Shiki's Gardening

Shiki smiled. The sensation of sweat on her brow in the heat of the day was a strange feeling. She saw most people sheltering themselves from the harsh sunlight under parasols or alcoves in the strange building of Konohagakure No Sato, the hidden leaf village. She clutched on to a wooden watering can, as she fed the plants with the cold water inside. She was at one of the most southern parts of the village, where there was a resevoir connecting the much small segment of the lower village to the larger part of the nothern reaches of the village.
She hummed to herself, as she watered the flowers she had carefully planted. She planted random flowers aroudn Konohagakure, as she loved them, and some of the residents enjoyed them aswell. It added colour to the dusty pathways around the village. She would go to Ichiraku Ramen later to get some floral ramen. It was a bizarre, aromatic ramen.. chock full of flowers, as you could guess.
It was surprisingly tasty, and nutrient filled. She starred in to the blue rolling expanse of sky, as being her ditzy self, nearly poured the majority of the water on to the floor. She suddenly noticed the water was leaking out of the watering can. She quickly hoisted it back up so there was no leaking water. She got her kimono wet.. oh dear.
What was the matter with herself today? She had spaced out lots.. the young trainee nurse genin medical nin had a day off today.. but all the missions where taken or not mutual with her uncombative level. She hoped that something good would happen. A slight breeze rustled through her short blonde locks, and she smiled gently.
It was a day that was going to go on forever. Not much excitement.. only relaxation and being bored by herself. No shinobi or kunoichi she recognised ever walked past. ''Oh dear Shiki.. What will we do today.. I can't just water flowers.. I could be helping others or something.'' She was talking to herself. Was she crazy or something? Shiki continued to hydrate a small patch of flowers, sighing to herself.
