Roatsu Kekkai sighed, looking around left and right as a warm, humid air licked the back of his neck. The heat within Hi no Kuni in comparison to Ro's own country proved to be remarkably refreshing. The waves of heat within Kaze no Kuni were absurdly dry, leaving not a single room for moisture to entire the atmosphere. Even though he adored his home and would forever remain loyal to the Village and its military, there were still times when he felt like he stayed inside the country's borders for far too long. Unfamiliar with the terrain and the general area, he gazed at the norther horizon that rested just above the forest' canopy, quite amazed by its beauty.

His dark orange hair, a trademark to the Kekkai clan, reflected a brighter tone of orange beneath the fading sunlight. A quick pause in his strides were taken as he adjusted himself slightly, hiding his face behind the stealth threading of his black hood. Though his face remained cloaked for the most part, enough of his face was revealed so that only his nose and lips were distinguishable. The rest of his face (upper portion) remained veiled in darkness. Truthfully he held no intention of hiding himself, keeping his face covered was merely a habit picked up while living under the intense heat of Kaze no Kuni.

His bare arms remained open to the world from his sleeveless hoodie, red and white wristbands upon each wrist accompanied by a pair of black sweat pants and shinobi sandal. To top it all off the famed symbol of the Kekkai clan crest was neatly woven into the back of his hooded shirt. Not wanting to waste any additional time, Ro's steps continued as they settled lightly along the loam of Hi no Kuni's forest. He had not known entirely where he was, however, he was determined to find the hidden leaf village. Walking down a clear dirt road (about 5 meters wide), he continued to walk past a column of trees on each side, each one seemingly taller than the last.

"I wonder if Yuu and the others are doing well."

A figure soared through the skies with black wings, clad entirely in ANBU armor, figure hidden. The sun, in her unmatched grandiosity, gleamed upon the flying man with a bright smile, a sharp contrast to the grim frown hidden behind the mask. The chest piece and leg guards had been dyed black to match the ebony wings, giving Jiyuu a truly bitter, stark appearance. The lower parts of his legs, uncovered by armor, carried scars inflicted by flames, the wounds several days old. They caused no more pain, but the scars are cursed to forever remain.

The wounds were inflicted upon him in a fierce battle in the Upper Yard. So many citizen died, blood staining his calloused hands, but his task, the defense of the city, was well done nonetheless – or so he supposed. Still, he felt the slightest hint of guilt creep into his senses whenever Jiyuu recalled that battle. With heavy heart he continued to soar through the skies, winds tenderly caressing his cheeks. Truly the day was beautiful, distinctively different from the horror that occurred in Konohagakure.

His steel grey eyes shifted downwards to spot a figure both shrouded and in the distance, fifty meters beneath. The Hokage could not determine who the traveler was, and he felt a compulsion to inquire – for these were his lands and he could not allow the same horror to occur here as in the Land of Thunder. Legally, the daimyo were required to defend the lands, aside from the village, Jiyuu presumed, but he knew better than to place faith in the pathetic, dirt-scrounging, shitebag bastards. Descending to a height of thirty feet, Jiyuu spoke, voice slightly muffled by the ANBU mask.

With a deep, booming, resonating tone the Hokage spoke,”What brings you to these lands, traveler?”

