Your mission in particular is to assassinate a Stone Gennin. Your method is up to you but remember this shouldn’t be open killing unless no witnesses are around to see it. We don’t want war declared just yet.

Hanzo's mission was precise and exact, he knew exactly what he had to do and he could not have been anymore excited about shedding blood and violence. Excited, Hanzo specifically made sure that he sharpened his broadsword and his kunai. With that Hanzo set up and moved at dawn so that by the time he got to Iwagakure he would be there the next day. However due to his appearance he needed to be extremely careful, as his appearance will most probably give him away right off the bat. However he did leave his headband behind at home as not to make it blatantly obvious.

Hanzo walked through the barren village streets, the sun was barely rising from the horizon as his footsteps echoed as he made his way towards the village gates. As he made his way shops began to open and villagers began to rise from their slumber. Hanzo finally made his way towards the village gate. Life suddenly sprang in Kirigakure, Hanzo comically wondered if this was the last time he was ever going to see his village again.

At the gate, Hanzo presented the mission scroll to the ANBU guards at the gate and with a silent nod they let him through. The trek was not that far it was approximately a day. Outside the village Hanzo knew the exact direction he should take to exit the country, however once he gets to the stone country that was where it would be troublesome. He quickly reached the location at the edge of Mizu No Kuni and took a boat to take him to the main land.

On the boat, he had an interesting conversation with a chunnin who was on a secret mission, as far as he was told but nothing more, they talked about taijutsu and ninjutsu and even sparred a little while on the boat, being far more experienced than he, he was defeated but the chunnin did exclaim that Hanzo was quite powerful and they began to talk about his clan, all the meanwhile the boat steadily made it's way to the mainland.

That was it? How depressing, just mountains and rocks all over the place. It was times like this that Hanzo was most certainly glad to be a Kirigakure nin, not that the swamp lands and forests are that much better, but sure beats this barren wasteland. Hanzo got off the boat and looked around, it was going to be troublesome as hell to spot out a genin, kill him and return with his headband in this shit hole wasteland. On top of it all the heat was just unbearable, he did not mind heat but his is ridiculous. Hoshigake Hanzo was quite a massive male for someone his age, that on top of his unusually scaly, blue skin and the massive broadsword on his back made him stand out like a thumb sore and Hanzo was not a man who was stealthy or appreciated the art of stealth, he viewed himself as a warrior, not an assassin, however when push comes to shove, he does understand the elements of stealth and is able to implement it.

"Oh where, oh where could those Iwa pussies be?" Hanzo took the most bizarre route, making it quite difficult to track him. All the eye could see was cacti, desert, rocks and mountains, such a depressing sight Hanzo was getting rather impatient as his hunt as of yet was to no avail, and he did not have the slightest inclination of where Iwagakure might possibly be in the vast desert, it was like searching for a needle in a haystack. However Hanzo dredged on in solitude, like a lone shark in the vast ocean searching for it's pray. Once more, not a soul in sight, not even a wild beast or vulture. Hanzo walked through the barren mountains ranges. Preferring to stay away from open ranges and plateaus where he could be easily be spotted.

The major advantage that Hanzo had was his natural strength and his enhanced eyesight that allowed him to withstand the unbearable heat and the long walk and his eyesight aided him in spotting out Iwa shinobi who might be nearby as to evade capture. This was taking far too long, how is it that there are no wandering genin around? Usually Kiri nin could be spotted outside, even genins had missions outside the village, however Kiri nin by nature tend to be quite aggressive and on the move. The blazing sun began to set in the east, the mountain ranges concealing it. Hanzo was beginning to give up and was contemplating making camp between two steep ridges. As he was setting up camp, down below the ridge, his eyesight caught a single human walking through, he too paused to set up camp and Hanzo's psychotic toothy grin appeared. "Suppertime!"

Hanzo then began to stealthily move down the side of the mountain using a narrow, concealed path. As he steadily approached Hanzo's massive hands came together to forma a small string of handseals. Almost instantly after the last seal had been formed mist began to cover the area, the Iwa genin alerted got to his feet and began to look around. Mist was probably something they rarely ever saw in Iwagakure, however time was running out for this genin, for as soon as he backed into the massive shark man, Hoshigake Hanzo, his pupil less white eyes gleaming from beneath the mist, his razor sharp teeth grinning in a maniac ecstasy.


