Sprawled out on the floor in the dark corner of a neon blue colored room, a young man slowly opened his eyes. The flickering of fluorescent lights above him bounced against the surrounding mirrored walls, creating a strobe light effect that was rather annoying in his current inebriated condition.

”Why don’t people switch to more reliable light sources already… cheap… ass… gah!”

The man’s words caught in his throat as he felt his esophagus coil. The reflex reaction from an oncoming vomit took over him as he fought in vain to prevent it from occurring. Tilting his head to the left as not to throw up onto his own face, the young man blew his chunks about the cold, marble tiled floor. While normally he would feel bad for doing such a thing, the vomit in this case really only added to the preexisting filth and squalor that had not yet been sanitized off the very “used and abused decor.”

”Clean up, aisle eight!”

The young man turned onto his stomach, unknowingly rolling directly through his newly made puke puddle. Not that it was of much consequence, considering his only remaining garment was the headband he wore loosely around his neck like bandana.

”Just… just let me find me… got to be decent… *hiccup*…”

Grasping the sweat and fluid drenched golden pole that was the centerpiece of the small 10 x 10 foot room, the young man propelled himself forward like a naked, human-dolphin out of water, gliding towards the exit door.

”I am… almost… there… “

But before he could reach his destination, the door unexpectedly swung open. Bright light flooded in from the hallway, causing the young man to bury his head under his arms to avoid it.

”What the hell are you doing boy!?”[/color] a rotund and bald Caucasian male bellowed from the doorway, staring down at the bare assed patron still sprawled out across the floor. Two scantily dressed young women waited impatiently behind their bouncer friend outside in the hall, shaking their heads disapprovingly.

”Hurry up, Hung! Just boot him out already so we can get this next client in here for a double team,”[/color] one of the women groaned, stomping her six inch platforms against the ground like a spoiled child.

”I’m not home right now...” the young man responded wearily to the trio, continuing to keep his head buried in his arms like an ostrich in sand (metaphor, not fact).

”Kyuu, you alcoholic loser, freak, worthless… get the hell out of here!”[/color] the bouncer roared back. Grabbing the young man by a handful of his hair, “Hung” dragged Kyuu’s naked body out of the VIP room and into the hallway.

With a forceful shove, Hung pushed Kyuu out of the rear exit to the club and into the adjoining alleyway, causing him to fall over naked into a row of aluminum garbage cans. As the young man struggled back to his feet, the forehead protector tied around his neck slipped loose and fell to the floor with a thud. The metal plate bearing the leaf insignia bounced off the ground, the clanking echos of metal rattling through the narrow corridor. Puke adorned his chest along with the remnants of the frothy bile similarly smeared across his lips and thinly trimmed beard.

"And take your junk! Don't come back next time unless you got more ryo and a sense of decency, you freak!"[/color]

With that, Hung tossed the young man his shinobi garments, scattering the separate pieces along the wet, dirty concrete. It was the final act of embarrassement before the large bouncer slammed the door shut, leaving Kyuu to contemplate his fate. Barely standing and still naked in the desolate alley, the Genin looked down at his fallen forehead protector, wondering how he had stooped so inexplicably low.

Slowly and humbly, Kyuu gathered his clothing and prepared himself for the journey back to his home - - Konoha.

Basically you rp as you'd like. Your own comfort zone if you will. Traveling is easy to understand. You post as though you're traveling from one point to another, PM a mod to move it after the one post and that's that. Right now you're in Hi no Kuni. To get into Konoha you have to post in the gate to enter Konoha and essentially your character is now in Konoha. Simple as that, if you've got any other questions let me know. Keep in mind if your character doesn't know the location of the hidden village he can't simply walk up to the gate. But since you're a Knonha ninja, your character obviously knows the location.

I was fairly certain that I had reached Hi no Kuni long before any messenger of the Mizukage's, but I definitely didn't want to chance it. More than likely, there would be a standing "kill on sight" order placed on him. I won't lie and say that I was too bothered by it, though. I might've overreacted to a certain degree, but the Mizukage had crossed a boundary that no other living man had. I'd like the emphasize the word living, people.

Whatever the case, it was just best if I didn't return to Konoha at all. Not even tell to her what happened. I had other means of gettin' her attention, anyways. For instance, how I got her to come to the Pearl.