While he did not recognize the figure, Jiyuu showed no hostile intend, but rather a curiosity betrayed by his posture, upper body leaned forward,”These lands are not safe to travels. As Jiyuu took of into the lands of Hi No kuni I would follow up behind not with as great a speed as him, but it wouldn't really be hard to keep up with Jiyuu. I figured that because the man was one to make entrance, even when it wasn't needed he seemed to love his ability to fly through the air. "That man and his wings." I would say with a slight smile gracing my face as I enjoyed the walk, It was relaxing to walk somewhere without having to worry about someone attacking for no reason. It was a feeling of carelessness while I was in this place, it was actually pretty normal for me to feel this way but today it just felt weird because I wasn't in Kumo. Was it that it that my body felt more at home in this place, or was it because I was following behind a man that is either equal or more powerful than me that gave me this careless feeling. "Don't move too fast Jiyuu-Sama, I gotta keep up ya know!" I would shout out slightly raising my tone towards the Hokage so I could make sure he heard me from the distance they were apart from one another shortly after that he watched as the Hokage descended towards a location, I figured he must have spotted someone or something of interest. Sliding my mask over my face I would make it through to the area that the Hokage had landed in it I would catch the end of his speech just hearing the last couple of words that came from his mouth. He spoke something of a cult that wandered the lands of Hi no Kuni, It had seemed no place was perfectly stable every village had there own set of problems that they had to deal with. “Well, Jiyuu-Sama I guess I’ll have do something about this cult, they must be a bother to the village.” I would say as my eyes shifited over to other boy, he didn’t look to much older than myself and he had orange hair. It kind of reminded me of that boy from the desert, it’s not every day you meet a kid with pumpkin colored hair. “Wassup bro?” I would say as I raised my mask from over my face, now everyone could see my face and the boy would catch glimpse of my beauty mark which is my missing eye. Silent footfalls marked what Ro believed to be his unseen passage through the road. He knew very little if anything at all about the trails throughout Hi no Kuni, but if there was one thing he'd have been absolutely certain of, it was that their roads weren't nearly as populated as those of Kaze no Kuni. Deeply, he wondered why roads such as these were so vacant, there must have been a reason! Something was definitely not right. The road -along with the general area- lacked marks that hinted towards the presence of others. From what he initially gathered from quick observations, the prints of his steps seemed to be the only indication of existence along the road.

A quick pull of passing winds threatened to removed the black hood from covering his most of his face and hair, luckily, a quick reflexive hand held it down. In the swiftest of moments, Ro's own thoughts were drowned out by a encroaching noise. To the best of his abilities, he described it as flapping paper. Tracing the source of said noise, it appeared to have originated from above and only grew louder, a tell-tale sign that it was only getting closer. Content on not drawing in any attention, he merely continued walking instead of looking up to acknowledge whatever caused such a sound. That was until the flapping ceased and swapped presence with a remarkably deep and authoritative voice.

”What brings you to these lands, traveler?”

”These lands are not safe to travels. Rebels in Konohagakure scurry the lands, scrounging for the weak to rob. The Hungerer’s cult seeks to expand their borders. It it not safe for you here.”

Manners, as a mere infant and toddler, he was taught to have them no matter where or how far he traveled - compliments of Ro's mother. It was because of that principle, and that principle along that he drew back his hood and looked upon a hovering man. Everything about him was now discernible to all eyes with his most noted feature being the Sunagakure headband -which oddly seemed scarce those days- wrapped around his forehead.

"A ninja, flying?! Eh?! Since when?!"

He had to have been a ninja, considering the ANBU armour that shielded most of his fleshy body from initial harm. If he'd have been incorrect in his inference, he'd have needed to take a step back and readjust his observational skills. Controlling his sense of surprise, he noticed yet another masked man, which wasn't exactly good. There was a possibility that the two men wished not to harm Ro, however, being approached by two masked men hadn't exactly been a warm welcome. Instinctively his right hand reached into a pack fastened to his right thigh, palming a mere kunai in a reverse grip before holding it out in front of his chest, arm bent at a 90^o angle. Suddenly the second -and smaller of the two- removed his mask, revealing a face equal in age.

"I'm pretty sure that no place is truly safe, even yer own home. I guess I should thank you for the warning whoever you two are. Speaking about safety, its not really ideal to approach another while playing dress up with clothes like that."

The man spoke some truth. While the Daimyo restricted war, the lands were truly at a rage, with bandits eager to unleash their wicked desires upon travelers, and straggling shinobi irritated with the way of the world. It was somewhat saddening to know that man could not live in peace even when it was enforced by the powers above. Such a realization truly sat heavily upon Jiyuu’s heart, not from the lack of violence, but because he so often sought it out. The Shikigami was truly a bitter, delusional man so far beyond redemption.

