As soon as possible get to the Kumagakure Dam and repair a crack in the side of it. You’re going to have to swim through the lake itself to the edge without falling over. From there you’ll have to rapell over the side somehow and climb 200 ft downwards where the exterior crack is located. Fix it, climb back up and return to base.

I was called in early this morning to report for a mission, it hadn't pissed me off even if it was the morning. I loved missions and had personally asked to be mailed whenever anything would be available to me. I stretched and yawned while strolling towards the offices of the kirigakure mission center. I opened the door with a quick movement and slammed it behind me. I wasn't and attention whore per say but it did feel good to get a rise out of some bitches. I immediately shoved some genin retard out of my way and slammed my scroll down to be notarized and sealed for the mission to get the go ahead.

She looked at it and silently wrote down that I needed another shinobi to accompany me on the mission. I didn't bother getting into a fuss with Miyazuki because she was a mute woman. I had no disrespect for the disabled, they were devalued by nature but not by me because everything has potential and everyone gets a fair shot to die honorably. I merely took the scroll and rolled it back up, I looked around the room before shouting around it in my egotistical tone of voice.

" Any of you fucktards wanna do a dangerous mission? '

Slowly, a otherworldly figure transcended through the slightly befogged village of Kirigakure, feeling the swelling urge to release his inner beast and succumb to his innate desires which was natures design to his own kind, but to the others he was a ravenous beast who knew not how to control himself. Even then he managed to hold himself back from devouring the souls behind each and every pair of prying eyes that clung to his form as he walked beastly, yet, listlessly through the lower slums of Kirigakure. Instead of physical rage, he responded to their scrutinizing looks with bestial snarls and starved teeth that could tear through even the thickest of venison. Apparently he was summoned once more by the mysterious new Mizukage to him to seemed to be a coward to not show his face.

However, whomever the current Mizukage was, he was the leader of Kirigakure, and thus the higher power that soldiers of mist must obey under any circumstance. Shirtless, Kiijin wore a simple pair of sweat pants accompanied by a simple pair of shinobi combat boots; it was his day to day attire, one of which he was force to adopt as him vagabonding around the village pantless seemed indecent within the eyes of many. Through the doors of the mizukage tower and up a set of spiralling stairs, he arrived at the door, closed with what sounded like some obnoxious shinobi looking for a comrade.

With a simply grip on the knob and a twist of his wrist, the door flew open. Kiijin was dead silence, menacing if you will as if the spirit of a demon watched over his back. His lips, parted in a toothy grin, screamed with a carnal hunger as he walked over towards the nagging ninja, taking the scroll from his hands.

"This aint a mission for you land bound meat sacks."

The little bitches before me seemed to cower in fear over my excited shout for a dangerous adventure. My arms waved the scroll in the air unraveled allowing anyone who would dare come near me to take it. I was too wrapped up within my ego to realize something had quickly snatched the scroll away from my grasp. When I turned my head the surprise of my life awaited me, now I had seen some stuff but a fucking air breathing shark was something else. I will admit when I saw him I moved back a little and bitched up. But when he called me a land bound meat sack I laughed as hard as I fucking could in his face.

" What was that blubber nugget? I couldn't hear you over all the bubbles and shit coming outta those gills of yours. If you think I can't do this then you bring it the fuck on. "

I felt unusually confrontational that day, maybe it was because it was the fucking morning and I hadn't had my sugar. I can admit that I was still young and maturing so I felt invincible as I put my fingers in the sharks face. I wouldn't expect him to try to bite since I loved raiton jutsu and I don't think fish like lightning to much. I stepped backwards and kicked a chair around and sat in a position with my hands leaning on the back of the chair while I stared at him. He was a ferocious looking nin but my primal urges had seemed to make me feel more suited to have him with me on the mission then anyone else. I began to speak again regardless of the answer he would give me.