Chances were, she'd probably never be caught dead in here without a very good reason. Back in the day I would jest about her sexuality, but I knew better than anyone that she flew straighter than the most precise of arrows. So, I simply tipped some dumb gennin a couple of ryo to deliver a message for me. No names, no strings attached - just a physical description of my babe, one that no other in the village could boast that they possessed. She'd definitely be hard to miss, to say the least.

"What can I get'cha, honey?" the broad behind the bar asked, leaning forward so that her low-top vest barely held her bust. "Yer lookin' kind of down in the dumps."

"Lemme get a bottle of sake, please." I smiled a forced one, but it could've passed for a genuine. "And. . . a gram of the blueberry, please."

"I like your style." She winked before disappearing behind the pillar at the center of the bar. It wasn't too long after that, that she appeared with the contents I'd ordered. It was surprisingly cheap, and came with a blunt as well.

"Much appreciated." I didn't even bother waiting for a retort, but instead took to guttin' the blunt. I won't say I was a master at the art, but I was good enough for it to only take me several moments to flush it and fill it with the blueberry yum-yum I'd just picked up.

Knowin' her timing, I figured she'd be right behind me as I took the first, long, beautiful drag.

I had never been a patient woman; it was obvious to even a stranger in the way I carried myself, but this sinful trait of mine was more pronounced in my head today more than ever. The day was horrible, starting with the heart-stopping realization that I had lost my reward ryo from a recent mission and progressing to a pair of sleazy Genin stalking me for the better part of an hour. They took their good ol' time trailing me and staring at the exposed areas of my body before finally working up the courage to meet me face-to-face; by that time, I was prepared to gouge their eyes out with a corkscrewed finger and a dab of chakra. Luckily for them, they managed to spit out a message before my anger flared too high, and the information was decent enough that I even countered with a thank-you.

Now, as I studied the plump—almost overly-muscled—man in front of me, I wondered if it would have been a more intelligent idea to simply rip the boys' tongues out before they were able to speak. "Hey there, beautiful!" the bouncer greeted, grinning in a way I could only describe as being a mixture of admiration and genuine friendliness. "They call me Hung. And you are?" I pondered silently over any possible lascivious thoughts he may have had before a smile tugged at my lips, pulling them taut and showcasing their natural lushness. "Hung, hm? I hope you live up to your name--" I trailed off breathlessly, lifting my hand to run my fingers across the upper portion of my abdomen; they 'accidentally' brushed the swell of my breasts, exposed by my oddly-cut jacket. "My name is Orihime. A friend called me here for a little chat, so I hope you don't mind if I go in?" The pseudonym was harmless at best, and Hung drank it up without a second thought, waving me in and watching as I slunk past him, trying to be the epitome of sexy.

The only man capable of convincing I did, in fact, have a minute amount of sex appeal was currently seated across from me. The lurid fluorescent lights burned my eyes, but with a squint I was able to make him out, along with the bar bitch flirting with him—any other woman might have gotten jealous, but I knew our boundaries well. Quickly I adapted to my normal, effortless gait, quiet as a rabbit as I sneaked up behind him. Some of the other patrons were staring at me, probably caught off-guard by my dark skin, or more likely the lemon hue of my hair. These were normal occurrences for me, and whether they thought me pretty or not still stroked my vain ego. Then again, I reasoned with myself, there is a slight chance they noticed my new accessory. Where I used to keep my jacket's collar zipped up over my mouth and nose, now it was opened at clavicle height, tanned flesh concealed beneath a neck piece made of bone. The half-mask, fortunately, was missing for this endeavor.

I flashed a burning glance at the tender, willing her to be silent under the penalty of my anger as I finally stopped behind Namitsuki. My nose twitched from a recently-lit blunt, and I noticed immediately the fruity scent of it while leaning over his shoulder. Quickly I clamped my teeth down on his earlobe, tugging playfully, the perfect punctuation for my greeting. "You know, I always pegged you as a Big Bud kind of man. Myself? I prefer a little White Widow." I breathed a laugh into his ear and brought my arms up to circle 'round his shoulders, giving a light hug in the process. "You called me?"

Right on time. As I expected, my beautiful blond-bomb shell arrived merely a second after I'd sparked my fruity friend. I choked back a laugh, wheezing the smoke from my nostrils and clenched teeth. Leaning back into her hug, though not enough to unbalance her, I found myself able to relax for the first time in several days. This whole Mizukage business wasn't that big of a deal at first, but at that point in time it was startin' to grind my nerves. "Eh, I've been in the mood for change as of late. Blueberry just sounded delicious."

