Everything was happening so fast, or fast for those without eyes like hers. It was a close shot, that was for sure, but unfortunately for them she would not be caught in their onslaught. The moment that the Iwa-nin, the one she had judged earlier as being close to her level in strength, turned around chakra went rushing into her legs and feet. In that moment she launched herself into the air.

It wasn't a simple jump mind you, this one sent her 15 meters above the terrible slicing winds that came rushing at Gaku and herself. Bombs too, made of clay it seemed, were also carried in that gale force barrage. It was unfortunate but Gaku was hit by the force of the bombs that had converged in at where she had once stood while the pressurized force from the older man's attack sent his remain flying back.

Gaku, her only ally here, was dead.

For now she couldn't let his death weigh on her mind. Even as a Hyuuga, part of the clan she hated the most, she couldn't help but feel a bit remorseful. However her hands were a flutter making seals the whole time that she had jumped into the air. Idle hands were not something allowed in the heat of such a battle. Even in the air as she was, she wouldn't allow herself to be an easy target.

Sora continued towards the center of the island. He had waited a for a few seconds for a reply from possible teammates, before he saw a large dust plume about half a mile ahead. This had compelled him to move forward in order to see if someone from his village was being attacked.

Sora had a fairly bad feeling about what waited for him up ahead.

"Well shit." Maximilian blinked at how easily everyone just seemed to disappear with their actions. The ally Maximilian has behind him had completely cleared up the competition. With a shrug, he made sure to take note of the newcomer, the girl, who had joined their group. Finally, the cell had left the land bridge, and entered a field of sand that led to the center of the island.

Immediately upon reaching the field of sand, he darted to his side and ran diagonally, away from his cell, and the female. He was cautious, and paranoid, as the three of the Iwa members just wiped out a few of the enemies. Even as he moved, Kohana was in the air, reaching the apex of her jump, 15 meters up in the air. Unable to move block anything, he immediately threw his hand up, and pointed it at Kohana as she was at the top of her jump.

"Her! How do we handle her!?" He yelled out to his three allies, the two Stone and Tsuki. He didn't want to kill her immediately, as it wasn't his intention to do that. In fact, the plan for Max was to take down the single person who hit the water, the one who seemed to have no affiliation. It was the other Stone nins that took out the rest. Impressive. But he wanted their counsel while Kohana was unable to move from her position in the air.

He kept his eyes cautiously on Tsuki as his hands quickly moved to complete handseals, preparing for the next skills in case they were going to act against the falling Kohana, or if Tsuki decides to defect. In all honesty, Max had no intention of taking down Tsuki, but if she decided to double-cross them, it's gone. In his peripheral vision, across the plain, Max saw another individual coming for the center on the sand. But that was for later.

Right now, Kohana's fate was to be decided.

An all-out assault against the Konoha shinobi - it appeared one unfortunate soul had found themselves in a position where they would in capable of evasion, the air. Now the iwa nin that surrounded her had targeted this airborne shinobi in what was to be another onslaught of powerful attacks. The chakras of the other shinobi who the others had aimed at soon vanished, enemies were dropping like flies or fleeing like cowards - this woman was the only one left.

Maximillian, the man in front of her seemed to drift off to the left of the cell, his hands burst into seals and chakra began to gather within his frame - it seemed that he was about to use a technique. Although she had no desire to actually attack this Konoha shinobi, if these iwa shinobi were to remain her allies she would at least need to prove where loyalties lay in this battle.

" Gentlemen, I don't plan on wasting my energy on anything but the sanbi. "

She paused

" But I am currently on your side . . "

Her eyes faced forwards as she sped closer and closer to the three tails, but her mind very much looked in all directions, as she felt the chakra flow of every person within 100 meters, and she would know if they were about to prepare a technique, or try to pull a fast one on her. There was no hiding from her mystical eyes.

" I suggest using something with a large area of effect - if she tries anything cute I'll be sure to inform you. "

She picked up the pace, in an attempt to speed just ahead of the two iwa nin beside her, so that she would take the front position of the cell.

