Screams, he heard so many screams, so many different times of screams.

So. Many. Screams...and how lovely they were! Having engaged in murder moments ago, I had let my psyche travel down a deranged path, to the point I had almost discarded morality completely – that is, until I saw the child. Expecting a human in general up here would be a treat given the level of control they had achieved over such a beast – clearly they were a master of Doton – but for brat to be the master of this puppet? Today was seriously full of surprises.

The child proceeded to sit in a meditative style, an eerie glee oozing from his words as he addressed me. It was so odd – his body, his facial expressions, all that of a child. But...his control over the beast; I could see chakra pouring out from his body and into the earthen titan at impressive levels. Just what WAS this kid..? I was curious. As such, I'd put up with him – for now. My tone, stoic and unnerving, echoed my emotionless stance, my body crimson and still. We were but a few meters away from each other.

“Faust...”

“...and my reasons are my reasons alone – you don't see me prancing on your business, now do you...?”

Though I could initially be concerned about the battle around us, the titan, for now, was dealing with the smaller enemies below with ease. However, this was not to mean their lines would all be decimated. No. They too possessed skill, and if the beast didn't act soon, a sufficient counter would exist that'd bring the whole thing down. Until then, I mused, I'd indulge in the youth's oddities.

“Where do you intend to go?”

This man, who Masuyo came to know as Faust stood readily just meters away from upon the shoulder of his Titan. His heart had to have been racing along with abundant amounts of adrenaline that pumped into his veins, he seemed unable to relax at the time, granted given what he just went through. Luckily the spare time he acquired by riding upon the earthen beast would have allowed him time to recover and replenish a fair amount of chakra if even a little. Nevertheless he was welcomed a brief moment of relief by yours truly, what he did with it had been entirely up to his own discretion.

"Hehehe I guess I don't, but I wouldn't mind if you did! hehe. . ."

"Well right now I'm going anywhere where money is, ya see, i've got to save my sister no matter wut but i haven't had much luck with that so far."

Openly divulging his objectives and goals to Faust, he looked up into his eyes and took interest to their crimson glow, of which to the young child, seemed like the coolest thing in all the worlds. He wanted a pair of his own but given how he recently answered his previous question, Masuyo decided to wait just a tad bit longer. At least not without knowing the man further.

"I'm Masuyo Kekkai of the Akadou clan, Nice to meet cha!"

The way he did things were always switched around, like opening himself up without first honoring others with his name, or recklessly attacking first and asking questions later. He was without a doubt a Jounin in skill, but even still he was just a child. His head turned forward and peered off into the distance which only made him realized, he lost sight of where he was going in the first place.

"Question! Where are we headed, I kinda lost sight and its hard to see stuff above the trees n' junk."

Money...? The boy would intrigue him further as he mentioned his means for causing such earthen disruptance, and once again, I was taken back by the child whom was far from it. My eyes narrowed as his glanced my way, and for a moment, both of ours would meet – gazes were held, Sharingan going to work as it bean to slowly but surely divulge the truth which I made him believe. He was a boy, yes, but he was also a powerful one. What he carried within was untapped, and what he could do now would only get better under the guidance of experience.

“Little Masuyo...”

“...help me finish these maggots off. Turn the beast around.”

Every order given was one I knew he'd do naturally, the basis behind my Sharingan Hypnosis. The choice to lock vision with mine was his and his alone, and although I'm sure he did not expect this result, I would not be blind to my new discovery. So then, it'd be incorrect to abuse it – let's clean up first. At one point I too wished for money; however, with the discovery of my newest pet, I had attained a new goal. If it was money he ants, then that is what he shall get.

“We share a common enemy and a common goal...”

“...care then, to follow?”

My outstretched arm was more symbolic than anything, but it gave away my intentions. I had plans for this boy, yes, and while my main goal still existed, a side passage towards training him a bit to fit my needs would certainly not be a waste of time. Let the tutelage begin.

His eyes widened in a brief moment of shock, which soon turned into excitement as a large childish grin swept across his face, reaching from ear to ear. Masuyo had always been a child for adventure, ready to accept any with open arms an level of optimism that exceeded the average child. Although he'd have little time for fun the longer it lasted as each unproductive pedal of time that falls from his sisters life tree, her lifespan shortened. It seemed as though his luck finally took a turn for the better, now willingly setting on an adventure (hypnosis or not) with Faust which could have quite possibly garnered the money he needed.

"Sure thing, ya might wanna hold on cuz this ride is gonna get bumpy!"