" Yeah,Yeah. Cool Story bro but I need this shit done so you gonna help or do I need to fry your ass then eat you for a fucking snack on the way there? "

The man seemed to be quick on his feet given his response to Kiijin's quick jab at the human race. He respected that, evident by the grin that seemed to have grown wider, stretching from ear to ear as he cut the smaller man a malicious glare. It was already too late, whatever act of toughness he tried to put up after having jumped back at the mere sight of the Hoshigaki's form, it allowed Kiijin to see right through it. Nevertheless he chuckled, saying nothing in return after having been called a blubber nugget. The man seemed to be ignorant and foolish, believing that humans or even he was superior to the hoshigaki race, simply because he invested into the lightning arts, or claimed to have.

Kiijin never felt threatened by any creature, neither did he feel fear, the way he saw it there isn't anything to fear for any reason, but perhaps that had just been the mind Mizukagure's military force training him to adopt. The man spoke once more, inquiring about whether or not Kiijin was sincere about aiding him on this mission. Empty words just fell from his parted lips one by one as Kiijin turned and headed out the rooms door, the mission scroll wedged within Kiijin's firm, shark like grip. His grin never faded nor did it dampen, his malicious smile remained everlasting, even as he left the room, descended down a pair of spiraling stairs, and wound back out in the streets of Kirigakure.

My thoughts pursed over that retarded grin, it seemed like he wanted to tangle. I wanted to fight the dickhead because well he literally looked like he had a dick for a head. I stared at him because I could feel this vibe as if he was superior to me and that would be impossible. I didn't care what clan he came from i was the better of us two and I would prove it. I stepped forward about to scream at the jerk but he merely grinned and walked off out of the door down the stairway. I was so pissed off that I ran after him I mean how could he just walk away like nothing happened. I gave a tiny bit of chase as I dashed for the door twisting the knob as hard as I could and whisking the door open so hard it slammed against the wall.

" Get the fuck back here you damned overgrown goldfish!!!! "

I raced forward jumping my way down the spiral stairs landing on each of the banisters that were connected. As I flowed downward I reached upward at the final banister slowing my decent enough to land harshly on the ground. I raced forward out the final door were my hands repeating the process I did a few moments earlier to the mission rooms door. As I made my way out into the street I looked back and forth with my yellow optics. I finally pin-pointed his location he seemed to stroll a considerable distance from where I was. I was so pissed off at that moment I couldn't stand it as I flexed and allowed my chakra strings to come to life. I ran forward at full speed to catch up to him and give him a piece of my mind.

" You fucking fish! That is my fucking mission! Grr, you better not be trying to do it by yourself because you can't numb nuts!. Lol, or I should be saying no nuts. "

I said the last part lowly partly because I though it was really fucking hilarious. I sped up to my maximum speed almost breaking into a shunshin but I decided against it since I might need it later. After a few seconds I had gained enough distance to be near him and I attempted to reach for the scroll. If he would contest it I would fight him with all my might for it. I was a primal creature and this was merely what happens when two mega predators meet each other and guess what shit happens.

Step after step he advanced through the vagabonding crowds of kirigakure civilians, his grin still as wide as it could have possibly been. Kiijin's hulking six foot form, covered in knotted muscle, pressed through columns of day to day people as they parted from his path like the red sea, making it a priority to not get in his way. He was truly a creature that represented not only the Mizukage, but fear and death itself. The warrior poet was just an artist aching to express himself with the blood of his enemies, not his own countrymen; although they feared him instead and wished him gone, all except one. A young boy who seemed to have been around the age of 6 confronted him. The young lads height barely started to rise above Kiijin's own knee in height - cute. The curious boy looked up at him and he looked back, both pair of eyes devoid of fear, yet both were still different in more ways than one.

The boy was a strange one indeed, he held this inexplicable desire to approach Kiijin whenever spotted out in the open within the village. Looking down at the boy, Kiijin only wondered who he was, where he lived, and more importantly, why did it find it necessary to approach him whenever they cross paths. Perhaps a childish attempt to be brave or maybe just a precursor to a fine shinobi. Nevertheless, like countless of times before they just stood there in silence as if the world outside of their senses no longer existed, and then, Kiijin simply patted the lad upon his head. During that time half the words of his partner feel on deaf ears, however, his subconscious managed to maintain some of the words and insults.

"quit yer whining, its just a scroll. . ."