Raising my free hand to the cusp of her hug, where I could grab both wrists, I'd gently pry her arms from around me. At the same time, I'd slowly spin around in my seat to face her.

"Which brings me to my next point." If there was one person in all the world that knew me, it was her. So, the fact that Hebi -- my only weapon -- sat beside me with a companion, should've been the first sign that something was off. I wouldn't blame her if she didn't notice it, though. The little details seemed even smaller right now. "I was recently sent on a mission to Mizu no Kuni. Was supposed to get an alliance with 'em or somethin' like that."

I paused for a moment, taking a long, excessive toke off of the blunt before gesturing to Kaoruko. "And, well, lets just say the Mizukage and I had a bit of'a scuffle."

Whether or not the exchange of gifts actually took place, my free hand would've took to the expose flesh of her abdomens. They danced aimlessly about the copper tone flesh, gravitating toward the tattoo I put on her when we first met.

"Needles to say, I won't be returning to Konoha."

I felt his body relax into my own, and that was the first hint I had that something was amiss; my gaze instinctively swept over the area to obtain clues as to what this meeting could be about. I noticed his blade, the Hebi, taking up a seat not unlike a friend would—bam! My eyes widened a fraction but I concealed most of my worry, instead focusing the power of my emotions into a glare at the back of his neck. This, too, passed just as my wrists were grasped and the Jounin swiveled in his chair to look at me.

"Yes, I heard some tell that you went on a risky mission. Did yo--" he cut me off gruffly, clarifying the situation with a horrifying sense of calm. I barely felt the touch of his fingers as they grazed the tattoo he had given me, the most beautiful flaw my body possessed, and certainly my favorite. I blinked slowly at him, once, twice, the pieces of this puzzle sorting themselves out in my mind like a very complex and obscure plot. Finally, I settled for an expression that betrayed my bewilderment, but also conveyed the surge of disbelief I felt—it was like a bullet to the chest. "You WHAT?" I practically yelled, snatching the blunt from his gesturing hand and popping it between my lips. I took a horribly long drag, satisfied when the sweet smoke curled into my lungs.

Just because I could, I took another drag before removing his prize from my mouth and offering it back to him. I enjoyed the burn immensely and did not want it to go away so soon, but I knew there were things that needed to be said. So I held it in, a talent practices and precise, just like myself; the only downfall was the dropping of my voice by an octave. It sounded rough, unnatural even to my own ears, even though God knows I love to hear myself talk. "Of course, that is not necessary to say ... The Hokage will be furious with you. Once word reaches him, I have no doubt he will send someone to find and kill you, assuming a Kirigakure shinobi doesn't do that first."

At last I exhaled, my lips morphed into an o, so that when the small amount of smoke was expelled it took on that familiar donut shape. At length I smiled a benevolent smile, aiming to make it seem like I was forgiving him for a silly mistake, as a parent would a child. I pressed my palm against his cheek, focusing his attention up on my face as I murmured, "Well, they don't call you the Fastest Man Alive for nothing, do they?" I laughed, then switched to a serious whisper as I added, "Where are we going to run to?" He wasn't leaving without me ... not again. I forbid it!

Honestly, I felt like a teenager that had just got pulled into the office for a fight. I wanted to cry out that it wasn't my fault - in my opinion, it really wasn't. I didn't tell the prick to rip up the note - and that he had started it, but bit back the urge. There wasn't a point in acting like a child, not anymore. I had a lot more at stake then I had ever, and Kaoruko and I's relationship hung delicately in the balance.

But what she said next caught me completely off guard.

"Where are we going to run to?"

My eyes, though hazy from the smoke, almost snapped open at the realization of her words. The first time I left the village, even though it was for training, she had decided to stay behind and further her own skills. I was a lot younger then, as was she, but the unspoken passion between them was undoubtedly just as strong. Now, in what could easily be said to be my most dire moment, she was willing to leave everything behind and come with me?

The mere thought almost made me melt in her hand, and like a sick dog, I leaned into the crescent of her palm with a feverish desperation. Ignoring the blunt, to where it would simply fall upon the floor, I pressed my palm to the outside of her hand.

"I. . . " I love you, the one thing I'd never been able to say to her. "I don't know."

As quickly as my emotions had fluttered to the surface, they were once again suppressed beneath a multitude of pros and cons that defined my personality. Snatching the blunt from the floor, and then stealin' another hit, I leaned back against the bar and exhaled a thick, burning plume from the depths of my lungs.

