Katon, the power of flames, which allowed anyone with the gift of chakra to produce a fire unlike any other nature has ever created. Doton, the power of earth, does something similar, only it grants its users the power to control the very earth around them. Simple, basic elements found in nature, yet when utilized properly, could produce cataclysmic results. In other words, the right hands always wielded its tools best, and in the case of Ninjutsu, this was an excellent example. The Uchiha's predominance was Lightning, with a vague knowledge of Earth to compliment; compare that to a master of the former element, and the discrepancies become apparent. But was that the end...?

No.

The approach was imminent. The prey had charged his metallic appendages once more with that dangerous Raiton chakra that had just recently marred the earth nearby, and with each meter removed from their separation, an increase in the force of his chakra would take place. As such, he'd ensure that the contact would be as brilliantly violent as possible – whenever it occurred, that is. The earthen opponent, finally aware of his predicament, took action, taking his dirth ridden limb and cocking it back in preparation of the Uchiha's arrival.

Chakra Armor, eh?

At the same time, it seemed his connection to the bare earth below him would grant addition Doton for the jutsu, thus enhancing the size of the foe. The flow of chakra was evident to the one with magical eyes, removing the shroud of mystery behind the earth “behemoth” and revealing it to be nothing than smoke and mirrors - thus was the power of chakra. At the last minute, the Jounin would flicker, a shimmer that left him blurred and zigzagging upon his approach. The clash was iminent – but who'd emerge on top!?

His pace was swift and his mind set right, speeding steadfast into in own everlasting light. The trees shade was peaceful, providing a level of dampened light that'd proved to be quite comfortable against Masuyo's aching and dirtied skin. More so worried about being caught into traps and being apprehended by hostile forces, he took to the trees, sifting through their earthy essence without effort. It had to have been the best and potentially safest means of travel as it allowed him to not only move about hidden from plain view, but his eyes were able to canvass everything that transpired below him. Just as he himself moved, so did his eyes which moved through the swath of earth which had been occupied my small stationed groups of shinobi who'd be oblivious of his elevated pursuit.

"Odd, what are all of these shinobi doing stationed out here? I've passed at least three well placed platoons since my last encounter some time ago. Hm, it would have been benefitial to have aquired the origins via headband but I can't say that I even had time to despite dispatching those who compromised my presence." Silently he mused, coursing through streaks of brown and green as the gap between him and that billowing body of fire seemed to be at arms reach, but in actually there had still been some ways to travel.

"I should be ok until I get there, as lon-" His bare feed silently pressed against the limb of a tree, yet, its durability submitted to the weight of Masuyo's body. Its material snapped in half which sent him off balance and plummeting to the earthen floor. The gravitational pulls towards the earth showed no mercy on his body, sending him through other branches that he tried to land on, but luck wasn't on his side. Branch after branch they snapped until he finally slammed into the ground below with spiraling bodies of dirt and leaves rising above him. The impact left him stunned for a moment and the platoon of shinobi around alarmed, this hadn't been good.

Masuyo raised himself to his feet and looked around to obtain a visual image with is head before his attention immediately fixated upon the opponents that began to surround him, knowing that he wasn't among them.

The timing of the flicker was perfect, pure raw speed combined with the all-seeing eye, Sharingan, allowing the prey to carve the perfect evasive route, while at the same time positioning himself in the most prime striking point possible. The large earthen arm swung above his head, missing its target while the nimble Jounin now found himself at his desired destination. Now, with both arms crossed before his chest and his claws charged with his might, he would unleash it all at once. Both gauntlet-carrying arms would swipe out, releasing ten claws of thunderous justice that laid down the final word.

“To you that dares attack me with impunity...”

Though it was hard to observe the visage of the owner behind the earthen creation, the prey could tell his “eyes” widened at the realization of what had happened. There he stood, still, his chakra no longer flowing across his body as Sharingan confirmed the end. Within a few seconds later, the earthen behemoth would crumble up and die, its body slowly twitching and jittering before losing themselves completely. But it wasn't over just yet, for as the Uchiha made his pass and ran just past the felled foe, the flames finally showed their true hand.

