Act III; The Kage of the Bloody Mist [Open]

It Begins;

With a strange wind; a chilling wind that was unbecoming of the summer months—frigid even for the Village Hidden in the Mist. A strange masked figure walked with the wind, his white kimono dancing eloquently in the breeze; he was unaccompanied, but carried himself with the esteem one might associate with royalty.

The city itself would seem to come to a stop; several people had gathered along the alleyways, a look of confusion common amongst their scattered facades. With the churning gears of war in motion within the village, it was unusual to see a stranger just walk through the streets. He was either incredibly dangerous, or incredibly important. That a pair of ANBU intercepted the man, barring his path forward, confirmed this notion.

"So you've returned," the taller of the two said, stepping towards the man and strangely dipping to a knee, "Mizukage-sama."

"Yes," he said, waving a dismissive hand towards the shinobi, "alert the others, it is time things become interesting." The pair of ANBU ofered deep bows before dispersing in a flicker. The stranger seized his mask and lowered it.

Tenryu Kushinada peered from behind the porcelain countenance, and grinned wickedly.

A snake swimming like a shark

Today was another one of those melancholy and mundane summer days that existed in Kirigakure. There literally was nothing to do but walk around randomly in the middle of the village. A chill was sent down my spine, and that notified me of the hardships I would face today. The last time I felt something such as that was when my Nii-san threw me away. Abandonment ~ the most powerful and ugliest of emotions that I could feel within my veins.

My snakes were restless and I could actually feel there pulses from within my blood limit like a heartbeat. My crimson orbs focused on the strange winds and the direction those winds seemed to disappear towards. There would seem to be some sort of public spectacle, and my interest was certainly piqued since nothing really happens in Kiri. It didn't take me long to make my way towards the site of all the citizens gathering like idiots. My right eye, drank in the figure of the man who everyone seemed to be astounded by.

At further inspection of his face, I had to admit the mask was beautiful and something I wished I had on my person at the moment. The mystery of this man . . .who was he? Well I got my answer when someone in the crowd spoke. "Did you hear that guy over there is the Mizukage!" My heart nearly exploded in my chest when he lowered his mask.

The most handsome man I had ever seen was the one and only faceless Mizukage. My face felt completely red as I looked at him even after I closed my eyes and tried to get him out of my head. I just couldn't at all and I knew I needed to speak to him or even just have him glance at me. Except I was too scared and timid to do so but I could feel myself wanting to do so more and more.

Axel growled a little hating the state of disrepair the world was in because of petty humans, granted Axel was completely biased since he was human as well but he felt more like a member of his wolf pack than person purely for human's stupidity and lack of respect. Hime looked up at him lowering her ears a little, ironically she showed humans more compassion then he did.

He winced a little as he gently touched the slowly healing gash across his face that started above his left eye and ended under his right. This wound was a testament to the problems of humans. He shook his head and patted Hime's fur gently calming her nerves as the two continued along the road.

The two quickly came to a group of people gathered along the main road and as Axel peered over them he saw a bellowing ivory cloak and a cowl with a blue kanji for water on the front. The Mizukage. Axel's eyes narrowed while his slitted pupils took notice of his features that could be gained from the obvious.

Axel then decided on being completely radical like his clan was known for and lifted the hood of his frayed crimson cloak over his head the shadows hiding his face in a deep shadow. He channeled chakra into his feet then jumped high flitting over the crowd into the street landing a few feet from the kage as he stood straight his cloak would float along the ground on the slightest of air currents as he walked over to his leader his eyes searched the shadow of his cloak trying to gain any recognition.

He then threw back his hood while grinning wide with his Inuzukan fangs glinting in the sunlight the dark red marks on his cheeks straining his clan while the light gleamed in his aqua eyes as he held his fist out to the kage, keeping his tone friendly and energetic rather than encroaching. He never had a history of backing down and would sure as hell not back down from someone whose respect he wanted. His crimson hair flitted with the hair falling to look like the cloak itself was actually part of his bloody hair. "Axel Inuzuka, Got it memorized?"

The Audacity of a Fool;

"Axel Inuzuka, got it memorized?" Honestly, I wasn't sure if this was a joke; this boy, he had the audacity to leap over the gathering crowd and plant himself near me? What's more, he stuck out his arm and fist and introduced himself, clearly delirious to think that I asked for or even wanted to know his name.

"Inuzuka," I said, a false delight seizing my facade, and a diabolical grin betraying my lips, "do you know what becomes of ninja who become reckless and wild?"

At best, the dog-boy would notice my scent grow thicker, and feel a dismal chill pass his body. Soon after, he'd hear the sound of my kimono flapping wildly in the wind, and finally, he'd hear my voice.

"They become fodder for those of us who feast on pride," I said, my voice directly behind the red-haired boy. "This is a village of sharks, child."

