"Slacker."


True. To a certain extent ultimately. The single word, or sometimes even rephrased into a statement was true about the young pale eyed shinobi sometimes. At the current given situation, it was more than true. The sky was painted grey with gloomy clouds. Days like this always gave Dante the urge to just sleep them away. The Hyuuga Estate was under reconstruction due to the damages of the war of course, but Dante didn't want to dwell in such a place at all. He lived in the guest house. The elders got on his nerves enough, but of course the feeling was mutual. The mission was to avoid them as much as possible, or else they'd probably cause his ears to implode from all of their pointless lecturing. It was exactly like the adults of Charlie Brown's world. Dante often pondered on when exactly would these adults catch on? The fact that they weren't very elderly nor were they his parents didn't exactly boost his lack of respect for them either. Everything about them and what they stood for, the boy found himself standing against.

Reverting back to the present from the brief personality lesson, the young Hyuuga lad had been fast asleep under his favorite tree that was near his small, but very luxurious house. It had received minimal damage during the skirmishes, and Dante managed to climb over his laziness wall to repair them himself. Hyuuga Popo. Masamune's mentor, teacher, and basically step father stood erect in front of his pupil, eyes lifeless and fierce. The man stood in silence for a moment, staring at his student with total disgust. Dante's laziness was obviously unnerving. The loud and obnoxious snoring filled he silent air. Popo with one swift movement of his hand knocked the slumbering pupil on the top of his noggin, causing an unfortunate chain of reactions starting with the biting of his own tongue. "EEEGHHH!!!" Eyes tearing up, the boy turned his pale pupils to his sensei, glaring menacingly. "Wha eh ell uz aht or!??" Translation: What the hell was that for?

"Masamune, you slacker! You have the potential to be so great. To perhaps lead this clan one day. Yet you waste it, sleeping your life away." Popo folded his arms across his chest, scolding the boy. Dante rose to his feet, standing erect eye to eye with his master. "Why in the hell would I want to lead this clan, let alone anybody? And my name is Dante. I'm tired of you and those children in there calling me Masamune!" His eyebrows twitched, still trying to overcome the pain. Of course with children he had been referring to the Hyuuga elders. A sigh would escape Popo's lips, and the older Hyuuga would turn form his pupil and advance away from his position, creating space between the two of them, roughly around twenty yards. "How pathetic. You are the child. Always throwing temper tantrums, disrespecting your elders. You are weak. You're pathetic. Slacker. I'm turning your training up from here on out. Attack me now, boy!"

A smirk stretched across Dante's face. "Whatever. I'll show your ass slacker." With a simple 'flicker', the young Hyuuga would vanish into the air. Appearing where he thought his teacher's position would be, only to realize the man had disappeared himself. Flabbergasted, the young Hyuuga would stare around. Of course he purposely decided not to activate his Byukagan. "How arrogant of you. Have I not taught you better? You graduated top in the academy for what?" The voice rang through the boy's ears, the sound emitted from directly behind him. Simultaneously the young lad felt a foot on his back and immediately was shoved to into the dirt. "Five Hundred, boy." Gritting his teeth, the young Hyuuga would obey and begin pushing up off of the dirt underneath him, at a quick pace. "Really..? You're gonna take me back to the academy, old man?" As the words escaped his lips, the boy felt a terrible heavy strain on his back. Popo had placed a large weight on his back, eyes widening in pain, the boy would not quit on his push ups. "I WILL BREAK YOU, MASAMUNE!" The young Hyuuga continued his straining work out, reaching seventy. "GAH! FUCK YOU!"

Minutes Later

"Four Hundred and Ninety Nine!" Sweating heavily the Hyuuga often times reminded himself that he still had his jacket on, only making himself even hotter. He undoubtedly ruined his shirt with his sweat, feeling the drenched cloth weigh him down just as much as his weights. Oh how he wished the rain would beat down on his skull. "Five Hundred!" Tilting himself to the side, the heavy weight would slide off of his back and he'd manage to escape his jacket as well. Panting heavily, the boy felt like he just died fifteen times in a row. Kenny from South Park. "I told you you were a slacker. That should have been done easily with no problem." His sensei's taunting got to his head on the inside, but he managed to hide it on the outside. The boy climbed to his feet, removing totally soaked t-shirt from his body, the usual smug smirk returned to his face. "You owe me a shirt, old man. Byakugan!"

The lifeless pale eyes would grow much more intense, veins pulsing all around his eyes. Popo's head tilted upward, interested in his pupil's actions. Rapidly removing a kunai from it's pack and launching it at his sensei. The man himself activated his own Byakugan, and easily dodged the incoming projectile, side stepping but alas, it was meant only as a mere decoy. As the man's feet lifted from the ground and moved to the side to avoid the shinobi weapon, Dante's body would appear in front of him in which he would deliver an elbow into his teacher's abdominal region, causing him to slide backwards in the dirt, barely staying on his feet. "How arrogant of you, 'Sensei'!" But perhaps it was Popo's plan all along to get the boy to actually quit playing around as though he were dimwitted and weak. Popo would emit a loud laugh. "Good, Masamune. I admit, it was arrogant of me." The man would grin at his pupil, finally a proud look would grab his facial. "Now we test your defense." The man would coo. A slight nod of his head, and kunai from all directions would be sent flying at the lone Dante.

"Yeah, right!" His lips would part simultaneously as the rebellious young Hyuuga would begin to spin like an unstoppable top, knocking the Kunai every which way, each of them failing to pierce his powerful defensive taijutsu. Popo began to clap as he watched his pupil deflect the kunai with relative ease. "Rest now, boy. That was merely the warm up."

Special: Flickering is forward-moving, meaning the user will rush almost instantly to wherever they are facing. The user can flicker once per thread, plus once more each time retrained.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it allows a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed - to an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Such a feat is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds they would otherwise be unable to reproduce. In the end, the user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly should they need it. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

Description: Like many of the Jyuuken techniques, Kaiten is a special technique passed down through the main family line. Kaiten takes advantage of several of the unique abilities of the Byakugan eye, including an almost complete 360 degree view of their surroundings, so that the member to see all angles around them. As such, if an attack is near, the clan member will release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu and, simultaneous to the release, begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack. Said to be a Hyuuga's ultimate defense.