“...DIE!!!”

His bellowing voice echoed a truth evident by the pile of boulders that served as remnants of his last opponent, though unfortunately, it would muffle the newest danger to arrive at the field. A jet of fire raised into the sky some ten meter above and behind him, coming together in the form of a small fireball. Then, a split second later, the ball changed its shape, resembling that of a man. The flames that encased his body slowly receded, and in moment, his floating essence would be revealed to be comprised of pure black; he was a shinobi.

Without punity, an outstretched hand delivered a series of five fireballs, measuring the size of a human torso each. They flew at kunai speeds, and aside from the crackling noise the flames produce, had retained the element of surprise. It seemed the prey had finally met his match.

Blood pumped, hearts raced, and adrenaline's flared; time itself seemed to obey on Masuyo's own command. Controlling the rate in which his blood pumped, he unlocked the ability to feed his heart and brain abundant amounts of blood as a means to increase his reaction time above the average shinobi, but still something far minuscule in comparison to the Uchiha's sharingan. "One. . .two. . .three. . .Four. . .five. Sigh." He was completely surrounded by capable ninja, and just two alone nearly bested him head on, with the numbers cranked up to five things didn't seem so good at the moment. However, as bad as it had seemed, Masuyo refused to give up all hope. He'd walk away as the victor one way. . .or another. He knew this.

His hands whipped into a long string of handseals, trying to put his handicapped match on equal grounds. His speed had been impressive to say the least, but, in the end it wasn't enough - not nearly. Halfway through his hands ballet, one of the five shinobi managed to body flicker around to his immediate rear, aiming to take off his head. Even with his slightly boosted reaction time, the flicker in itself was fairly difficult to track since it was fairly difficult to intently remained fixated upon five different opponents from five different positions. Nevertheless, with his opponents curving flicker to his rear came a swift right roundhouse. With a quick peak over the shoulder and a instinctive duck ensured his safety, however, his focus relinquished itself from his forefronts which left him open.

It was insane, in that quick second that his focus removed itself from his front, a following opponent closed the distance, remaining in turn with the rhythm of attack. He also came in with a kick, a rising one to be specific, of which connected and uplifted him into the air with shocking force. Wasting not even a second that same shinobi delivered a spinning back kick to Masuyo's chest that carried a 5 meter knock-back in its wake. His body jerked back as it slammed against the ground and slightly revolved. He caught himself and used that very momentum to flip into a low crouch as he came into a sliding stop.

Sapped of air, he gasped for air as he watched his opponents confidence rise. "hehe, interesting. These two must be Taijutsu enthusiast, everyone is standing around to give these two room, careful not to interrupt their unison. Guess I'll have to take these guys out first. Right! its settled them." Though he'd long since recovered he remained kneeled appearing to be hurt and vulnerable, waiting for his opponents to bite like the hapless little fish they were.

They came at him all at once, converging overe his crimson figure with a tinted flame far more intense than his own attire, smothering him to the point he became nearly nonexistent. His figure, unrecognizable midst the intense flames, turned a moment too late it seemed, and as the one responsible let loose a most intense cackle, the prey would be written off as dead. Too bad they would be all wrong – and too late at it, to boot.

The prey acted on instinct. With but a brief seal his body would sink into the ground just as the flames batted his back. Intense heat riddled his armor, which carried residue extreme temperature even after he had sunk into the earth. But uncomfortable or not, one thing was for sure; he was intact, and relatively unscathed. His adrenaline pumped overtime as he swam across Gaia''s endless rivers, losing himself in a slightly peaceful state for just a mere moment before reminding himself as to why he was there in the first place. And then, it happened.

Just as a solid plan began to formulate itself within itself, the prey would feel the world around him crumble, once free earth frozen solid as what appeared to be a giant hand scooped him out from underneath and forced him to the surface. What he saw as he emerged made him grimace. It seemed the prey had now become the prisoner.