I paused, allowing the silence to build emphasis on my next words. As this silence drew to an end, I faded again, this time appearing directly before the Inuzuka. Should he look to me, he would find that the emotion which had lingered just moments ago had faded, and a cold emptiness had replaced it.

"Sharks do not have names," I half-whispered, though those close enough could likly still hear me, "got it memorized?"

My gaze couldn't be shifted away even if someone was attacking me at the moment. I was fixated on our Mizukage way too much. That was when my handsome and beautiful vision was blurred by something. When I focused on it there seemed to be some red headed guy in the way of my view. That bastard needed to get the hell out of my fucking eye line kishi damn it.

I began to proceed further except I stopped myself as I was within hearing range of them two. The Mizukage seemed to have tore a new asshole into this lackluster bastard who dared to think he was on the same level of him. I proceeded further as soon as I was close enough to clearly see him I took a knee before him. I put my head down trying to be as humble as I could be in front of him as I could be because I was worthless in his face. I began to speak but in a tone which showed my great admiration and respect for him.

" I apologize for even thinking I am even good enough to speak to you. I just wished to have a closer look at you my Mizukage-sama. Please forgive my insolence. "

Enjoying the sweet, honey flavored nectar of his morning tea, he noticed that the business within the city seemed to momentarily slow down. Looking around within the restaurant, he immediately noticed that most - if not all - of the employee's and customers escaped out into the city streets. "Hm? The hell is all this commotion interrupting my peaceful tea-time." Ju said, speaking with a deep tone while gently sitting his tea-cup down upon his coaster. "Is having a little quiet time just too much to ask for these days?" Lightly sighing, he raised up from his chair after tossing a bag of coins which contained 500 Ryo onto the table. Ju looked around once more with a heedful stare and he found that the area was entirely empty, eerily so, almost as if it turned into a ghost town.

Adjusting his robes and the dragon designed haori, he stepped outside, only to be greeted by a chilling wind and crowds of civilians and shinobi alike. A look of confusion swept across his face while he forcibly made his way through the crowd to see just what had everyone gathered around in such a way. Upon reaching the forefronts of the crowd, he couldn't believe what stood before his very eyes.

"Well I'll be damned, Suzaku finally decided to come home!" Speaking loud enough for all to hear, Ju stepped forward and out of the crowd and approached Tenryu from his south west. Shuffling around the toothpick that jutted from his mouth, a grin stretched out along his face as his hand right hand came up and patted Tenryu on the shoulder, "Glad to have you back home, I almost started to miss ya." In less than a second, everything seemed to have gotten real extremely fast. A scrutinizing gaze fixed itself upon this 'Inuzuka' who looked to be some rag-tag bum found in the slums of the city.

Axel smiled slow and shook his head lowering his arm to his side slack. The tactics of the "Mizukage" were deplorable as he thought that his leader deserved his respect. To others the man may have seemed like a ghost rapidly moving around him to make his voice come from every direction but he felt the air pressure change with the movements.

"A leader is nothing without those they lead," his eyes kept track of the white hood not letting his guard down while his hands were hidden within his own cloak. "This isn't a village of sharks it's a village of scared minnows, there's no equality within this infrastructure and thus no support. It will fall."

Without another word he turned and walked through the crowd without a single sign of resistance from the crowd and disappearing back into the shadows that this village thrived in as a pitiful excuse for a military system would continue to crumble.

He leaned back against the building as he watched from the shadows his faithful wolf walking into his cloak and nuzzling his legs laying down shaking her head in disapproval. He didn't care too much for the fact was nature was balanced and equal. Man was nowhere near it's roots.

The First Martyr;

Perhaps this man thought he was safe to speak his stupidity with a crowd gathered; perhaps he thought that with so many onlookers, I would dare not grow angry at his words; perhaps he thought he could deflect the hatred which radiated from my blade. Whichever the truth, I found it largely irrelevant. He was a fool, and a fool has no place within my village.

I would not tolerate such a careless cretin within the annals of my village; I would not allow this land to lay claim to a fool who insulted his superior and then carelessly turned his back to him. He had been mere feet from me at first, but as I spoke to him I had shortened that distance. As he turned his back to me, foolishly thinking to walk away after sheepishly jawing about things which he could not comprehend, I drove my right arm outward, a terrible blade of bone extending outwards form its palm, looking to cover the already small distance and impale the fool in his back.

His sense of smell, he would find, wouldn't help him; he obviously already knew I was behind him. He couldn't simply smell my arm lifting up, nor would he smell a bone extending from my arm. He wouldn't feel some mystical change in the air around him. He wouldn't hear some loud, obnoxious noise. He had just turned his back to a shinobi, and he was soon to pay the price.