Jumping to avoid his attack...Truly, the Hyuuga had managed to produce a pathetic piece of trash, they had become little more than a lie of legendary warriors. This females magical white eyes meant nothing to him now for as her comrades were taken out by his attack and she jumped into the air, Gungnir's own comrade Alenka was already prepped. And before she had even reached the peak of her jump Alenka had already released a river of mud directly beneath the Hyuuga, and in seconds had created a dragon from it. Just a meter or two in front of the Hyuuga, it glared at her with empty muddy eyes. Still a mere two meters beneath the woman as she jumped, Gungnir didn't hesitate, from nigh beneath her as she ascended through the air, he began to lace a single kunai with an extension before drawing his Jian with his free hand. Now prepared, Gungnir jumped backward, putting him at about four to five meters away from the girl and nigh at Alenka's side.

"I don't know, don't care, but she's got pretty eyes...."

This river suddenly materializes flowing at fast paces completely against the direction the opponent is moving, making movement very, very difficult. The river itself shoots in a relatively straightly line, and as the user's rank increases, so does their skill with this technique. Excellent for slowing people down and facilitating escapes, as the mud itself is highly constricting.

Kouhei’s face lit up in a mixed expression of sadness, excitement, and victory that seemed to flow through his face like a current each wave bringing a different facial expression. He had never seen a man die before. He was only a Genin before and up until this point a majority of his missions had been low risk oriented with a majority of his conflicts ending without any fatalities. Watching someone die, someone who wasn’t even technically their enemy was strange to Kouhei. He didn’t hate the man, yet he had attacked because the other Iwa shinobi had. Kouhei would have probably wanted to think on that and sort through his feelings about it, but alas there was no time.

In an amazing feat of chakra control and dexterity, the likes of which thoroughly impressed Kouhei, the other Konoha shinobi he had attacked leaped over both the explosion and the wind technique. It was quite a feat, but one that left her hanging in midair. Unless she had some sort of trick up her sleeve she had left herself in a rather precarious situation. Kouhei would have to act on it quickly if he wanted to capitalize and ensure she wouldn’t be a threat for long.

Kouhei also began to watch the Kusa shinobi carefully, who up to now had yet to aid in any real way in the fight. She had not attacked anyone and although it seemed she was assisting in some sort of support manner Kouhei could not tell if she was doing anything at all. He didn’t like that she was acting completely neutral while they struggled and he didn’t trust it. He would have to make moves to deal with her if the time came that she betrayed the group. Especially if all she had been doing was conserving her chakra this entire fight.

At first he had come simply to help his friends in Iwagakure defeat the Sanbi, but as time passed he found his desires growing more selfish. It still wasn’t deep enough to ever betray his village and his friends, but he began to desire the Sanbi for himself. He had heard rumors of being able to seal the creature within a person and although the power didn’t appeal to him at all the thought of being bonded for another living creature for the rest of his life did. It was perhaps the ultimate form of making a friend for life. He wouldn’t want to kill any of his fellow shinobi with him, but he made a mental note to push for it when the fighting subsided.

He could hear the others talking, but frankly so far up it practically sounded like white noise. Especially with the cacophony of the explosions still ringing through his ears. Kouhei reached his hands into his pouch and let the mouths lap up clay like kittens at the saucer. With what he had planned it would take him a little longer to prepare then his first attack, but he would be ready to strike soon enough.

Kohana knew that jumping into the high wasn't entirely the best plan in such a situation. However, there really was no other way to dodge the large gust of wind and sound or the many bombs that were coming her way. If she had tried to face it head on she would have ended up like her younger of kin Gaku; Dead.

Quite frankly, there were too many things that she had yet to do or accomplish to risk something like that. As fast as she had jumped to avoid the other, presumed, Jounin's attack and the clay users, the woman that was quietly by the Jounin's side had unleashed the techniques she had been prepping. From her feet a river of mud began to gush out and flow along the strip of beach and the water by it. Just as fast as the river flowed, a large dragon head came from it, staring at her with his large empty eyes.

Though she was almost defenseless in the air, and despite already knowing what she would do, it still would be pretty close. The moment the dragon had started to appear from the mud she drew her palms together and expelled a large amount of chakra. However this wasn't aimed at any of the enemy shinobi. Reminiscent of the man's attack from earlier it would push forward with such speed and power that, under normal circumstances, could topple buildings, push back summons, and especially collapse an enemies chest cavity.