Duped, fooled , gulled. Three of many comparative phrases that could have described the cunning tactics Masuyo used to keep himself alive during brutal combat that threatened to write his very existence off from the world. He refused to be put down in the books as some history log, at least not anytime soon. kneeled before his opponents, blessing them with a false sense of security, a wry, yet clandestine smirk stretched across his face as they bolted forward like famished sharks through water after detecting even the faintest drop of blood. One came in, fixed on a linear path whereas the other breached off with a curved run that seemed to have Masuyo's righter most flank in mind.

Masuyo continued to sit there, feeling his opponents come closer and closer, until they had walked right into his trap. He'd taken them by surprise by beginning to express his mastery over his clans art, taking his chakra suctioning abilities and spreading it evenly around his body, coating himself in what appeared to be a fiery chakra. The ninja, oblivious to his clans abilities continued to rush forward. The one that approached from Masuyo's from reached him first - as expected, welcoming him with a lunging elbow to the chest. He did not flinch, he did not falter, and nor did he attempt to dodge, refusing to act in the most assumable of ways by taking the hit head on.

The blow held some force, but it hadn't been anything the Jounin himself couldn't handle. His right arm uplifted in retaliation, curling his fingers about the mans wrist, keeping him locked in and in close proximity, beginning to not only absorb the man's chakra from his Kyuin, but from his chakra vacuum as well. reducing his chakra fast and hard. But then came the second, directly parallel to his right, the fool. He had no idea that Akadou had the ability to reduce their opponents body's to a statue with a simple touch, which meant that a simple task such as pulling his ally into his own attack took little to no effort. Masuyo had done just that, moving his opponents body for him in a quarter circle, aligning his head with his partners in coming kick. The force kicked him away, but that had not meant that Masuyo would release his grip, nay, instead it was still locked onto his wrist like an iron claw as he feel to the floor limp and paralyzed.

Bewildered and confused, the assailing (second) shinobi knew not what to do after landing from his fully powered kick. Luckily during his time of confustion a window of opportunity was created that allowed Masuyo to launch a kick of his own, namely a simple side kick. The extension of his leg was like that of a bullwhip, amazingly fast and dangerously powerful, which was more than enough to achieve Masuyo's desired effect, getting some distance. Knocking the secondary ninja back some 4 meters, it left Masuyo's free hand open for some quick Ninjutsu. Speeding through a set of seals while concurrently kneading the necessary chakra for Doton, the ground beneath the kicked shinobi began to crack and excavate at a rapid pace.The solid rock beneath the area's undergrowth began to churn and twist, coalescing around the targeted shinobi, growing closer and closer, until, it finally crushed him.

Now, what to do with the paralyzed fellow?

He would emerge from the depths a few moments after recognizing his capture, slowly but surely coming forth under the control of barred earthen prison formed around him. The prey, now the prisoner, could see the chakra flowing through each piece of the prison through is gifted eyes, and for a moment, he would fake awe. Crouched and still, his imprisonment would play out for the moment, if only so that the hidden elements he had let slip before be revealed now. His ascension slowed down to a stop just a few meters above ground. For the moment he saw nothing, only crumbles of excess dirt falling off the edges catching is eye.

Come out...come out...

After a few seconds, the prisinor's cage tilted in the direction of a still standing man some ten meters away. Clad in black, his visage would be remnant of the fire toting foe faced earlier; if that was case, then had he access to two releases...? No. Just as the Uchiha dwelled on the possibilities, a second figure in black would emerge from the earth. It was obvious now these two were the culprits behind the elemental attacks and, sensing they had trapped their prey, felt no more need to flex their muscle. Interesting – Sharingan revealed their chakra was waning; hmm...

“So..."

"...to whom do I owe this honor to...?”

His voice was calm and collected, though it'd be the only voice heard. His “captors” simply scoffed and laughed, though one took it a bit further - after letting loose a scream, he pulled a knife and attempted to charge the prisoner. However, at this point, the other would grab his hand before the weapon could leave its sheathe, using his apparent superior strength to hold him in place and prevent anymore violence from taking place. Seeing all this unfold before the prisoners eyes would be cause for a most unique hum, his mind working at a million miles a second while he processed a brand new plan.

Yes...it's perfect.

Busting out of this place was always an option, but it'd only prolong the inevitable, as well as waste too much chakrra. Time to end this; now.