He nodded curtly, removing the mask to reveal the roughly shaven face of the Hokage. His facial hairs seem to have been shaved by a rough razor blade, as one would presume from the poorly done task, its appearance worsened by several cuts from a quick shave. Steel grey eyes stared down at the traveler, heavy bags of exhaustion resting beneath. Jiyuu appeared truly ragged, completely and utterly so, without the slightest care given towards bettering his appearance.

The wings flapped, carrying him to the grounds to land twenty meters away from the hooded traveler. With folded arms, Jiyuu spoke,”These lands belong to me. I am Jiyuu, Hokage of the Leaf. It is my duty to protect the travelers, but I cannot always do that, so a warning must do at times. I do not want more deaths on my shoulders.”

[/i] Jiyuu looked over the hooded boy with an intense gaze, drawing in his every feature.

”Now then, I will ask again. What brings you to these lands? A minor…incident in Kaminari no Kuni makes me worry for the safety of my own lands, and should I spot a traveler, I simply cannot let him go without proper questioning.”[/i] While Jiyuu was a completely and utterly horrid man beyond redemption, he still attempted his best at keeping the lands safe, even if it required an utterly foolish revelation of his true position, his true nature.

Simply, the Shikigami could not allow a tragedy to occur within Hi no Kuni, for enough blood already stained his hands. The Upper Yard, where he was partially responsible, and the murders within Konohagakure. While he was not directly responsible for the latter, the deaths on the citizen were inflicted due to his inattentiveness. What a fool he was.

My eye would constantly check over the boy's figure as we complete after I spoke softly, my hand would slide slightly over the hilt of my blade. 'Can't be too careful now a days, you never know what people can be up too.' I would think to my self as the Hokage continued to hover up above, it was truly a special ability that man has his body seems to be composed of complete paper. That just wasn't something a person you see everyday could do, but my attention would shoot back to the boy for a second catching brief eye contact with him I would then look over his figured to see what village he hailed from, proud of his village I spotted the headband on top of the boy's forhead. 'Sungakure, haven't seen one of those headbands in ages.' I thought to my self as my head slightly tilted to the side.

But these simple thoughts quickly changed to defense thoughts as the boy began to reach for a Kunai, my hand would quickly adjust back to my back gripping a Kunai of my own from the bag that was located on my left hip. So in the same instant the boy drew his Kunai mines would be revealed from it's holder, there was no evil intent behind my actions it was only a precation that had to be taken when someone drew a Kunai on him. 'I hope it doesn't come down to a fight right now I'm still kind of tired from my most recent battle.' I thought to to my self as words began to fall from the boy's mouth in a orderly fashion, it had seemed the other boy had a strong sense of humor.

A short smile would cross my face as my grip on the Kunai decreased slightly, it had seemed the Kunai was only drawn out because of the mask. I didn't blame the boy for taking the precautions to protect his properly, because the last time didn’t properly protect my self I lost something that was super important to me. ‘Must be battled tested.’ I thought to my self as I corssed my arms across my chest, the Hokage would finally drop from the sky removing the mask that covered his face as well. He would began to preech once more, his words were the reason that Bit had even found him self in Hi no Kuni so he knew that the man had a way with words so he listened as he introduced him self. ‘A good way to put it.’ I would think to my self as continued to look over the boy’s figure holding the Kunai, it wasn’t much he could do with that Kunai Bit hadn’t even try to work his special eye Jutsu on this boy yet, he felt like he wouldn’t have to this time because he had Jiyuu with him.

“No need to be so tense, we aren't after you bro we just wanted to find out what you were here for.... There has been a recent increase in criminal activity in these lands now.”