This attack would hit the dragon and the mud would, in all intents and purposes, explode everywhere in a torrential rain of brown. The force from releasing such an amount of chakra midair would also push the Hyuuga woman back as she fell. Though she couldn't avoid the mud river, when she did land in it would carry her roughly 20-25 meters away from the group of Iwa shinobi. This would aid her in escaping for once she hit the end of the river she would make herself disappear from this battlefield.

She had a village to return to and sometimes retreating was the smarter thing to do than fight a win-less battle. Besides she also had conspirators from other villages to meet with. Which is when Kohana couldn't help but wonder what they would think if they knew that one of those conspirators were from their very own village...

Special: This wave of chakra released from the point of contact is highly destructive, and collapses all of the user's tenketsu point in the torso region simultaneously. The sudden pain and shock are easily capable of rendering the target unconscious, and in most cases, can kill a person with a single hit (only if the strike lands on the heart prior to release).
Description: Yet another variation to the Palm thrust, this is the grandest creation of all. Putting both hands together and gathering all of their chakra, the Hyuuga pushes forth with a great amount of chakra, large enough to topple buildings, take down summons and push them back, or repel equally strong attacks. The final Hakke version, this jutsu is not to be taken lightly...

"Well, she's gone." The blonde spoke out loud, and his eyes quickly darted to Gungnir and Alenka, responsible for the removal of the airborne female, and then to Kouhei, who flew up overhead. Realizing the situation, Maximilian let his eyes drop to the female before them, and he thought over what would happen. Iwagakure over all. That was the type of thing that would have to happen. The Sanbi would belong to the Stone village. And she was an unneeded variable.

The female had moved ahead, under five meters away from either Maximilian or Gungnir and Alenka, who matched their pace, and they ran parallel to Max. The three grounded individuals formed a triangle, and Max knew, by the looks of the eyes that he witnessed on the girl ahead, that she definitely had some sort of ability revolving around those eyes. He only thought of the worse of what it could be, and his mind started thinking, while his hands maintained the final seal.

"Shame." With that, he unleashed his abiity. His seals were finished, and it seemed the female had no idea what was gonna happen next. But neither did Maximilian, until the very moment he turned to look at her. No time was wasted. From his hips, two kunai shot out with blinding speeds. His running speed plus the speed of the projectiles allowed for an even faster shot. Max veered away and activated what was attached to the weapons. The two kunai, propelled in blinding speeds, exploded as the exploding tag on each one was detonated, creating one explosion close to the left of her, and one a bit more behind her and to the left.

The explosion radii were close, the source of each less than one meter away from the woman, but far enough from either Maximilian or Gungnir or Alenka for them to not get hurt. Hopefully, this meant his allies would be given time to act as the explosions would heavily damage her as she'd be caught within the blast radius, or she'd stumble and fall, letting the other two decide how to get rid of her participation in the matters.

And in no time the girl splashed into the mud as she destroyed the earth dragon. Sent away by the careless and violent rush of the mud river itself. Turning his gaze to the night destroyed other Leaf ninja body he'd scoff at it...They'd return for it later, and as an explosion tore the air in the near by distance he'd notice another body fell....The Kusagakure ninja...Now, they had another body to turn in as well...And still the Sanbi to obtain...Iwagakure truly had risen to it's full potential in recent years! Slipping his Jian back into it's sheathe and popping his single soldier pill into his maw. Chewing it and take in it's rejuvenating properties before he turned and began to follow Leo and the clay user in the skies above towards the supposed area the Sanbi was.'

Alenka at his side, he'd shoot a glance to the bird boy above. "Everyone is dead, get the fuck down here, you're giving our position away dumb shit!"

Just like that the battle seemed to be over in a flash. Kouhei was honestly surprised at how quickly it had all ended. He had expected his first real battle would last longer and certainly take more out of him then it had. Perhaps it had been their amazing teamwork that had ensured their victory. Whatever the reason the Iwa shinobi were able to take out anyone who could have possibly been a threat. He wasn’t sure how he felt about Max taking out the Kusa nin the way he had, but Kouhei had never really trusted the woman any way. He would have liked to wait for the supposed ally to earn their ire, but at least she couldn’t get that chance to turn on them now.

"Everyone is dead, get the fuck down here, you're giving our position away dumb shit!"