Masuyo looked down at his floored and paralyzed victim, analyzing his form with alarmed yet, exhausted eyes. He wished to close them, to cut them off from the material world and privilege them with hours of rest, however, the time had not been appropriate for such a blessing. Instead he had to deal with the incessant combat and desire to survive that the life of a shinobi commonly entailed. He wanted to end this quickly, and with that in mind his free hand sprang to life to dive deep into the depths of his hip pack. Going right for what he desired, he retrieved a standard kunai and gripped it in a reverse blade fashion before bringing it down across the paralyzed man's neck with a wide, arcing swing of its cold edge.

Quick, sprays of crimson paint splattered across Masuyo's frame, tainting his already dirtied skin. Releasing the mans arms from his own cold grip, Masuyo turned his attention towards the remaining shinobi that surrounded him, unfortunately he would only catch a glimpse. His hands came together in a single seal, calling forth his trusty hidden mist technique while having concurrently activated his Kagura minds eye. He swept through another set of seals, yet, one of the remaining ninja continued to speed forward, apprehending Masuyo with a series of thrusting fingers. A Hyuuga?!

Masuyo hadn't been given much time to react, but what time he did have were used to kill his line of handseals and activate one of his most powerful clan techniques once more. His body coated itself in licks of chakra as the Hyuuga rushed, however, a quick escape card had been played on the field. He slipped into the earth, leaving a ivory gift at its surface, while Masuyo himself began the phases to his great escape.

The two argued some more as the idea of cleaving the Uchiha in half appealed more and more. While they had appeared to be calculated, intelligent attackers before, they tossed it all in the wind for the sake of their own personal gain. Arguing loudly, it seemed one favored toying with their new found victim until he passed on, while the other wished to stick with the plan. At this time, while both continued their heated argument, the Jounin would let his chakra run wild; it was time for the all-seeing eyes to perform their magic.

“Oi...”

“...will you guys....shut the fuck up?”

Silence. Their heads swiveled in place as the expression was returned, though one would do so slower than the other. The more calculated and level headed one would be the cautious observer, while the violent partner seemed heated at the comment. But just as he turned to return the insult with some wrath of his own, the psychotic assailant would find his body, much like his mind, go blank. Nothing; nothing at all. And then, without mercy, EVERYTHING.

“I can do it for you...”

A world of pain and suffering would take over the masked man's psyche as he stood in place, silent, drooling on himself. From going completely heated to being as quiet as death made a big impression on the partner nearby. He looked at him for a moment, grabbed him by the shoulders, and shook him in place. It was a minute or two before he realized the source of the mood swing. Slowly but surely, he turned to the Kumo Jounin....

"Dealing with Hyuuga is stressful, there is no hiding from this guy, I've got to outsmart him. . .or. . .overpower him and everyone else! Thats it!" Stretching into the earth itself, Masuyo 'swam' through its dark depths, distancing himself from the Hyuuga while a single hand fell into a single seal that triggered his own dropped tag. The trapped fires blossomed and covered 5 meters worth of land in all directions. The concussive force rocked the earth which allowed Masuyo to feel the destruction left in its wake as his hands came together into a long string of handseals as his body commenced to knead a massive amount of chakra.

Concomitantly the Hyuuga focused on his escape from the explosion itself by expressing his knowledge of Shunpo, bursting forward faster than the wind itself, coursing through the pervasive mist at near untraceable speeds. It had been a razor-thin margin, but he hadn't gone fully unscathed; he undoubtedly escaped Masuyo's gifted Kunai, but at a well paid price. His back had been scorched and singed, tearing asunder his clothes and flesh as the unpalatable scent of burning flesh filled the area. He came to his knees and cringed in pain as his all seeing white eyes remained hard at work, pinpointing Masuyo's submerged position. Unfortunately his efforts had been fruitless once Masuyo's preparations had been completed. "Yes this is it, its complete"

As his handseals came to an end, the Jounin's chakra transformed from its timid state to a raging wave of power that sought to overtake everything in its path. The earth began to falter, succumbing to long intervals of tremors and quakes as it shook the earth to and fro as life itself soon began to take shape.