Upon his own command the Titan came to a solid stop, still standing within the flooded forest of mud, with its next movement it turned around as fast as it possibly could have, facing the opposite direction before taking off at a even faster pace than they had been just seconds ago. Faust seemed pressed for time, as if he'd been searching for something; Masuyo refused to disappoint. Slapping the earthen flesh of his giant pet, its walking speeds had only gotten faster. Making their way back, he looked up to Faust once more, inquiring about his intentions.

"So. . .what now, whaddya got in mind Old man?"

I didn't notice it at first due to my slight arrogance, but after listening to the boy's excited speech, it dawned on me – this boy actually wanted to come along. In fact, there was no need for Sharingan to feed deceptive illusions to the one whose bright eyes engaged with mine, for the youth had already established his wishes before me. Feeling a dominance in this new found relationship, I would nonetheless keep crimson alive; I enjoyed this view of the world.

So...

Who was I kidding. This boy was just that – a small runt, a spec of life, a fraction experience that had plenty of time to make mistakes and learn from them. The ground he needed to cover I had left behind long ago, making a return trip nothing more than an exercise in futility. Why then, I wondered, did I find it so hard to just up and leave? Just as much as I had him locked within a world of dreams, it seemed he has also frozen me. Interesting.

“I have come to take back what's mine...”

“...those men, they took it.”

Simple and clean, I provided a basic explanation so that no other interpretation could be drawn. If this boy was looking to join an adventure, then he'd best know what exactly it was that I wanted so as not to waste time. Unbeknownst to myself, the men below prepared a combination strike, several elemental jutsu aimed to topple the beast. For now they charged, leaving us to have a few more moments of speech. I would add a question of my own.

“Little Masuyo...”

“...just where exactly did you learn your...'tricks' from?”

My gloved hand motioned to the beast, making it obvious I inquired about his Ninjutsu skill. For a boy his age, only one answer could explain – where then, I inquired within, did his original tutelage come from...? Still, quiet and observant, I'd eagerly await an answer.

“I have come to take back what's mine...”

The took something from Faust? Oh boy how hard Masuyo related to such things had been quite scary, especially for a young shinobi of Masuyo's age. It wasn't a good feeling at all, to have somthing that you cherish or value taken away from you without your say in the matter, it ate away at the sound and the consciousness. It spawns vengeful urges and acts of revenge, it was something Masuyo hated, and from his expression of words, so had Faust. But maybe, just maybe if the two truly worked as a unit, maybe they could support one another in their darkest times, as the two had not been the most bright individuals to walk to earth. How could they be in such a world?

". . ."

His hands that land upon his tattered pants clenched, curling his fingers through the fabric in a sudden, quick second long moment of anger. He couldn't help but how his village leaders and council took his sister away from him, using her as a specimen for their sick experiments to further their ninja outside of normal means. They took her away from him, leaving him along to fend for himself for weeks upon weeks, and each time she seemed more sick than the last. As he say there, his head tilted down, eyes covered in shadows, a twin stream of tears rolled down his face as he clenched his teeth. Behind his own rage and hate, Faust enemies now registered themselves on the same levels as the council members of Amegakure.

"They took everything from me too. . .Never - Never again!"

Immediately after his outburst the titan found itself bombarded with a plethora of Ninjutsu, granted damage had been calculated, however, it was nothing strong enough topple the mighty giant. With that extra measures had been taken, drawing from the massive earth source beneath them without the need of seals, coating his Titan in Earth Spear Essence. Its flesh became a silvery black, now as hard as the most durable metals. In addition to this the Surrounding area's ground began to break apart piece by piece, beggining to surround their enemies from all sides with large earthen rocks that gathered in one particular area, crushing everyone within. Wrapped up in his moment of anger, Faust' voice surmounted his attention.

"Oh. . .hehe uh. . .I actually learned it from my sister, she was one of the three sannin from amegakure of the previous generation."

Though I could not hear the boy's story, the pain behind it was enough to prompt some form of sympathy on my behalf, the kind one good comrade tends to bring out from another. Once again I would be surprised by the depth behind this initially shallow-looking entity, this youthful and immature existence that seemed to grow exponentially before my eyes with time's passing. Feeling the joy of the discovery gush from within, I would not hesitate to let my chakra rage. Yet even then, I remained still and observant.

It was quick but noticeable, especially under the careful watch of Sharingan. His fist, tight, would serve as the final indication that he was indeed ready, the proverbial nod in the direction of the nefarious plan I had hatched not too long ago. Once happy, this child now wallowed in anguish, experienced his pain and remembered why he was angry – in an instant, then, this child could be trained to destroy. Wonderful!

Pain and anger...

...I could easily use those on him.