Moving past the young boy, he tossed to scroll backwardly towards his partner, whether or not he had the skill to catch it was beyond Kiijin. With what he gathered from the scrolls content, he had done this mission once before and it seemed that the patch he fixed with his hoshigaki brethren broke once more.

". . .besides, I've had to fix this damn once before. Won't be hard to do it again."

The shark skinned dude seemed to throw the scroll to me in a lazy manner. I barely had to react to catch it so I didn't I moved my fingers and allowed Sanu to grab it. It was a swift motion and I smirked as i felt a weird sort of accomplishment since that was a hard maneuver to do. In my own self indulgence I barely heard that he had finished this mission before which kinda pissed me off. they were merely sending me in to redo something that wasn't done right the first time which was horrid. I wanted to smack that damn fish for doing such a bad job but there was a weird sensation that vibrated along my body. It wasn't fear but a semblance of my predator instincts known as - madness.

" I just wanna finish this quickly because this is bitch work. "

I tried to hide the mental anguish I had inside but it leaked out with my last two words. I looked up towards the sky and followed behind him, I changed my mood being silent. I didn't understand my severely cranky mood which was making me seem more and more childish by my shark partner. But that glimpse I just had of tearing someone apart and drinking all the blood that they had inside pierced my mind. I wasn't a fucking vampire but that just seemed like ultimate victory over something to dominate to the point it is assimilated as a trophy. I shook my head before trying to gain back my cocky demeanor but it failed miserably as we were close to the limits of Kirigakure.

" Damn, this is gonna be a fucking long ass travel. "

Kiijin's sandaled feet carried him towards the inner gates of kirigakure little by little. His head turned back over his right shoulder every few seconds, cutting his partner quick second glances, making sure he was keeping up and nothing harmful decided to come his way. The way he looked back and the way his predator eyes jumped back and forth from person to person, building to building trying to pinpoint any sign of danger was just a paranoiac habit. From years of putting his life on the like in countless missions in the name of not one or two, but multiple Mizukage's as long with the temporaries. He faced acts of violence and betrayal even from his own comrades whom he believed to be trustworthy.

"The mission itself is fairly simple, I deal with this kind of crap all the time. Kirigakure's water pressure can be a bitch at times, but someones gotta do the dirty work."

His toothy grin faded and swapped presence with a expression of seriousness and malice as the reached the gates. Kiijin with a quick play of his hand whipped out his shinobi identification card to verify his active duty within the Village's military. He hoped that his partner for this mission had sense enough to show them the missions scroll which granted them permission out of the village. The large double-door gates parted inwardly, Kiijin stepped through and basked in the blast of pervasive mist that everlastingly cursed the country.

"Never get used to that feeling. . .dangerously refreshing!"

As I followed along I listened to the shark, his tone was more as if he was talking to and inanimate object then to me. He merely put voice to the very thing I thought the job was but I didn't decide to speak back this time since I was trying to keep myself calm. We were at the Kiri gates relatively quickly I would guess our speed walking would pay off in a certain sense. As we spproached the gates we were stopped by the guards, they had a stoic and almost melancholy look upon there faces when they saw us both. The first one placed his palm forward in a warning manner before speaking towards the both of us.

" Halt! Were are your papers authorizing your movement past this point. "

Almost on cue I saw the shark receive his identification card and show it to them both. I thought it was fucking retarded since they could clearly see my headband around my neck but I still reached into Sanu's arms and removed the scroll from his possession. I unravelled it and walked forward towards the guards, they inspected the scroll quickly not even having to take it from me before they sealed. I could see that a pulse of chakra had split down the door opening up the gates. A mist shattered the clearness of our point, I was intrigued by this a hundred fold and would speak in and excited tone.

