Helios was rather astounded by the fact that he couldn’t get much sleep; normally he would require around ten hours sleep just to be able to keep awake for the rest of the day but, for some unexplained reason, he could only get a few hours sleep and was wide awake as anything. He began to wonder to himself if this was because he was beginning to get anxious about doing more missions.
The boy’s face turned to look at the overhanging clock and noticed that it was only four in the morning, only achieving five hours sleep; only half of his usual sleeping pattern and yet he was ready to climb the stairs of the mission office anyway. With great agility he spun off his bed and onto the floorboards with his back turned to the walls. Quickly he grabbed his equipment from the cabinet and his uniform from the hangers on the door, whipping his clothes on with great haste before setting out the door.
The sky was still pretty dark as well as Helios stood outside in front of his door and taking a look around. The dark violet of the sky blanketed the village of the leaf and a dreaming vale of shadow, all except Helios of course. The breeze was pretty cold as well but the young boy could handle himself; he had handled a lot worse considering some of the missions he had gone on over the last week or so. Regardless of the weather around him the boy began to make his way to the mission office.
