[/blockquote]NAME: Den of Thieves
RANK: S
DESCRIPTION: Good news, we just coordinated the location of the largest network of thieves the village has ever seen. Positioned beneath an abandoned house and only enterable through a series of labyrinths and coded doors, these sneak thieves are incredibly prepared. It’s recommended one go in undercover to bring these guys down. More important then that though is recovering the millions in stolen good said to be stashed somewhere in their den.
REWARD: 500 experience, 20,000 ryo
SHINOBI: 1
DIFFICULTY: Interminable
I had received a new mission from the Mizukage, Akira, he felt that it was time for me to go back to handling missions like how I use to. That meant that I could no longer be slacking around, though I would still need to accompany my team along on missions, but today, I had to take on this task alone. None of the other shinobi of Kirigakure, though great in their own right, wasn't of rank or seasoned enough to handle the job I had been tasked with. As I made my way from the Mizukage's residence, I would head home to prepare myself for the tasks I would be taking on in my mission, and I wondered how difficult it would really be.
How tough could a group of thieves be? I surely was able to handle each and every one of them on my own, right? I was supposed to be one of the elite soldiers of Kirigakure, and just under the Mizukage himself, being the Shinobi-Gashira of Kirigakure and all. I had always felt weird about it, no matter what, I would be under Akira, if I liked it or not, there didn't seem to be any possible way that I could catch up with him, he had been too strong. Especially possessing a Bijuu, coupled with two of the strongest swords in existence. I was nothing compared to him, but I knew I could catch up to him, I just had to keep on pushing forward, no matter what, and maybe one day, I could take on the title of Mizukage myself, and then I would be above Akira.
I had known that everything wasn't handed to Akira on a silver platter, he worked hard, so I just had to work harder than he had, he was my only competition in Kirigakure, he was the only one I needed to prove myself to, no one else. Not even that one shinobi who had acquired another one of the seven legendary swords—Naitome. I knew that I too could achieve great things, and I wouldn't let anyone surpass me, I needed to look for something, whether it is an actual thing or something inside of me, get a grasp of it, and use it to bring me glory, to show how hard that I have worked and that I should be praised like Akira. Once I made it home, I made my way to my equipment closet, putting on all of my gear, and grabbing as many weapons as I could, stuffing my pouches and holsters with weaponry.
The last part of my attires completion was slipping on my favorite fox mask. I concealed all of my armor and gear that I was wearing with a black robe, and now it was my time to set out, rushing toward the gates of Kirigakure, and as I advanced toward it, the guards nodded with a smile, they knew that the old me was back, and I was here to do work like how I use to. “I'll be back soon, guys. . . .” Some people believed in me, knew I was destined to be great, and those were the ones who kept me strong when I was hard upon myself.
I passed through the gates of Kirigakure, and headed toward the destination my mission would take place.
