Mission info: Something terrible has happened! Ms. Yoshizawa, an old lady hasn't seen her pet cat around lately. She fears that her cat-Mr. Nibbles may have gotten out when her grandson came home and left the door wide open. Her suspicions were made true by eye witnesses around the village who say they have seen a large white cat stalking the alleys. Its time to play detective, so its your duty to find, capture and return Mr. Nibbles to her.

ROUTINE

When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is turn on my stereo (Hidoshi 40X, 55,000 ryo) and jam some tunes to play while I work out. The music I listen to is always something up-beat, stuff like Susaki Mimoto and the Dorego Brothers. Today I'm listening to Outrospective's newest album, and while the music is playing I start my workout which begins with jump roping for 20 minutes to warm myself up, than crunches (I reached 1200 about a year ago), than push-ups (only 300) and some light free-weight work. All in all it takes me about an hour and then some. Once that's done I hop in the shower and use a passion-fruit scented body scrub from Toshi's that I bought at Maxo's (15,000 ryo) which has a lot alcohol-content and doesn't dry out my skin, while still managing to thoroughly clean out my follicles and pores. To be on the safe side though I follow up with a face-moisturizer that I picked up from Maxo's as well (Todaru Hayoku, 12,000 ryo) and complete my shower with an apple-scented combination shampoo-conditioner from the Autumn Haru collection that I bought last week at Kazuma's (12,000 ryo). Once out of the shower I cover my face with a moisturizing face-mask and brush my teeth, than put on a satin robe that an ex-boyfriend bought for me. I leave the bathroom and move on to the kitchen.

In general I try to eat a balanced breakfast of fiber, carbs for energy and protein, but today I'm feeling a little nauseous and I'm not sure I can handle any meat so for breakfast I just have a pear and two wheat-cakes. Before digging in I prepare my Ninken's breakfast. Aoi makes her presence known not long after I finish pouring the contents of a can of dogfood into her bowel. There's a bone in her mouth, and it occurs to me after staring at it for several long seconds, blinking slowly, that it's a human bone. She drops the bone and starts picking at her food so I dig into mine. It's only after I finish both of the wheat-cakes and am halfway through the pear, washing it all down with a fruit-smoothy I'd made the morning before and couldn't finish, that I notice the human head laying on the table-top across from me. I stop eating and glare at it, because I can't remember for the life of me how it got there. The head belongs to a male, and there is no body attached to it and and it's upside down with a spoon sticking out of the hole where the vertebrae is supposed to go. I suppose that I must have tried to eat his brains or something but the entire night before is a blur to me honestly and I can't remember where the body is, though Aoi obviously knows since she had what looks like an index-finger bone in her mouth a few minutes ago.

I glare at the head for a few minutes longer than finish my food.

Back in my bedroom I put on the outfit that I'll be wearing today. Normally I put together my attire the night before since I have a fickle personality and might retroactively decide to change part of my outfit, in which case I have the whole night to wake up and frantically tear through my wardrobe until I find something more suitable. This time however I knew in advance that I'd be going on a mission today, so there was no need to assemble anything fancy. I always wear the same thing when I do missions: a gray jumpsuit with red patterns in the shape of a dragon running up both legs. The jumpsuit is made out of leather on the outside and some kind of polymer-weave on the inside that makes it extremely comfortable on the skin. The fabric is designed to breathe easily and not chafe when sweating which makes it ideal clothing to wear during combat. It's designer; Deguchi (45,000 ryo). Aside from the jumpsuit I'm wearing a pair of black lingerie that I bought from Yumi's Secret for 8,000 ryo on sale (kind of a waste, I don't plan on seducing anyone tonight but I'm in the mood to wear skimpy underwear and besides you never know) and a pair of matching gray rain-boots with an accented-heel. On the way out the door I stumble upon the headless armless corpse which the head in my kitchen was probably attached too. I snap my fingers at Aoi, signaling her to follow me, and together we step over the corpse and out the door.
