“Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can - there will always come a time when you will be grateful you did.”
Day breaking over the horizon of the, sun kissing the sky with it's presence, birds filling the air with their song. Chirpity chirp chirp they would tweet from their branches, heavenly notes painting the daily atmosphere of the forest. It was that special time of day in the green ocean of trees known as the fire country. The time of day when all the woodland creatures would begin going about their day, the wanderer no exception.
Having risen a little bit before the birds, he'd throw what few clothes he owned on and prepared his breakfast before the long day of adventure ahead of him. Cooking up a few eggs from the birds above on a makeshift skillet of salvaged iron over a fire. For some flavor and diversity he'd also toss on some of his garden grown vegetables and a new spice had just found the day prior. Tasting it a little before to get some idea of what it would be like. Delicious was the word he used.
With all the speed of a hungry bear, he'd finish cooking the food and devour it decisively. The nutrients would certainly help focus his mind with the forest style scavenger hunt he had planned for the day. As quickly as he pulled them out, he'd pack them away and square away his sleeping site. Knowing that if he left something out the many beasts that roamed would obviously steal it. Rather than risk that, he'd tie it all in a large sack and hide it in a hidden hole he had dug. Pretty resourceful if you ask me.
With his living quarters tidied and secured, it was time to depart. His goal today would be to gather a few hard to find herbs and store them for later. While this might seem easy to some, anyone whose every scoured an ecosystem for unique flowers will tell you it's definitely no walk in the park. Especially since the ones he was looking for tended to grow in the oddest, most annoying of places. Good thing the wanderer lived by the old adage "Nothing ventured, nothing learned."
Walking out into the forest, orange clothing adorned his body. He definitely stuck out, like a giant safety cone or a very large carrot. Large blue boots on his feet didn't help make him any more conspicuous either. Underneath his orange shirt, a black one would be visible, similar to the ebony sash style belt around his waist. The final distinguishing factor of his appearance would be the yellow sphere with a black kanji on it in the middle of his shirt. It stood for wanderer or most literally "One who knows no home".