My other hand remained at the ready, anticipating this his hound might come to aid him. My reunion with Ju would be delayed, it seemed.

Yanagi no Mai (Dance of the Willows)

Type: Offensive / Special Bloodline Technique / Nintaijutsu

Special: Due to fluidity of the dance, the user can strike many times at once. After initially learned, any more retraining will stack a simultaneous attack per stave - that is, if one learns this three times, they strike three times at once. However, after every fourth retraining, the consumption of this technique goes up by one.
Description: The first of the five Kaguya dances. Using the abilities of their bloodline, the user will grow and extend a forearm bone through the palm of each hand to form a stabbing instrument. These staves extend up to great lengths, and are razor sharp. Using fluid and precise movements, they will then proceed to impale their opponents.
Domain: Kaguya. Must know 'C' ranked Calcium Compression.

Special: Strength of ALL bone creations depend on highest rank known. Highest rank also determines the level of defense the Kaguya can create under their skin in the form of thin, compressed bone for the sake of defense. Damage reduction, while measured in the form a number, ultimately depends on the RP. Keep in mind the defense bonus only applies to attacks equal or lower to the highest rank known in this technique, and applies to single rank creations; stacked bonus damage attacks can bypass the bone with enough damage. Finally, because the bone within can be so strong, all non-weapon, hand to hand Taijutsu will receive a passive blunt damage bonus equal to the highest rank known in this technique. However, when this effect is applied, the user will ultimately lose speed.

Description: A Kaguya's most basic and innate skill, it allows them to alter the calcium composition of their entire bone structure to whatever density they see fit. Whether they harden a whole section of bone or just one individual piece doesn't matter; if the Kaguya wills it, one normal bone can become as tough as iron. This is the basis behind their bloodline skill and all their jutsu, and as they progress in skill and power, their bones become harder and stronger.
Domain: Kaguya.

Once Axel turns his back, Tenryu lifts his right arm, extending the Yanagi no Mai in a manner with which to impale the Inuzuka. Because of their closeness, no lunge is necessary, reducing the amount of hints available to determine such a strike is on its way. Opposing hand is at the ready, in case of unexpected qualms.

Axel could smell the bone before it hit him, the familiar bitter scent of bone marrow. The pain exploded along his body as his stride was stopped short and he felt his hot blood running down his back. He counted himself lucky as he felt his knees hit the road hard, a sign that he was only partially paralyzed and that the bone shank hit his vertebrae head on and not between them.

His vision swam as he saw Hime dash under him catching his limp form just as he fell before. She quickly bolted into the crowd around them to escape from the man who had just shanked her master. Her animal speed would easily be able to escape The attackers bones while she disappeared into the crowd.

I rose to my feet as I heard the males words toward the Mizukage. I couldn't believe the words which came from his mouth. The most insolent and treasonous words one could ever utter. That was something which said in private would gain a scolding for but o the actual Mizukage himself. I didn't know if this guy was stupid or if he truly believed what he said was acceptable.

I moved out of the way until I was along side the other man who greeted our Mizukage so graciously. It would seem he was of a more noble stature then the other boy. His face and such looked wise almost from many experiences and such, and I was honored to be in the presence of two powerful men. The Mizukage was a million times more handsome then the other man though and it wasn't even a contest it would be like saying and apple looks as good as flies around shit.

I stood touching my forehead protector with my aqua blue nails unconsciously trying to scratch my forehead. The movements were fast but not enough to be a blur before my own eyes. It would seem our beautiful kage would not be disrespected so lightly. I watched as he was fluid in motion and my excitement rose as he produced what would seem to be a long spike from his palm. The spike was impaled through that treasonous bastard as if he was nothing more then mere paper to a kunai.

I watched in awe of the pure and raw taijutsu skill the Mizukage had upon his person. This was the man I respected and one day would become his jounin commander. I looked over at the man beside me that was the wise ninja who spoke to our Mizukage and called him " Suzaku". I spoke in a low voice making sure to be humble and know my place and rank within the village other then the wolf guy.

"Excuse me sir. . ."

The moment Ju's hand landed upon his cousins shoulder, he felt and saw it jerk forward with a thrusting motion towards the bum . The motion was quick and abrupt, nothing short of a blur the the untrained eye. A sense of nostalgia rushed into his mind after having watched Tenryu display the consequence to his zero tolerance policy, remembering his everlasting brutality even from their childhood. "Nicely done, I can see you haven't lost your touch since you've been away. I'll give it a eight out of ten though, didn't look like you gave it enough 'umph' y'know?"

His vision swam as he saw Hime dash under him catching his limp form just as he fell before.

