It was time I started my training. As a genin, whom aspired to do well in the Chuunin Exams, I was going to need to learn some new jutsu as well as improve upon the ones I already knew. With this thought in mind, I began to stretch, making sure every and any muscle in my body was stretched to it's maximum. It was important to stretch, so I heard, as it helped truly pull out the effects of ones training. So I figured, if I did a lot of it, I'd get the most out of my training, right?
The area was a meadow ini the middle of large forest, full of lushly green decidous trees. It was a brilliant emerald, and it was quite the picturesque spectacle to behold. Few animals were seen scampering around, which was strange, as the meadows in Hi No Kuni tend to be filled with life. The ground under my feet, however was teeming with extravagent vegetation. It almost hurt me to step on the delicate flowers that were located in various patches, each with a specific group of species coexisting with eachother. Sadly, I had no time to pay attenion to the details of the lush habitat that surrounded me, as I had more important things to tend to.
I was a little afraid to use my actual release, as it proved extremely dangerous, and I wasn't the greatest at controlling it. So, instead, I would train my Taijutsu, and I would slowly psych myself up to atleast try my release. With this, I strapped on my weights on my forearms, this time I was going for more punching strength. I knew a keen lil' technique one of my friends showed me, it was named Raiken or something. Essentially a punch, but instead of simply punching, I would jump into the air, and spin once before attacking. With more spins, came more momentum, and with more momentum behind my punch, more damage would also come with it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I started with a few punches, each stronger than the last. I was trying my hardest to do the most damage to the thin air that I could possibly do. With each punch came the appropriate martial arts call, I found that it helped me focus and truly draw out my strength. I grew tiresome of this, and I began to take long strides to the nearest tree I could find. In my pocket were a pair of leather biker gloves, with a shiny metal plate with the Konoha village insignia engraved on it.
Making sure both were nice and tight, I stared at the tree, as if I were sizing it up like I would an opponent. Taking a deep breath, followed by the appropriate exhale, I wound up my right fist, so that it was parallel with my head. I twisted the right side of my body by my hips, pivoting on my left foot, with just my rights foot's toes and the balll of the foot touching the floor. Instantly after attaining this stance I flung my body at the tree, keeping my left foot down, as I rose my right one to put in front of me. I swiveled with my hip to gain extra power behind my punch, and halfway, I threw my actual punch at the tree. The result was a large dent it the tree were I punched. It splintered madly, and I wa quite impressed with my raw power. Just imagine what I could do if I added the spin to this thing.
With the same pace as usual, I walked away from the trees, allowing myself to gain a substantial amount of personal space, so that I could practice my jump without disturbance. With a new task set in place, I would surely stop at nothing until I had attained a second spin.
Jumping over and over again into the air, I slowly made my way up to a 360 spin, a 480 spin and even more. It wasn't enough. I began varying both my jumping heights and the way I would spin to see if it helped. For quite a substantial amount of time, I trained this, with my weights strapped to my legs. This would in effect, increase my jumping height, and give me more time to preform my second spin. After I felt my jump was high enough, I unstrapped the weights from my legs, and once again attempted the second spin.
Crouching down, I focused on the task I was going to attempt. I closed my eyes, and began to visualize what I was trying to do. My eyes opened widely and suddenly, with an intense looked scribed on them. I sprang up with all the power I could muster up, I tried to put just as much force as I did into the weighted jumps into this one. I propelled up into the air, jumping to heights unparalled, I spun, shifting my weight throughout my body to further the intensity of my spin. Attaining a 360 spin, with ease, I found that I was still quite a bit off the ground, so I decided to try another spin. Taking great care to follow the same procedure. With it, I found success, and a great big smiled stretched across my exhausted face.
It was far from over though, I still had one more thing to do, I was to see just how much more powerful this second spin made me. I picked another tree, close to the other one that I successfully splintered with a single punch.
I crouched down in front of tree, focusing my eyes on the spot I intended to hit. Yelling a call for concentration, I jumped, twirling and twisting my body in the air, successfully using the second jump. With my hand clenched in a fist, placed in the same place behind my head, I threw punch at the tree, and the loud obnoxious sound of broken bark tantalized my sense. It gave me the sense of joy, as I finally saw the fruits of my labors. My hand was stuck in the hole I created with my punch, with splintering wood surrounding it. I took greeat care to scratch my delicate skin.
I examined the hole, quite impressed by the size and magnitude of my punch. The tree was barely supported, and another punch like that would surely cause the poor tree to collapse. Although I was pleased with the results, I still wished to see even more power to come out of my body.