" Damn! So this is the reason why were the fucking bloody mist. I can see why were just that fucking awesome. "

My intrigue merely a reaction to my instincts to kill within the guise of such a perfect mist. I began walking forward along with my shark companion into the dense and ominous mist. The fog was deep and hindered my vision only slightly yet my excitement was still at it's highest levels. This would be my first time truly traveling the lands of Mizu no Kuni for a mission such as this. I wanted to speed forward and almost dance within the mist but controlled myself as I looked over at the hulking shark of a partner I had. I finally had the chance to have a good look at him and honestly for a shark creature he was quite appealing if you went for that kind of thing. He looked like he would kill you and from that smile I doubted he couldn't accomplish such a task. Something deep inside of me wanted to fight him but a true hunter does no such thing to give away his final objectives.

With their credential clarified and cleared, the Kirigakure duo proceeded out through the village gates. Through the eerie mist Kiijin heard the haunting squeaks of the closing gates before they slammed shut, almost like some kind of haunted ghost town. Momentarily he looked back at his partner who seemed to have talked about what made Kirigakure so glorious and powerful, and he approved with he said. Throughout the years Kiijin acquired a mental map of the area outside of Kirigakure no sato, knowing the lay of the land just as much as he did the village itself.

"I agree, Kiri Is 'awesome', its only right since we're the most brutal and superior village. Its only natural."

Hands at his side with his grin slowly returning, he could smell the dam which hadn't been too far from their mobile position. They were getting close to their destination, however, some time still laid before them and Kiijin hated silence more than anything, so he spoke, inquiring about his partners personal life.

"Y'know, everyone has a back-story, whats yours?"

I tried my best to not give my "no shit sherlock" attitude when he confirmed my suspicions on our beloved village. I placed my hands behind my back allowing my puppet strings to dangle holding Sanu tightly to my back. I couldn't really feel or sense anything this was my first time going so far out of the borders of Kirigakure. In all honesty I had no fucking idea of where I was going but I didn't want to tell ole shark face in front of me that. I could hear the shark talk towards me, this time his tone was more social and less condescending. I responded seeing as I felt no need to hide something which I felt wasn't a big deal.

" I wasn't born in Kirigakure to be very honest. I was born in Takigakure, my parents were little pricks and sold me when I was five years old to a kirigakure man. He was a sick twisted freak from which I had the chance to dispatch from the world. "

I paused for a moment within my speak wondering if I should tell him the rest, I decided I should since he wouldn't give two shits.

" It was five years ago when my demented owner started attacking and abusing me. Heh, I was tortured, whipped, beaten to within and inch of my life. I was treated like I was lesser then dirt then he made me watch some him do some horrid shit to his other captive. Sanu.....he would rape and defile that boy like he meant little to nothing to him. He ended up killing him in a fit of rage. . . that was the same day he decided that I should have my arm chopped off. Don't look at me crazy because he never even got to do it since I slashed his stomach and ripped his intestines out. "

I stopped my story right there not wanting to go on with it. I looked upward toward the sky, I didn't know why I had told him something that was so personal. I guess it was and unexpected and while thing to do so I did it without a care. He was a battle hardened ninja I thought he would care or even bat and eyelash at some emo kid saying he was tortured and possibly molested. That kid of stuff is retard territory and I merely walked a bit faster to pass him completely to get a little bit of distance between us. I was a pure animal but faced with a truly pure animal am I just and imitation and the truth is I have no identity. I wondered my existence one more after the story I had just told.

Kiijin's grin lessened as his partner began to go into his 'story'. Although it may have seemed personal and fairly blunt, it was a universal question that Kiijin always asked his comrades, especially when paired to accomplish some task or mission. Although there were some comrades and Kirigakure shinobi that he just did not get along with and held no desire to connect, he felt obligated to know at least something about who he worked with, even if it was something minuscule. Forming bonds in the name of comradeship to Kiijin always was a essential element within the realm of team work.

His pace of walking slowed up, enough so that it allowed his partner to catch up which placed him shoulder to shoulder to Kiijin as they traversed through moist earth to reach their destination. Like most stories his was filled with some sort of fucked up childhood, which strangely only reminded him of himself and Takumi who had fairly simple childhoods. He wanted to show that he cared, however, he had been sure he would have known Kiijin were lying if he said he understood how he felt. As his words ended, Kiijin, as always, felt obligated to lay down his own story, despite it having not been as long nor as traumatizing as his partners had been.