Smelling the blood and sensing the distress from its master, timid barks from a dog generated from within the crowd of civilians as it bolted forward, aiming to rescue its master - how cute. With a quick sigh, Ju quickly stepped forward and round to the inuzuka's front -facing the dog - which was only a couple of feet from where Tenryu stood. Fiercely pushing forward with its hind legs, the dog ran forward with furor. . .

. . .right into Ju's rising foot.

With flawless form, Ju's sandalled foot drilled directly into the dog's tiny maw, smashing in its teeth. Surely considering how hastily it ran, it couldn't have expected to have its face reconstructed so abruptly. "Tch, dirty mongrel."

Blood in the Water;

This is a village of sharks; sharks do not fear the entropy of battle. They bask in the scent of blood, and lunge forth with ferocity unbecoming of mere men. I did not intend to merely impale this man upon my jagged bone; I intended to skewer him; to main him in such a way that he might never forget the foolhardiness which brought this grim fate upon him. As the blade entered his back, I pulled my arm out to the side, intending to slice the blade through his body, rupturing organs and tearing through his circulatory system in such a fashion that the pain itself would likely drive him to black out.

"Tch, dirty mongral," the voice came from my side; it reassured me that the dog which had breached the crowd would be little issue, though I followed it with my free hand nonetheless, ready to strike it down should it somehow evade the foot and continue on for its falling master.

"Find that thing and bring me its skin," I said, casting my gaze to the man who had likely fallen with nothing to break his descent, "it'll make a fine collar for my kimono."

"He isn't dead, yet," I proclaimed, motioning for nearby ANBU, "shackle him and take him to the camp outside of the village.' Of course, should the young fool try to squirm, even yet, I would personally see to disabling his ability to move.

Tenyu removes his bone blade by cutting outwards, an effect which would sever and damage multiple internal articles, likely leading to the victim blacking out if he is unable to somehow impede or prevent it. Afterwards, several ANBU are summoned, there directive to detain and imprison the Inuzuka.

[Pain XIII]

Hoshigake Hanzo was not in a good mood, the weather was hot and sticky, he was on a break from missions and training. Of all the days he decides to take a damned day off. Hanzo was sitting by the edge of a lake right outside Kirigakure with his finger in the water twirling slowly causing small ripples to rip up the formerly placid lake. Hanzo had a cigarette dangling from his lip as he did so. During his free time Hanzo preferred the solitude and would rather just idly sit there by the lake then be bothered by pestering genins who are flexing their muscles. However there was so much one could stand, when it came to being alone all the time. Hanzo then began a slow walk towards the village gate.

As he walked through the gates in the distance, he could spot quite a gathering, from the gathering came much noise, the kind that annoyed Hanzo, he did not like crowds and most certainly noisy ones. Standing above the crowd was a masked figure, who merely from his pose, Hanzo could easily deduce he was a man of great importance, as he approached the title Mizukage was referred to him. That was the very first time Hanzo had personally seen his kage and what a sight he was to behold. Hanzo was compelled by the man and decided to break his general rule and approach.

The sight he saw was mortifying to most, however the sight and smell of blood merely excited Hanzo to no ends, as he began to lick his lips excitedly, his pupiless white eyes shone with an appetite for blood. Instantly his blood hungry eyes laid upon the injured male on the floor and the bleeding dog. Looking to his side, his eyes came upon a genin of his age (Yoshi) "The hell happened here?"

My eyes shifted towards what seemed to be Kiri ninja who had stumbled into the situation at hand. I didn't need to really inform him per say because he could use his knowledge to infer the rest. I merely shifted my stance placing my right hand on my hip, and my left hand through my beautiful azure strands. This moment was horrible to say the least as everything within reality had just hit me. The wolf boy was and idiot except he was still a kirigakure ninja, his honor seemed to be none existent, except he was still a ninja upon our village.

"A traitor was just executed."

His punishment. . . should have been a thousand times worse. How dare anyone speak to my dear Mizukage - Sama like that and not be destroyed completely. I looked over casting my multicolored eyes, the orange had shown more prominently from my slits. My anger was showing which allowed the dark change with my sudden shift in temperature. My eyes changing was just the uchiha blood coursing inside my veins being denied any access to the dominant kage hebi cells.

I shifted my stance, raising my right hand, to the cerulean lipstick I was wearing. My finger pressed against my lips almost unconsciously testing if it was still wet. I had formed that habit from my anxiousness to be useful in any way possible. Whenever I would realize what I was doing that immediately sent my thirst for blood through the roof. Now this situation was exciting the same emotion but it wouldn't be advantageous of me to get in the middle. There would be a time for me to speak with the Mizukage and all I needed to do was wait.

Hime rolled under the man's foot missing Axel and whimpering as she looked back at him his blood having stained her fur as she bolted away into the alley ways, while the Guards took Axel to the prison as his vision finally went dark and he felt the ANBu carry him away.