But it only got better. As twin crimson continued to observe the child, my mind's eye would interrupt my previous thought in roder to flood it with all things Ame – that's right, this child was a product of the Hidden Rain Village. Whether a direct shinobi or simply a relative of one did not matter. His skill was not one to be ignored, and given his age, his growth was all too enticing. And it was at that moment that something weird happened, something previously unseen for quite some time – Faust smiled.

“Ame, huh?”

“Let's go there some day...”

My voice trailed off as my smile subsided, and for the first time since we had met, my eyes left him. They favored the skies around us and above the ones that currently attacked us. They were eager; eager for what was to come. My chakra, it was almost done...

[Messatsu!]

“Ame, huh?”

“Let's go there some day...”

Dispatching his foes once and for all, he cleared the way for whatever Faust had in mind, but before that, he smiled, which in turn caused Masuyo to smile as well. For now his Earth spear essence removed itself from the Titan's flesh as his chakra reservoirs were running quite low, however, not yet depleted. He'd still been able to maintain the titan alone, however, anything else that demanded an extensive amount had been out of the question at that point. Slightly exhausted, he fell back once more, spreading his body out like a snow angel before taking a quick breather to keep his chakra stable and from depleting.

"Huuuuugh, I used up quite a bit of chakra there, but dont worry, I'll be fine!"

Laid out upon his back he continued to watch Faust prepare what Masuyo could have only described as a Jutsu, judging from the time it took for him to gather his chakra, it was probably something that dwarfed his own Titan in terms of pure power.

Ready. Whatever forces the giant had not taken care of, I would now. The essence of Raiton was flowing within me now, a great power ready to emerge and finally reclaim that which I had decided would be “rightfully” be mine. A flurry of seals were reproduced, an uncanny speed causing the appendages to blur if one of primitive eyes were to observe the process. My eyesight still had remained in the firmament, but I could feel the boy move. Laying down? It seemed he too had a limit.

“Kick back, my child...”

“...I wanna show you something.”

The skies, once blue and tranquil, began to rumble in response to my call. The darkness surrounded my periphery, and within moments, terror from above would make itself known. For I, a proud warrior of Kumo, and one that walked along lightning itself, would not be ashamed of my skill; no, I would truly let it shine. With the giant being still, we were a sitting duck; that is, unless I intervened. The boy needed to see my power, my will. It was the only way to make him apart of my majesty; God's Majesty.

“I want to show you possibility, Little Masuyo.”

“Possibility...through power.”

And then it came. At once and without warning, a deafening blast shot from the skies above, thunder unlike any other streaming in the form of a beam of lightning. It showed no mercy to those below once it crashed, the forty meter sphere moving at impressive speeds in a perfect circle around us, so that any remaining assailants were dispatched. After a few seconds, the giant beam would loose its shape, until it was naught.

“Now then...shall we?”

Special: Summons a powerful thunder storm that emits thick, blasting bolts capable of tearing through even the strongest of earth. Distance at which the user can summon the storm, as well as the diameter of the laser storm blast depends on the user's highest 'Karai Shin' rank. Requires the user to hold a single handseal and be still while charging and moving the bolt; breaking the seal and moving leaves the laser storm still on the last location it was until it can fire no more. One turn is required in order to summon the storm, and it can be held for 1 turn, plus 1 more each time retrained.
Description: After the necessary handseals are created, a strong thunderstorm descends from the skies, darkening the clouds and inciting a cold air about. Quickly after, a powerful thick lightning bolt descends in the form of a straight, constant flowing thunder beam. Light blue in nature, its radius spans in a circular, spherical pattern, and its constant output can destroy even the hardest of surfaces. The user guides the bolt whilst holding the a single seal, and must keep eye contact at all times with whatever it is they wish to target.

Peering up into the sky as he laid upon his back, Masuyo noticed that the sunlight within the sky itself began to severely dampen as if the sun itself had been extinguished by some absolute power. It a sense thats exactly what had happened, however, the source of that 'absolute power' was none other than the mentor and ally Masuyo recently acquired, Faust. The plasmid bolts and lights were facinating, a power that easily dwarfed his own in more ways than one.

"wooow. . .no way!"

In and instant souls were plundered from their physical selves almost as if the biblical rapture itself showed no mercy upon those within the general area. Needless to say the newly formed duo was safe - for now. With that their adventure continued elsewhere, the Titan still used as their means of transportation.

Kinship is what some would call it, though I, a soul darker than the night, would not acknowledge such a title. Still, as much as my murderous rage condemned life within others, this one did quite the opposite. Anger subsided and fury quelled, I would decide that for once, glory was a path worth sharing. Well then, on to the next...?
