Today, I would fulfill the roll of none other than the verminator. Larger than life creatures were terrozing Konoha, and had even put and end to one unfortunate souls life. This had to end. If these things wanted to run rampant once more, they were going to have to go through me, and I assure you, that was anything but easy. Sadly, I would be entering this mission with little information on the type, size and number of beasts that I was to be encoutering, not to mention they only gave me a generalized location of the beast. All I really knew was that it had to be eliminated.

This tip off Intelligence gave me clued that the large animal was somewhere in the ghetto's of Konohagakure. It had apparently taken refuge here, and claimed a small neighborhood as its territory. The townsmen have mostly ignored the beast, and tried to please it, however, one brave soul, moreso foolish, would stand in opposition to the creature, thus resulting in his death.

So now here I was, tasked with the quick and decisive elimination of the beasts. I would arrive at the neighborhood briskly, its presence made known by the messy and relatively organized conditions ghetto's were so infamous for. The neglect was obvious in this side of town, and news of this beast wouldn't reach Konohagakure's higher ups if it wasn't for the fact that a man died because of it. I continued down the street to approach the site of the killing, hoping to find some traces of the animal to use to track it.

As I inspected the site of the mauling, which was in a dark, dank alley, I would still see all of the evidence still in place. The blood now was dried, and the man's scattered belongings still stood in the exact spots I presumed they were. My eyes looked around, eventually finding brown footmarks going up the alley and around the corner which was about 10 meters from me. Possibly the blood that stained the paws of the creature, I would follow the path in hopes of finding some other evidence of its whereabouts.

The trail would lead to a plethora of ripped and tarnished trashbags, it's fillings scattered neatly across the floor. The smell of rotting would mix in with the already horrid must coming from an unknown spot in the alleyway. Apparently, this thing was getting a little hungry, as I noticed a multitude of chewed up food and bite marks in mostly everything scattered on the floor. This would definately help me narrow down it's location.

I'd have to gather the location of the local meathouses, trash disposal areas, or any other place with large amounts of foods and were isolated from the larger crowds of people. However, I was going to have to do this later because I had just came across an intresting discovery.

The fence immeadiately towards my right had a large, gaping hole in it. Now I'm no genius, but something told me that the creature had went in that direction. Obviously, I would have to atleast check it out.

I would duck down through the fence to emerge on the other side to travel another 20 meters before finding myself at a fork in the road. From the map intelligence gave me of this neighborhood's layout, both lead to a dead end. So in response, my hands would go to work to create a replica of myself composed of pure electricty to take the right path, while I would take the left path. Basically, there was no hiding for this beast now it would be found, and it would be killed.

My ears would be met by the high pitch shrieks of a young woman in distress, thus acting as a catalyst for my approach to the dead end of the alley. Closer and closer my clone and I would get, and then... both my clone and me alike would make out something quite odd. Feverishly growling and foaming, the large menacing maw of none other than a dire wolf, would meet my eyes from 20 meters away. And let me restate this, both my clone and myself saw a wolf, and sadly, we were on two opposite allies.

No woman was to be found, perhaps the beast was capable of making such wimpering sounds to lure it's prey into a deadly trap. Not I though, I was determined to keep myself from becoming this gastly beast's next meal. My fight for survival would begin by delving into my pocket to pull out a kunai bearing a coveted banner of destruction in the form of a explosive tag. The puzzled beast found this as an act of agression, and commenced a slow jogging pace towards me, wary of any tricks I had up my sleeves. After fixating the kunai, it would only take but a flick of my wrist to send it hurtling with great speed into the neck area of the wolf. This would prove to be the action which would turn the wolf's simple jog into a ravenous assault.

Unfortunately for him, his assault only quickened his demise, as it would take less than a second now for the kunai to impale his chest, stopping his advance at 13 meters. Although it would usually do nothing more than delay his run and feed his malice, this time would prove to be the exception as I raised my hand to my bust to preform the snake handsign, detonating the tag and momentarily sealing his fate. The flames would ensue and a wave of hot air would send the wolf flying back to the edge of the explosion farthest from me, putting us at 23 meters apart. Although the blinding light did prove to obscure my vision, I had a general idea of where the wolf was. As soon as my hand finished the snake seal, it would dance another waltz, this one longer than any of the others I previously preformed.

Back on my clones side, it was having as little trouble as I was. The wolf was 20 meters away for her, and was equally as threatening, if not more threatening than the one I faced. My clone unfortunately had limited resources, for her jutsu resources were limited to Raiton jutsu, and weaker ones at that, nevertheless, I would lead it to it's certain victory.

The wolf this time was actually more or less defensive, standing and growling, waiting for me to make the first move. I obliged by giving my clone the mental command to take out 4 senbon and the other kunai and throw them at the wolf, 2 senbon aimed at the heart and lungs, 2 at the eyes, and the kunai at the throat. It would obey, and before you knew it, the wolf was caught completely off gaurd by the meager projectiles.

Although it stumbled a bit from the sheer amount of projectiles, it's rage would block out most of the pain, and would give it the confidence to come foolishly rushing at my clone. My clone would jump back while simaltaneosly blazing through handsigns to manifest a javelin like bolt of lightning in her hands. She hurled it at the wolf's head, and in no time it would connect with the cranium, sending it toppling down. Soon after, a cylindrical storm appeared, further shocking the beast. The projectiles my clone just threw would act as little lightning rods, sending the currents almost directly into it's vital organs, frying them to the core.

My hands would finally finish it's waltz, it's metaphorical legs exhausted from the overwhelming complexities of the dance. I would lay the palms of my hands on the floor to let them rest, and their dance would soon bear their deadly fruition. The electrifying dance was able to transfer this energy into the ground, and the scrambling currents would find it's destination at the dire wolf 23 meters away, testing the beast to see if it could survive the spectacal. The currents traveled at unparalleled speeds to the already exhausted creature, sending a powerful shock throughout it's body and frying every last inch of the poor canine's skin, fur muscles and body. Fortituous this wolf was not, for now it was going to have a meeting with the Death God's, and an unpleasent one at that.


It seemed one of these beasts had been slayed, but it seemed my clone was struggling a bit, I would climb up throughout the metal jungle of these poorly built buildings, placing my feet without trust on the rigid fixations scattered upon the architectual disaster. Climb up I would, until I found myself at the top of the building.

It had seemed my clone was just finishing off the poor beast that dared cross her. It's hide was pelted in kunai, and a large burn mark on it's head indicated it's fried brains. Certainly a job well done, the beasts now could be properly disposed of.

Just as quickly as my my mission had started, it had ended. It only took an hour of looking around to find the beast, and a fraction of a fraction of that to slay it.My preformance was overall well in this mission, I had used some clever tactics to dispose of the beast, and I reacted well when I found out I was combating not one, but two wolves. Next time however, I would have to make sure to request a more... difficult mission.

I would dispel my clone, and descend down to the seemingly harmless corpse of the creature my clone just slayed. I approached it, and I felt it's dank and faint breath. Suddenly, it snapped up in a final attempt fight back, biting my leg, only to find the taste of leather in its mouth. My right hand swang over to my ninjato, which I would pull out and drive through the wolf's head finishing it off for good.

It's attempt was somewhat admirable, but it would of been an overall better choice to stay there on the ground. I was a little dissatisfied with the lack of challenged the beasts posed to me, but it was to be expected, it was only an animal. They lacked the ability to reason like us humans, and it was part of what made use superior to something so physically dominating.
