The day did sure seem to flow by quickly. Almost too quickly, Helios thought to himself; he still had a lot of things he wanted to get done today; another mission, finishing his game of chess, taking out the garbage, preparing his own dinner, such and such. Looking at the hanging clock on the wall that was the shape of an awakened Sharingan, he noticed it was only 4pm, so he didn't think of having too less of time to get his things done. Staring intently at the clock, he remembered what his mother used to say about it, how his ancestor worked closely with the Uchiha clan, and as such was a gift kept in the household for many decades. Turning back to the small table in which he kept the newly purchased chess set, he began to set up the pieces accordingly. It seemed rather all too simple, he thought to himself, that at least Shogi produced a more tactical approach to the game of taking pieces and in certain movements.
Before minutes passed, Helios began to grow less and less fond of the game. But then again it only cost him very little in the first place, especially for something marked as an "antique". Regardless, he realised that he needed some sort of action, something to do that involved working his body. Evidentally, from what he'd done so far he began to realise that the outer world isn't all sunshine and skittles; it was dangerous, even for high ranking shinobi of the village. He would of chosen a higher rank otherwise, but instead decided that he should remain low for the time being, sticking to the usual boring D rank missions tasked to him. Still, he needed the training to up his chakra control as well, but it seemed that by doing these menial manual labour tasks he was beginning to feel and increase in his own strength, in his own control of his energies. It was almost as though he could feel like he could just hold his hand out and freeze everything in front of him. Of course, he couldn't. He'd tried earlier.
Sitting up from the chair he had lounged at, he began to look around to make sure he wasn't forgetting anything. However, this time he decided he would leave his smoke bombs and explosive tags in his room; for a D rank mission he knew he wouldn't need them unless some random goat decided to attack him. Even then, his kakkou would see to it that the goat wouldn't be standing for much longer. Taking the items from his pouch, he left them scrambled within a small container so that the grenades wouldn't roll off the desk. Taking a stride towards the door to his house, he left to the streets.
