If anything, she was excited. It had been her first mission after such a long time without any work. Needless to say, it was nice to be able to take out a thug that had been terrorizing the villagers. From what she had to go off of, the thug had stricken many areas throughout the village.
Sayuri, however, had pulled out a map and triangulated the area of attacks, noticing that it was surrounding that of a smaller neighborhood towards the eastern side of town. If anything, it could be surmised that his base of operations was somewhere in that middle ground so it would be relatively easy to retreat away once the deed was done.
Needless to say she was quite proud of herself for figuring that out herself. As she turned down onto the street that led into the neighborhood in question, immediately it was obvious that the area got sketchier as she walked. It was prime territory for someone like the culprit.
Well, aren't I a tad out of place...?
She looked around, noting that not many women were walking around. Most wore more ragged clothing compared to her nicely pressed ones. Not only that, it seemed she was the only ninja on the street as well. Talk about a red flag.
Better up my chances some...
Quickly she ducked into the nearest alley and removed her headband, shoving it into her tools pouch just so she could blend in slightly better. Inhaling sharply, Sayuri leaned against the wall of the nearest building within the alley to ponder her next action. How would she find someone that she hadn't seen before, or had anything in the report on?
Perhaps she needed bait? Or maybe she could be bait? That would require two people though, something that she didn't quite have...