I would what a sort of stern tone of voice, though my voice wasn’t completely matured yet my words would be perfectly articulated so that the boy got my point. Shortly after that my arms would unfold my right hand placing the Kunai back into my bag, while my left hand found it’s way to the back of my head. ‘I wonder what he is here for.’ I would think as I awaited the boy to answer the Jiyuu’s simple questions.

The grip upon Ro's Kunai fastened even more the moment the flying shinobi relieved himself of his mask. His face looked rough and looked to be an aged man on the surface, a war veteran perhaps, no, he seemed to be far more that what he initially looked to be. The aged-man went on to speak and soon announced himself as Jiyuu, Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. Ro's left eyebrow raised, surprised that of all people to have run into, it was the hokage of the Hidden leaf, ex-enemy of both Kirigakure and Sunagakure, but that was years ago. A new generation of shinobi were thrust into the fray, chasing a more meaningful cause than their predecessors. Nevertheless, Ro listened as the man went on about protecting the travelers of his country and then an incident within Kaminari.

"Kaminari? The land of lightning, what could have possibly happened there?!"

To his knowledge, Kaminari and everything it entailed was heavily guarded by powerful shinobi, so an incident there must have meant this was no ordinary event. What happened exactly? Ro's face twisted in confusion and tried to make sense of Jiyuu's words as he noticed the boy who accompanied him whip out a kunai of his own. Neither party had done anything to provoke the other and as long as it stayed that way, casualties would be kept to a minimum.

“No need to be so tense, we aren't after you bro we just wanted to find out what you were here for.... There has been a recent increase in criminal activity in these lands now.”

The smaller ninja of the two spoke out some seconds after the hokaged, motioning towards an increase in criminal activity within the lands - Nuke-Nina?! Having been told about the recent incident within Karminari no Kuni along with an increase in criminal activity, they caught his interest and he desired to know more.

"I'm here just to get away from home, nothing more, nothing less. More importantly, you guys should tell me more about what happened in Kaminari."

Paper formed in Jiyuu’s palm and within an instant morphed into the shape of an enormous bear, each fold perfect to imitate the shape of the terrifying beast he fought in the Upper Yard. ”A master of the earths, a summoner, assaulted the capital of Kaminari. The battle was brutal, the casualties in the hundreds. It was a rather…unfortunate incident for which I am partially responsible.”

[/i] Jiyuu grumbled with a deep tone, lips barely moving as the words left his mouth. He glanced into the distance, gaze lingering on a nearby tree.

”To be exact, Bit Kuroso, the boy you see with me also fought. Along with a man spitting forth lava, and tamer of lightning. A snake-man later joined but did not fight. The Upper Yard was the central of the battle, bestial bears tearing through the lands. There is no need to explain the exact details of the battle. All that matters is that it is over. The summoner and I saw no more point in fighting. The crusade goes elsewhere.”[/i]

Jiyuu was wary of this traveler, for the Hungerer’s cult spanned many, and it was difficult, if not impossible to determine whether this man belonged to the cult. Likely he was not part of the rebel forces as after all, he was outside the Konohagakure walls. Regardless of what this man says, he cannot be trusted. Jiyuu knew better than that. In war, soldiers lose their honor – even he has when he burned a church, the ashes of numerous scarred remains forever on his hands. ”It is foolish to travel in the domain of another so I do not entirely trust your motivations for traveling. You have received an answer, now I wish for a proper one.”[/i] Jiyuu grumbled sternly, steel grey eyes narrowed. Perhaps he was being too paranoid.

Or perhaps this child could be conscripted into service – a rather brash decision, but fortune favors the bold, something the Shikigami hoped for as he asked a rather direct question, ”Regardless of your motivations. I give you a choice. Join me, join Enstehung, a freshly formed organization dedicated to liberating the shinobi from the Feudal Lords. Dedicated to fighting for those who cannot fight. Dedicated for glory. I know my proposition is rather direct, but it is necessary. The same goes for you, Kuroso.[/i]

As the boy spoke I placed my Kunai back into my bag, there was no need for it any more. If worst came to worst I'd be able to control this situation if I'd have too, plus wit Jiyuu by my side the boy in front of didn't pose much of a threat. 'I think it's time for a hair cut.' I randomly thought to my self as I continued to rub my head a little, my hair was getting to be pretty long and mom never wanted it o get too long because then it would even more sloppy than it naturally did.