The illusion would be weaved without mercy upon the greedier of the two men, the user of fire which, like his element, attacked me with relentless passion. He was the one whose actions would remind of the many selfish men I had encountered in my travels, ones quickly and easily slain as I did the world a favor and rid it of such nuisances. The same men that would betray an ally, men without morals , rules, beliefs; such was this man, and as they argued, I finally discovered my means of easy escape.

“I do believe I have your attention, don't I...?”

My voice, deep and predatory, would taunt my prey like a cat's purr as it surrounded a captured rat, ferocious yet eerily gentle. The man, wide eyed, froze in horror as he became aware of his predicament yet ultimately unable to change his fate. His intentions to do his own and disregard his 'partner' had all but been lost, and at the notion of this, the other would abandon his furor thrown my way; he was too busy trying to understand what exactly had happened.

“...good.”

“Because I require all one hundred percent.”

Words dipped in a truly evil essence slithered from my tongue like the poison of an exotic snake, its deadly essence taking its sweet time to reach the desired destination. Despite my entrapment, the Genjutsu Sharingan placed on the man would create a diversion large enough for me to break free. The Doton user had established a solid prison, but with his concentration waning, so would his control over the earth. Any moment now...

As the earth faltered beneath, tremors of earth transcended across the land in an instant, leaving those above confused and in wonder. Within seconds a massive beast emerged from the earth below, Young masuyo crouched proudly upon his monstrous creation. A small sheen of blue chakra gathered at his feet which essentially glued him to the Earth Titan's shoulder as it mightily billowed from the ground itself. A deep and rasp snarl came from the being of earth, expressing its wrath and anger intensely. The Titan stood with an approx height of 50 meters, towering over the victims-to-be with a sense of dominance that told countless warnings.

The mist still lingered about, but unfortunately the only one able to fully see all that transpired was the Hyuuga whose all seeing eyes pierced the mist and everything within it. "Its time to end everything. . .NOW!" His voice crashed through the air as his Titan's foot raised and slammed it back into the ground which caused tremors of earth that reduced the balance of those nearby. Following up with the next strike, the giant hands of the titan curled into a solid fist as its right arm raised into the air, cocking its fist back for a powerful blow that was intended on smashing the Hyuuga's ally's, namely as a way to reduce his help and to see if he'd step in to save his comrades. But just like the cold creatures shinobi always were, he left his hapless allies for dead, watching them die one by one while knowing there was nothing in his arsenal to stop the Titan's rampage.

With everyone perished beneath him, his eyes set themselves upon the Hyuuga once more, but, no attack was issued, instead, words were offered - a proposition. "Hey! I'll spare your life if you tell me what the hell is going on. Why are so many platoons stationed out here in this forest?" A question came to mind, one of which Masuyo was eager to learn the answer.

Sensing danger unfold before his very eyes, the Doton user would momentarily let his attention leave his apparently crazed partner, choosing instead to lock onto the one that he had deduced was responsible for the sudden craze; me. And just as he laid eyes on me I'd smile, though I had not truly projected my haunted vision onto. No...for as soon as he moved to prepare some seals in what I could only imagine was his way of stopping me, I had already made my own move. The orders had been given, no doubt whatsoever.

Do what's in your heart, heathen...

Projected via crimson lenses were these hostile feelings, imprinted on the suddenly stunned Katon user as he continued to lock gazes with myself. Having had displayed some form of disagreement with the Doton user earlier, to the point he nearly attacked him, this man has been a prime target for my Sharingan Hypnosis. As legends whispered, the technique only manipulated victims to the the extent they would naturally act; in this case, violence was the daily special. With a mere thought, the deadly message was sent – let the violence begin...

“It seems you've misjudged you're partner...”

“...FOOL!.”

The man's seals would never finish for as he passed the fifth or sixth benchmark, the possessed Katon user would plunge a kunai attained from his satchel deep into the man's back, ceasing any current chakra molding as well as his normal life processes. It was the shock that had detained the Doton user more than anything, but as if that wasn't enough, as soon as the first found it's mark, I urged the man to bury yet another'; and then another; and then another...