"I was thinking about hittin' around Sunagakure, or somewhere. I mean, the world is our playground now."

His reaction to such a simple, innocent statement soothed the rest of my worries, like a wave from the ocean smoothing out footprints on the sand. My smile widened genuinely and I pressed my fingertips a bit harder against his cheek, showing him through action rather than word that my support was eternal. Likewise, that which went unspoken did not allude my knowledge; it meant more to me, because if one did not say the words they could not be an empty promise.

"I don't know, either," I repeated, my hushed tones heated, as if I had repeated the phrase—a statement that had more than one meaning. Finally I pulled away from him, sauntering the short distance to the stool that housed Hebi; I drew a finger along the blade's hilt, caressing it like I would a lover. Namitsuki was the only man I had ever been with sexually, but that did not mean I was not knowledgeable in the areas of lust and persuasion via my voluptuous body. The bartender was watching me, and now she was finally flashed a sultry grin in acknowledgement of her presence. "I'll have a scotch. Nothing else."

The mention of Sunagakure piqued my interest, and I turned back to him, tilting my head curiously. Why anyone would choose to go to that decrepit, humid, hot hellhole I could not fathom, but it was not my decision in the long run. "The village hidden in the sand, hmm? You don't want to take our little vacation somewhere prettier?" I questioned, amusing myself with the word vacation: this was far from a short pleasure trip. The woman returned with my glass and I relieved it from her, staring at the ice floating in the amber liquid with a surge of contempt. I had not asked for it on the rocks; this would have to do. I took a long gulp, nearly draining it.

"I don't need to stay here anymore, Nami. Konoha has given me all it can by way of experience ... It's time for me to go with you, to learn more about the world at large. Maybe get a few more tattoos," I joked dryly, lowering my free hand to the obi partially covering the seal. "Mayhaps I can find a sword as beautiful as your Hebi."

"It was just a suggestion, babe." Honestly, my only true interest in Sungakure was any possible relics they might've have. If we were goin' to live the life of missing ninja, we might as well picked up thieving as well. There were a handful of items that I had my eyes on, all of which belonged to one village or another; it definitely wouldn't hurt to relieve a few of them from their "guarding" duty, y'know what I mean? "I'll take you where ever ya wanna go. Like I said, sky's the limit."

I didn't bother following her as she moved to the seat next to me. Unlike the rest of the chumps in here, man and woman alike, I'd seen everything Kaoruko's body had to offer first hand. She might as well have been walkin' around me naked; I'd memorized every detail, every scratch, and every blemish that had ever graced her. She was, by far, my favorite novel.

"You've already got one," I added when she had finished makin' jokes. "Hebi's got herself a boyfriend now, and I can't imagine anyone else usin' him more properly than you."

I nodded toward the sword crossing over Hebi's sheath, a beautiful long-sword with an intricately decorated handle. Pure white feathers and horse mane, encrusted with gems and jewels of varying hues. Suijin was definitely beautiful, to say the least. "Was the only I did manage to grab before the good ol'Mizukage called for reinforcements."

The blunt in my hand had been reduced to nothin' more than a roach, which I wasn't really a fan of. Ashin' it, I scooped the rest of the herb and placed the plastic bag in my pocket. Naturally, I ordered some more - we'd been on a pretty nice trip.

"Name's Suijin," I said while nodding to the inscription on the sheath. Considering she was a water adept, it'd fit her perfectly. That, and he could always just borrow it whenever he needed to do some serious thrashin'. "It's got some pretty nifty tricks with water."

Surprised was a gross understatement for the emotions that swelled through my chest when he introduced me to the blade; I was forced to inhale very slowly, or face the penalty of making an embarrassing noise of pleasure. Namitsuki knew me well enough to translate the way I widened my eyes, drinking in every inch of the secondary sword I had not noticed until he pointed it out to me, much like the way I was downing the rest of my whiskey. It left a bitter burn in my throat, a direct contrast to the Blueberry blunt, but perfectly suitable to this situation.

"Suijin? Nami, he's ... he's beautiful," I finished lamely, my voice barely a whisper. I set the glass down on the bar top rather loudly, making the ice clink in a way that had my jaw clenching. Sue me—I had a horrible prejudice against the woman that served it to me, even if I refused to admit it to myself. There was no reason to be jealous, and conversely, no plausible excuse to hate her. I focused instead the entirety of my attention on the sword, which I was currently removing from Hebi's sheathe, treating it as carefully as one would a newborn babe. "Now that you've given me this gift, I suppose I'll have to forgive you for potentially starting a war between Konohagakure and Kirigakure. Suijin is worth far more than these petty villages."

