Instinct had settled, and with one limb incapable to defend, you had to acclimatize, and convert to another. Survival of the fittest didn’t necessarily fall directly upon one’s strength, but one’s intelligence and aptitude to adapt when cornered. While the Uchiha was by no means the strongest—he had that inherent flare that would carry him for years to come.

After analyzing the first attack almost immediately, he had registered what happened and compiled a vague postulation. Regardless, while posing a defense, he dually required a more thorough analysis of his opponent’s ability; which ushered in another limb. A body that could not only absorb attacks, but completely neutralize whatever touched it. And from the appearance, it also seemed as if the boy took on the chattels of water? If his thesis was correct, he would be able to do the same thing again, and as such, while completely hindering his ability to frontally combat, if escape was possible, he’d have enough to combat effectively against this subversive individual.

However as he spoke, and allowed the Uchiha admission back into sovereignty, the scarlet-haired Shinigami smiled faintly. If they were to ever fight again, at least that ability would be ruled unproductive from this point forward. “I owe you? Hardly. Nonetheless, as Prospecting Hokage, you could be of some use to me.” Ryūsuke announced his upcoming title, which should have sparked some interest for the man who stood before him. Though enough, If more information was given about this Oinin’s rather unique ability, he could prove a precious asset to the village as a enigmatic instrument of some sort.

Watching the long haired Hidden Leaf shinobi all the while he couldn't help, but blurt out in a short lived fit of laughter upon the man's words. At least the first half, with the second half sparking interest in his mind and causing his laughter to end abruptly. Raising both brows a smirk of devilish quality began polluting his face before taking some time to respond to the possible future Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Folding his arms he'd close his eyes, using a nonchalant expression and demeanor to reply. "Then let's make it official, let's head to the village and I'll wait for the polls to close and see who the winner of the Hokage title is. And hopefully it's you, cause trying to impress another Hidden Leaf individual sounds like a real bore. So c'mon let's go, I wanna get to hunting as soon as possible."

This Water entity—his humor was something else. After this ephemeral dispute, and all the nonsense he spewed, did he really believe the Uchiha was going to enthusiastically allow him admission into the jewel in which he’d most likely be charged to protect with his life? Ignorance was truly bliss, and while actually accepting the offer without considering the repercussions seemed more favorable to the man who seemingly stood not even a yard off, the prospecting Hokage was no fool. Imprudent entertainers would only be enticed by such an offer, and while Ryūsuke was gentle, he wasn’t unsophisticated. An exchange had to occur before he could possibly agree to such terms.

Clearing his throat with a simple cough, almost disregarded to those who didn’t pay much mind to the boy’s lip area, Ryūsuke would eventually transition into dialogue. “Before I even consider that, what is your name? And describe your abilities to me.” The Uchiha announced with the expectation that his demands would be met without acrimony. The initial rationale behind his annotations was simple; gain understanding of those you didn’t understand. A newcomer could easily be an infiltrator, and while a simple name plus information on his exceptional ability did little to root out invasive intentions, it was a start. Secondly, if one was to work under him, a thorough understanding of said hired-help would need surfacing. A man of his stature should have little problem giving such little information in return to gaining something as valuable as allies and revenue.

If his stipulations were candidly met with honest answers, then the two could begin their modest journey back to the Hidden Leaf. However, if the main garbed in multicolored wears decided his patience was being tested and decided to attack, this battle wouldn’t end with the former—Ryūsuke having already devised a number of counter measures to not only outlast, but stay within a sensible distance to inflict the most devastating damage possible. A key combatant held vigilant eyes, and knew when to boast his strength. This Oinin knew nothing of the boy who stood a mere meter in front of him. This couldn’t be circumvented however.

A moderately timed pause was ended when the Hidden Leaf shinobi said something that irritated Fuu to no end. Was this idiot really thinking that Fuu would give up information on his techniques and such? He wasn't even going to give the runt his name. Unfolding his arms he'd give the boy a disgusted look before turning on his heal and waving the Hidden Leaf shinobi off. Possible future Hokage or not, Fuu wasn't about to someone's bitch boy, he was ok with an equal alliance, but for Fuu to give up the entirety of his abilities? No way. "Forget it, I'll just continue to free lance, or go see if the Fire Daimyō is hiring."