Within seconds, I'd be free – time to end this.

Stuttered words and broken sentences came from the Hyuuga's mouth as all confidence faded from his spirit and swapped presence with a chilling source of fear. He took a deep breath and attempted to prevent his speech from faltering any further, as it could have resulted in his own death. However, his impatience had in fact provoked Masuyo who had been disturbingly desperate for answered. The layers of chakra that laid beneath his feet were relinquished as he leapt forward and down towards the hyuuga while he concurrently charged his hand with special paralytic chakra. Like a plummeting eagle he descended upon the Hyuuga tackling him into the ground as his right hand palmed his chest which caused his body to submit all of its control to Masuyo. With his free hand his fingers dug deep into the Hyuuga's collar as hits fingers curled inwardly as to firmly grip it while pulling him towards his face.

"I won't ask again, why are you guys here!"

With a few deep breaths and a hard gulp, the hyuuga finally found his words with the weight of fear behind each of them. "Ok ok, just. . .calm down I'll tell you every thing you wanna know. I'll tell you now, I don't know much b-but our boss, our squad captain had been going crazy for the past weeks, babbling about some ancient transformation from old animals that turns you into a walking ball of power. . ." Masuyo paused momentarily, a look of bewilderment falling upon his face as he tried to make sense of the matter. A ancient transformation gifted by a. . .animal??? What kind of nonsense had he been given he couldn't tell but he'd be damned if he didn't find out.

"Ancient transformation? what?! Damnit that makes no sense, is there a name, some alternative word that actually describes what he's looking for?"

It wasn't unusual for Masuyo to have been inquiring, besides this mans platoons attacked him and got themselves killed, on top of that he was curious as to exactly how much prower this transformation could possibly give him, maybe enough to gather up the proper amount of money to save his own sister, and maybe his village? Perhaps. The Hyuuga shook his head, implying that he knew nothing, but being a seasoned ninja - Masuyo knew better. Releasing his grip, he kept his paralyic hand upon his chest while retrieving a kunai with the other and commenced to press it heavily against his neck before leaning forward in anger.

"Spill it, you must know something, its bad for squads captains to leave his subordinates in the shadows, especially his key players. . . so I'll ask again, give me a name!"

"Alright alright! he called it something else a-a uhhh. . .uhhh. . . fuck, something about transforming into a Sage? sage of the six paths mode i think yeah yeah thats what he called it." Thanking the Hyuuga for a honest answer after minutes of threatening him, he rewarded him with a unconscious rendering blow to his forehead with the butt (ring) of his kunai. Having extracted the answers he wanted, he looked up to his titan and asked it a question as if it had the capacity to respond.

"Interesting, wonder where we can find this seal big guy."

With a series of jumps, he scaled his 50 meter titan once more and positioned himself upon his shoulder as the earthen duo pressed forward, heading towards that cloud of smoke once more which had by then been barely visible.

The blood that sprayed from his wounds was indeed a very bright, bright red, emerging in the form of a pressurized stream as each foreign object was removed from the man's back. His eyes, very wide and riddled in shock and disbelief, echoed what I had predicted to bring. Now, as I smiled and continued to communicate murder into the eyes of the weak man behind him, I licked my lips, letting the prison around me crumble in place as its owner's chakra no longer owned it. Now, as I knelt midst the rubble, one kneed down while the other flexed, I would prepare to end the frail, enchanted man.

“I wonder...”

“...how...does it feel?”

I would of course receive no answer from the man, his body slumping forward as his once conjoined hands disintegrated, the seals they held lost forever. Now, with no more life in them, they swung to his sides as his front slammed forward. Although most kunai were gone, a few metallic pieces remained embedded deep within his lower back. The rest, while gone, had left an undeniable mark onto the man, the gaping gushing holes of scarlet serving as testament to the Uchiha's ability to provoke pure evil.

The possessed man, stuck in an endless and maddening loop, got on his knees and continued to stab the corpse, mutilating it slowly but surely until it was nothing more than an exposed piece of flesh. It was now that I'd choose to act; ten meters away, I approached slowly, the cackle of a maniac growing in intensity as I heaved it forth...