The genin wheeled around and attempted to punch Hanzo in the head, however to no avail as Hanzo's Sameheda skin blocked out the vast majority of the damage done. Hanzo then returned the punch with almost twice the force as he punched the genin square in his chest probably knocking the wind out of him as he laid on the floor sprawled. Hanzo cracked his knuckles and his neck and reached for the massive broadsword on his back as he moved forward to attempt to decapitate him, the genin had already formed a quick handseal and burrowed into the ground. Without thinking twice, Hanzo enraged slammed the ground with both fists causing the earth to rupture around him.

Hanzo wheeled around feeling his presence behind, he wheeled around to find that the Iwa genin resurfaced behind him. Hanzo charged at him and as he attempted to kick him, a wall of stone appeared between them, which Hanzo shattered, due to the power that is imbued within him due to his kekkei genkai. Hanzo followed it up quickly with a left punch to the face which knocked the Iwa genin back into the side of a mountain. Hanzo, the fierce shark being kept in pursuit and as he charged was unsheathing his broadsword and swung it right at him. Blood ruptured and sparks flew as his head cleanly flew off his neck, the Iwa genin was dead. Hanzo leaned down and retrieved his headband and then proceeded to dismember and disembowel his body, to make it appear as though a wild animal had done him away.

With that done, he needed to flee the scene immediately before capture, the sound of battle must have most probably alerted any nearby shinobi and he needed to leave immediately. Donning the Iwa headband he sprinted back to the border where he could catch the next boat sailing back to Kirigakure. Miraculously evading capture Hanzo made it to the rocky shore, where a boat was awaiting. Hanzo placed the Iwa headband in his vest and retrieved his Kiri headband and placed it back on his head slanting it to the lef as usual.

Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique)

Type: Supplementary / Suiton Ninjutsu
Range: 0 -10 meters
Handseals: Yes.
Chakra: Low to cast and sustain.
Special: Fills a large, 10 meter area with mist as long as the user keep the technique flowing. Each time retrained, area of mist expands by 10 more meters to a maximum of 50 meters. Mist blocks out all doujutsu requiring clear visibility, but does not hinder the ability to see chakra.
Description: Though very basic, the Hidden Mist Technique allows for the stealthier side of combat to rule. After forming a few simple handseals, the user causes the area surrounding their target to be covered in fog. The low visibility allows the ninja to silently and secretly assassinate their target, as they can move unseen, and if careful, unheard. The mist can be unsettled by a very strong wind based technique (for one post), though it will eventually return.

Kowai Shiryoku (Frightening Eyesight)

Special: Allows the user to have naturally enhanced eyesight in both the day and the night. As with all forms of enhanced senses, they are also more susceptible to their perspective weaknesses. Cannot be used to sense chakra. Rank determines range of enhanced vision.

Samehada (Shark Skin)

Special: Shark skin serves to halve incoming impacting damage, though piercing attacks, those that exploit an elemental weakness, or attacks stronger in rank will go through the cartilage with full power. Ineffective against Genjutsu.
Description: Part of what makes a Hoshigake so unique is its fusion of human and shark DNA. Having gained a thin layer of cartilage underneath their blueish skin as a result, the user learns how to use that cartilage in combination with their chakra in order to lessen the impact of melee strikes against them. By channeling their special shark chakra into the thin layer underneath the skin, the cartilage there begins to act like a sponge, ready to cushion damage. As a result, whenever the user is hit, the sponge-like manner of the cartilage absorbs a portion of the damage, reducing the damage done to the user significantly.

Same no Ryoku (Strength of the Shark)

Special: Greatly increases the user’s brute physical strength, to the point all Taijutsu strikes, whether from a special style or consisting of a simple punch, will carry bonus damage equal to the highest rank known of this technique. Rank also determines lifting power.

Description: Yet another fierce factor regarding sharks is their monstrous strength, represented in this passive ability that greatly increases the clan member's brute strength. With the shark DNA sprouting within, the clan member's muscles have become greatly enhanced and are capable of performing much greater actions of lifting and overpowering the opponent.