Shortly after the boy spoke, Jiyuu began to explain exactly what went down in the capital of my homelands. I was kind of ashamed that I was a part of the destruction my self, but what had to be done had to be done we wanted those men out so we had to battle until they were gone. 'It had to be done.' I tought to my self as I continued to rub my head while Jiyuu talk, he even made a paper bear to show the boy exactly what we were up against. But the was one error I heard in the story, the man that was the cause of all this trouble was a wind user that seemed to be pretty talented as far as the ninja arts go.

"Wait, Jiyuu I thought a man who controlled Fuuton Chakra was the lead to all this, I was sure I had gotten a piece of this man with one of my attacks."

I would say in somewhat of a stern tone before Jiyuu could present has preposition to the to of us. He wanted us to join an organization, one that was against the Diaymno that controlled the hidden villages. This was of course a great cause to fight for, but joining something soo soon even if it's the Hokage leading it doesn't seem official. My face would twist a little after he asked the question, it wasn't a disturbed looked more like a thinking face that he young boy was making.

"Well an organization you say, Jiyuu-Sama I told you I'll work for you to bring my cousin back to Kumogakure....... But this orgnization who exactly is in outside of your self?"

There was much evidence that Ro's inquiries were paying off. After becoming comfortable with the situation, it seemed the younger one of the two placed his kunai back into its pack. Ro followed suit, considering it was a sign of docility. Unarmed once more, Ro diverted his attention to the Hokage once he had begun to describe the incident within Kaminari no Kuni's capital. Allegedly a master of earth and a summoning assaulted the capital of Kaminari. As Jiyuu's words began to deeply drill into Ro's eardrums, a perplexed expression fell upon his face once the man mentioned him being a summoner. In general, summoners were far and few, especially those who carried enough destructive power to topple an entire capital which housed capable fighters.

”It is foolish to travel in the domain of another so I do not entirely trust your motivations for traveling. You have received an answer, now I wish for a proper one.”

Another eyebrow raised while giving the Hokage the classic 'are you serious' expression, feeling that he'd been overly paranoid about a mere 13 year old child. Nevertheless, he wanted to know more about this attack and who managed to wield enough power to commit such an act of crime and bring them to justice. Unfortunately, before he could continue on with another series of questions, the Hokage made a proposal. Ro had been given the opportunity to join an organization, one whose apparent goal was to dethrone the Feudal Lords.

"Removing the Feudal Lords huh? It sounds, sorta interesting, but, what would I get outta this!?"

The Flawless Prodigy trekked through the woods outside of Konohagakure yet still within the boundaries of Hi No Kuni, he wasn't prepared for any leave or adventure yet. Instead all he wore was a suit, a fine italian well made suit for events that required of him to be classy, or so he assumed it was. Just his way of acting cool and appearing nice this fine day.

The katana he held over his shoulder, hand on the hilt in preparation of any sort of signs of provocation towards him. Even though this was his territory, he had to be alert for what lurked here were rebel's, a cult that had been spreading within Hi No Kuni which contained highly trained shinobi including a few ANBU that betrayed there village, they disgusted Itsuki.

He continued moving through the area, the weather was nice as the soft winds brushed against his face until he noticed a group ahead, most likely shinobi. Moving silently and quick to reach at least hearing distance, as he began to slowly close the gap between them with a step at a time. He had no plans on attacking them but he wanted to learn what they were speaking of, he stopped behind a bush near them but was able to pick up on the speaking, the bush concealing him.