Kouhei was still surveying the area when he heard the voice of the man he had still to officially meet. Given all the danger they had recently seen Kouhei would have liked to stay in the air in case some other danger came upon them, but he didn’t have much of an excuse at this point. With one last loop around his fellow shinobi he made a slow descent until he was perched on his bird fifteen or so meters away from the unnamed Iwa shinobi and his companion. “Well that went well. What now? We just continue onto wherever this leads?”

"Well shit..." Maximilian sighed to himself as he witnessed his two tags strike the female from behind, encompassing her in the blast radius. She fell to the ground as the explosion slammed her down, killing her instantly. The blonde dropped his arms to his side, and ran over to the dead body of the woman, whose back was charred from the effects of the tags. Near her were his two exploding tags, which were propelled into the sand next to her body from the explosion. He quickly deposited his two weapons on his body, before turning to the corpse.

She was lying on her stomach, face into the sand, and he pulled its limp head back to see the Kusagakure headband right on her forehead. Quickly, Max reached over for it, and pulling it off, away from the eyes of Gungnir behind him and Kouhei above them. In Max's mind, he knew that Kouhei couldn't have seen the headband on the woman, as she was always away from the eyes of the flyer, who was many meters in the air. Gungnir, however, he wasn't too sure. The Kusa ninja did walk by him before. He could have known. Max knew very well of the alliance Kusa had with Iwa. This was on Maximilian's blood. He won't let his allies get hurt with this information. He should be the only one to know that this was a Kusa nin.

Swiftly, he deposited the headband out of view on his body.

"We're the last ones here." Maximilian observed the area around them, and noticed how they were the last people on this side of the island. "We need to get the Sanbi... but I need to take this body back to Lady Tsuchikage..." He glanced to the body he was holding by the hair of the head, and stooping down, he tore open her top, and tied it around her head, hiding the face from view. With that, he gripped it by the abdomen, and hoisted it up to his shoulder. "Kouhei! Come down. We need to fucking head to Iwagakure."

The blonde turned his head to Gungnir, and Alenka, and shook his head, worried. "There's no one left. It's just you. You should go ahead, you have the most experience, and the most skill. Kouhei and I will go back to Stone. I'm not carrying this thing the whole way, and I need to talk to Lady Tsuchikage." With that, he glanced back to Kouhei, and spoke up to him, "Common Kouhei. Gungnir can handle this, he's the commanding member of the cell right now, and he can handle the next step. I need your help reaching Iwagakure, I can't do it on my own."

Maximilian looked to the body, then to Gungnir, and to Kouhei. He shook his head sadly, and looked at Kouhei seriously, but apologetically. "Please. I'm sorry, but our part is done. I have faith that Gungnir can handle the rest for us." With a nod, Max made a step in Kouhei's direction, wherever he would be. The Sanbi was important, and Gungnir had the skill to take it on. Two Genin would only hinder the skill of a Chuunin, so the two had to return back.

Watching Maximillian as he followed the boy slowly, he'd watch his twitch for a moment. Raising a brow he grinned. He didn't know what Max was doing to be honest, but it was obviously something he was trying to hide as Kouhei continued to fly above and out of clear visual range. Tilting his head though he'd pause in his tracks. His memory drifted back to when the girl joined their cell for a short moment, leaping in even. The glare of the sun only remained on her forehead protector for a millisecond before it showed that she hailed from Kusagakure. chuckling to himself quite a bit as the memory returned to a deep dark corner, he'd slide a hand through his hair. Motioning for Alenka to move on ahead, he'd listen to what Max and Kouhei had to say.

And it seemed that Max had a plan, and it was the best solution to their current problem. Nodding as Max's make-shift speech trailed into the past, Gungnir chose now to speak. "Max is right, I'm the only Jounin from Iwagakure so therefore none are more qualified than myself...Kouhei your orders are to take Max back to Iwagakure, once you are out of this immediate area, you are to also follow any other orders Max gives you, he will be your leader at that time...Good luck you two, and if I'm late then blame it on searching for the scattered limbs of that one Leaf shinobi as well as dealing with the Sanbi on my lonesome of course...kukuku...Now, get moving!" And with that Gungnir joined Alenka in her sprint forward and away from the area...

They had a weapon to obtain for Iwagakure!
