careening square into his mouth. Ashura didn't take kindly to people bad mouthing his kin, or even entertaining the idea that such horrible rumors could be true. Granted, the punch wasn't anything too special, but it was certainly mouth than enough to bloody the older Uchiha's mouth and send him staggering back.

Those sharingan he'd seen merely a handful of moments prior to this would've been blaring once more, scrutinizing Ranshi regardless of what the outcome of the attempted punch was.

"Don't you dare say such things about Ryu-sama!" Ashura growled, clearly ready for a fight. "He's no traitor!"

Now the situation had taking somewhat of a dramatic turn as the younger of the Uchiha emotions began to run high, Ranshi wouldn't even have seen it coming as the boy's eyes were tented with that Uchiha crimson once more. Ranshi had been to relaxed around the boy as the punch would connect, the boy would take a couple steps looking away towards the ground. The older boy started to laugh just little as he picked up his head, he would whip the little blood that was on his bottom lip.

"What you didn't hear me? I obviously said those were my brothers words......"

Ranshi would say the Chakra began to rush towards his eyes, 'Welp I can't hide it.' The boy would think to himself as his Sharingan manifested it self displaying Ranshi's lack of power, but it didn't matter to Ranshi because it was his Sharingan.

"I guess we'll get to know each other right now!"

The Uchiha said in the same instance as he returned fire attempting to punch Ashura back in the face, he off course knew Taijutsu against a fully matured Sharingan was almost pointless. But of course Ranshi wouldn't let fear stop him from defending his own honer.