""Simple really. Little fish boy growing up in the slums of Kirigakure, physically strong than most, feared by everyone, shunned by everyone. Lets just say at one point in time I had to kill me a meat-sack tasted blood for the first time, and boy was it addicting. Since then -aside from getting stronger- I had this unfulfilled desire to taste the blood of at least a single ninja from each village while enforcing the power of Hoshigake upon the world. So I joined up with Kiri's military, and here I am.""

With their minutes of walking and exchanges of words, they were well on their way to the dam, enough so that it fell within Kiijin's field of vision, so close, the mission had already been halfway over.

I had bared something which was my most inner secret without even a care to someone I barely knew. I had left out specific things like the nature of me and Sanu's relationship but he didn't need to know. I kept a steady pace beside the hulking hybrid of a fish man. It would seem he was obliged to talk of his own back story to his character. I listened trying to find something new and fantastic, yet I was brought with the cliche that he was just a fear mongering murderer. He didn't even say a purpose to kill just the impulse to end another life. I thought it a mundane thing to kill unless there is a purpose towards it. Even if I kill someone the reason could be from I hate them or I just felt fucking random and fate led my eyes to them.

I looked over my shoulder looking at the mobile doll that I made for my beloved. Sanu had a perpetual smile upon his lips, I couldn't help but smile back at it with a more genuine one. My hand, reached behind me to softly part the hair on my puppet to the side. He had always wanted me to part his hair in a certain way because he never felt confident in himself enough to do it himself. I tried not to shed a tear as I faced forward towards, my yellow shells peered on something which pierced through the mist. It would seem we were closer to the dam then originally thought. I sped up a little bit surpassing the shark by what seemed to be a tiny little meter and turned to look towards him.

"Home sweet home!"

He spoke loudly to his Kirigakure brethren and to all those who managed to have been in ear shot of his mighty voice. Like a child on its birthday he blitzed forward as they approached the dam and dove into its flowing waters with a massive leap. His arms came together which caused his body to form a 'arrow'. He sunk into the oceans essence as smooth as possible, barely giving back a splash. He came to the surface soon enough, swimming with with fishies as he claimed to have been hungry. As the thought came to mind, Kiijin himself had not eaten recently, perhaps it was time for a well deserved meal.

"Heh! Now that I think about it I could use a bite to eat. What about you!? We should go hunt some game! Been a while since I had a good swim, that damn flat ground living does that to ya."

Wasting no time at all he submerged once more, speeding faster than any other aquatic life, becoming the seas most feared enemy. He managed to snatch up a few ample fish here and there, but it was nothing large enough to completely fill the void in his stomach that no mere school of fish could fill. He needed something bigger, but first that damn needed to taken care of, with that he headed down the dam near the cliff itself where it went into a waterfall. He memorized the location from the previous attempt to fix it.

I quietly continued to walk, I looked at my shark partner and he seemed excited as we had finally reached the dam. His excitement unnerved me for a bit since he was a big ass shark yelling he was home. I looked around wondering who the fuck he was talking to in particular and found myself walking up the stairs of the dam. Once finally at the top which took five fucking minutes just to do that he began to speak about eating. I shook my head since I didn't like fish as a food since the taste annoyed the hell out of me. I watched as he jumped directly into the higher end of the damn plunging himself into the side from which would need patching. I walked towards the other edge were water was flowing out in equal rates I looked backwards and spoke to my shark companion.

I looked forward finally seeing the full extent of what our job entitled, it was massive in size and the water draining off the top made me think the mission was impossible. I stopped and looked at my sharp companion who just decided to go on forward. I didn't have anything to help myself breath under the water so I really thought he should do it himself. I yelled towards him once he had reached the perfect place for himself to jump in.

" Yeah, I didn't expect the freaking thing to be like in the fucking sky. I mean this is more suited for you right? "

Sanu had no underwater equipment so my main means of sealing it wouldn't work at all, so I relied on the shark companion who had done this job before. It shouldn't take him that long since I was a lazy fucking guy unless it came to battle. I watch quietly as he continued on in eating and all around happiness. I have to say watching him happy scares the fuck out me and I kinda lost my nerve again.
