Hageshii Hiru [Contract Topic]
These people around him were useless, they were barely capable of keeping their heads on their shoulders long enough to try and tell him how to do his job, and for that he was thankful. These peers of his, they were inferior beasts who were as capable of a tool as a simple twig, unable to find use in anything except being burned up for tinder. It was all that there was to the world it seemed, these unreliable, ignorant, things that occupied his species were an infuriation above any other to the young man. Yet his ability to escape this seemingly bound fate was minimal and so he took his leave frequently, visiting the lakes beyond the village gates to hear from beasts that served their purpose well. Fish swam, the insects skitted, the birds watched hungrily, and none of them stepped out of their place because they had no capacity, no desire to do so.
They were closer kin to him than anyone else and they held a deeper relevance and meaning to him. It was on such an occasional of self reflection that Hageshii had come to another lake, one he had never seen before and which seemed to be absent of excessive fish life. His pale flesh was exposed to the lazily drifting rays of a half-clouded sun, bare to the world but submerged in the most effective covering one could ask for. The water was cool and it cooled the blood-lusting heart beneath the breast that it enveloped within itself. So for this moment their was no worry, no fret, no thought beyond his current bodily state.
His mind melted into the water and in his enhanced bodily state, in which his thoughts were absent and his body was unrestricted from the usual task of functioning under such a laborious taskmaster as a shinobi, he noted the presence of something on his skin. He hadn't felt it approach nor had he noticed it until now, and he lifted his arm above the water, his pink locks swirling with his twisted head as he observed what had made its way to his animated corpse. The creature that had decided to grace him with its presence happened to be a leech, something he hadn't seen in this area for quite some time, though as he noticed it was an odd color for a natural leech.
Hageshii's hand came out to remove the creature, gently so to not harm himself and to not harm the creature, but at the movement of his other hand a voice emerged from the lake, something foreign that he was unfamiliar with. "Don't touch him."