Hostile was what he was at the moment as his headband was no where near him at the moment, himself being nothing more then a leaf shinobi. Of course he was an amateur when it came to gathering information yet this was nothing more then a joke to Itsuki. He just wanted to test out his abilities, if he was good enough.

Now he began listening to the three before him.

Jiyuu shook his head and sighed. ”No, the summoner was the leader of the attack. Who do you think is more fit for a leader? Someone who spits a bit of winds or someone who calls forth bears that are more than twenty times our size?”

[/i] A shiver ran through Jiyuu’s spine, for fighting beasts so enormous was not a pleasant task. One strike, and he would have met a cruel end. Thankfully the Shikigami flew, else the battle would have ended rather grimly.

Enstehung had been formed only recently, several days ago, and the recruitment had just begun. That he would make known. ”Enstehung is freshly formed, therefore currently I am the only member. I have gained several allies, but now I truly require men to join me, fierce warriors. Everything begins somewhere, and this begins today, truly.” Even if the grounds will be stained with Jiyuu’s blood, his crusade will not end, for it is a divine task, a task of true freedom. Is that not what man truly wishes? Liberty.

A frown spread across the Shikigami’s face as he glanced over to Ro. Candidly, he did not like the boys expression – but Jiyuu knew better than to let miniscule things irritate you. ”What would you get out of this, that is a question I expected you to ask – after all, men are guided by profit. Freedom. Is that not truly what you want? You are in lands that are not yours now, and a spiteful Feudal Lords will surely accuse you of abandoning your village. Hence, they will call for your death. Do you truly wish so little freedom that you cannot even travel without the risk of the wary eyes accusing you of betrayal? Do you now live the caress of the winds in your hairs, the sweet gleam of the sun. The Feudal Lords will take all that away.”[/i]

As Jiyuu spoke, his frown turned into a downright sneer. He felt a complete and utter hatred for the Feudal Lords, evident not only by the sneer, but with the clenched fists.

He answered my question but it seemed a bit sarcastic, he hadn't seen the power that this man that controlled the winds held during that fight. 'Tch.' I would think as I shrugged my shoulders slightly as I remained alert of the entire situation, but now my mind had space to wander for a few seconds at the Hokage continued to speak thoughts of the battle flooded his head. I couldn't hope to think about the boy that Jiyuu spoke off, I never had sight of this boy but now I knew the man that I fought wasn't the cause of the attack.

"Well sense it begins today, Consider me a tool of war, I don't know how this whole thing is going to work but when times come it won't be hard to find me."

I would say as patted my hand on my chest, but it had seemed the Hokage wasn't done. He contemplated the Hokage's words as their eyes met once more. He spoke towards the smaller and much younger shinobi with a sarcastic tone, pointing out the obvious regarding the attack on Kami no Shima. That man, whoever he or it was, had to be insanely powerful to destroy the capital of Kaminari. It was hard to know whether or not the story was being embellished, however, from what he initially gathered, the task itself was easy for the mysterious assailant. Ro smiled as the Hokage gave his long winded retort, motioning towards the dethroning of the Feudal Lords being his reward for for helping. He expected more, perhaps money, power, or maybe even a scroll or two, but as he thought about it more and more, removing the puppeteers of the shinobi world would be remarkably satisfying.

Quickly his attention turned to the smaller one, listening intently as he quickly agreed to join this group. Ro himself also had it set in his mind that he wished to join as well, however, unlike the other boy, he wanted something more. He decided to take advantage of this situation to potentially milk the hokage of something unobtainable within Sunagakure given the absence of a leader - scrolls.

"My name? Roatsu Kekkai. And before I actually join this group or whatever, you wouldn't have a problem loaning me a kage bunshin scroll now would you? you see where I'm from, those scrolls are far and few, and I could really benefit from it which only allows me to help you hehehe."

Without farther ado he ran off into the distance silently, distancing himself farther from them quietly just to make sure of his success of escaping would rush off even farther till he entered the safety of the guards. He had nothing from stopping himself with staying here and it would be a waste.