After a second or two more of admiration I swiveled to face him; I was sure the excitement must have been etched across my face, plain as the sun in the sky. In fact, I could practically feel myself glowing in response to holding my new partner, made all the better that it had a twin in my oldest friend's possession. "My suiton mastery is still rather low, since I've been focusing entirely on my medical technique these past few months. This gives me the perfect reason to change that though, does it not?" I flashed him a smile, then stroked my hand down the sword's sheathe. I felt against my palm the inscription there, but in my mind I imagined the innuendo I was attempting to convey to the man.

"If the sky is the limit, perhaps we should explore the ground, first? I've always wanted to visit Iwagakure ... My sources tell me that they have a higher concentration of medics there than our oh-so-lovely village of leaves. But—ah—that is only my opinion. Know that I will follow you wherever you want to go, Namitsuki-sama. I want to make up for lost time." It was not intended, so I was surprised to hear my voice drop to a husky purr, as if my mind wished to seduce him without my permission. I decided then and there that the atmosphere of the brothel was seeping into my skin and shook my head, disappointed in my lack of control. Why did he always do this to me?

I won't lie and say that I wasn't estatic at the fact she was so in love with the sword. In the many years that we'd been together, I'd never really got her anything special. That, and a couple of brownie points never hurt when you were in the dog house. Startin' a war seemed like the perfect time to turn over a new leaf, y'know?

"Iwagakure it is," I finally decided, not wanting to play cat and mouse with our trajectory anymore. Lord knows we'd sit there all night trying to figure out where we wanted to go; that was just somethin' she and I could do, and not get bothered by it. "Only been to the country once or twice, but I never got'ta step foot in the village. I heard they've got a nice selection of shades, too; lost mine in Kiri'."

The keeper on the other side of the bar had returned with yet another parcel, though this was far more flavorful than the last: several plastic bags, each filled to the brim with their own assorted cannabis. White Window was a must, considering I knew it was her favorite. With just a few flashy movements of my hand, the several transparent bags were replaced by a small electronic device and head phones. The selection of music was easy to pick out, considering she and I had similar tastes. Her head phones weren't nearly as bulky or noticeable as mine, though - I enjoyed the DJ-style, but figured she would favor the more subtle, sleek design.

"Got all tha' good shit on there for ya'." I moved from my seat, closer to her. Passin' her the newest, and last of my gifts, I took Hebi in my left hand; in my other, her naked hip, once she was finished getting her things. "But it's time to go, love. Long trip to Iwagakure, y'know?"

That, and there'd probably be a few pit stops; definitely one before we left, that was for sure. Her subconscious seductiveness didn't escape my notice, and it'd been a while since she and I had any alone time. Brothel or not, our uncanny sex drive was definitely one of the traits that our relationship so noticeably unique.

I let the gratitude show on my face via a bigger smile, and did not reprimand him when he grasped my hip, making me shiver. It didn't take a genius to realize that our journey together was going to be filled with a lot of exercise, from both traveling and other, more strenuous activities as well. I had never been against our casual sex, despite knowing the Fastest Man Alive probably had other women on the side ... It made me jealous if I thought about it too hard, but it didn't change the fact that I still only wanted him.

Yes, definitely the brothel air.

"Iwagakure? Yes, I believe this occasion calls for a whooole lot of White Widow. You can't go to the Village Hidden in the Stone without ... well, you know." I winked at him, my corny joke tailored to the purpose of making him laugh with the ridiculousness of it all. Without any hesitation I leaned up into his body, pressing a very light kiss to the rough curve of his cheek; it was meant to tease him, for I then escaped, swinging my hips in that practiced way I knew made watching me walk away more interesting. I had no idea how females could walk like this on a twenty-four hour, seven day basis, but in short spurts and for certain purposes it was acceptable.

At any rate, I was almost to the door before I paused and glanced to my side, perking my eyebrow curiously at a patron there. It was some sleazy old man making out with a beautiful woman, and to this I glanced over my shoulder at Nami, my eyes narrowed in an almost accusing manner. "If you want, we could probably stop somewhere quick to ah ... pick up some supplies for the road. But not here." That being said, I slunk out of the door, ignoring Hung as I passed—he was nothing to me, just like all of the men in Hi no Kuni.
