He held back his tongue for the first time in his life, for he didn't bother to encourage the foolish argument between him and the Hokage. It was clear as day that this man knew nothing of being a shinobi - a shinobi had to kill to reach their goal, to reach the top! But Ryusuke only spoke foolishness, chanting on about how killing was just showing the fact that ninjas were animals. The words echoing through the snake's eardrums and affecting his being, causing him to just hold his face in disgust.
“You must be joking - animals? How the hell did you become Hokage!? We must kill to fuckin' survive, to live another day and sleep another night. So what if Sunagakure attacked us!? What are you going to do, try to make peace!? You're oblivious to the fact we need to kill to survive! Ninjas are animals!” His words were cold - similar to his lifeless eyes; dull and cold, showing no emotions at all. It seemed that the two were obviously raised differently, Makoto raised to kill, while Ryusuke was raised to be noble in a sense. It was pathetic and low in the mind of Makoto -
The two were like water and oil, things that could and would never be able to mix or become one entity. But while these two were arguing about morals, the medics were trying to bring the man back to life - all their efforts proving to be futile. They soon gave up and placed the body in a bag, dragging it out of the torture room. One medic in particular walked over to the two (Makoto and Ryusuke) and stated softly, “He is dead, we tried our best, sorry Lord Hokage.” And then he was gone with the rest, dragging the lifeless body.
“Ahhhh, sweet justice has been served. Don't you agree, Hokage-sama~” Traces of mockery could be detected in the man's words - his facade soon being plastered with a devious smirk. The Kagehebi felt proud in what he had done and gracefully began to exit from the small room, laughing while exiting. His laugh was evil, dark, demonic so-to-speak and would send chills down the spine of any man who was spineless.
