Meal time. (Open)

[Taizo]

Taizo had been working all day and was pretty tired because of it, so he couldn't really be bothered to cook his own meal. The solution to this problem was a meal out, there was a pretty nice restaurant in the village, apparently one of the other genin had took his girl friend there. So it came well recommend, it was slightly on the pricey side apparently but this was a rare occurrence for Taizo so he decided that money wasn't going to an object.

He would pull the door to the restaurant open and enter a small gust of wind caused his short black hair to flicker around aimlessly. He was still in his ninja attire, although it was a rare event that he wore different clothing so he would show no sign of being embarrassed about his clothing. He would make his way to the bar, where a bartender would assist with his order of refreshments. [red] “I will have a pint of cola please”[/red] once he had received a cola he would take a seat at a table for two. The table was covered with a crisp white cloth and a single red rose, which flowed well with the high class aura that the whole area was exerting.

His red eyes flickered through the menu, so many choices that he didn't know what to order. Perhaps he would have a starter, the coconut shrimp sounded nice. In the end Taizo would decided on coconut shrimp, with the twelve oz Strip Sirloin apparently this also came with sautéed mushrooms, onions, peppers and potato. All together it sounded like one hell of a meal. So Taizo would call a waiter over a place his order now all that was left was to wait.

He decided to pass the time by reading a small scroll that he had loaned from the village library it was on the behaviour of birds, in particular the Corvus genus aka crows. Tazio was planning on tracking some Common Raven in the future, which he was planing on using as familiars.

[Himeko-Maho]

As coincidence would have it, Himeko just so happened to be trying out this restaurant that Taizo was investigating as well. She sat quietly at her table, having not yet been served. She caught a glance of the ebony-haired boy, and took note of him, merely for the fact that he was dressed in shinobi-gear. Not that it was too unusual to her, but he seemed a little... out of place with the rest of the crowd gathered in the general vicinity.

She, as well, stood out, her outfit revealing, as well as odd. Definitely not the kind of outfit one would wear to a 'tie and dress' establishment. Nonetheless, as a shinobi of Kirigakure, she could get away with things that most people couldn't. That included wearing almost anything she wanted anywhere in the village... provided it wasn't too 'gaudy'.

Her attention was then directed to the waiter who approached her table, laying down a delicious-smelling plate of food. He smiled at Himeko, and she would return the favor, adding a small 'Thank you' as well. With a bow, the man would leave, freeing Himeko to stare down at her food. A nice, juicy slab of steak sat before her, a small slice of butter melting on it before her eyes, and a healthy coat of gravy upon it. She nearly began to drool as she stared at it, quickly giving in and grabbing a fork and a knife. She cut a small forkful off, and placed it in her mouth...

"Amazing!" she nearly cried out, somehow managing to keep from shouting. Still, the dirty looks from all around were apparent... not that Himeko noticed. Her eyes sparkled, and one could almost see the stars displayed in them (If one could truly have stars in their eyes). Fingers creeping to her face, she held onto both of her cheeks as her eyes closed, savoring the tender slab of meat that she had eaten.

[Hakuturi]

After a long, tiring day of sitting around relaxing the jounin felt something shift in his stomach - the juices flowing with each step he took towards his destination. 'God damn I really need to start carrying food with me, this better work,' a flawless plan had been concocted in his mind as the restaurant came into view, his stomach to be full very soon. Unfortunately in his normal attire he wasn't well-dressed enough to enter the establishment and also he didn't really feel like paying so this meant very delicate measures would have to be taken.

"Alright, Henge!" the transformation jutsu was performed changing the somewhat tall boy of 19 into a completely different and unrecognizable appearance. The 6 foot height was now reduced to a small size barely over 4 feet, hair completely disappearing but being covered by an old-fashioned hat and the jounin flak jacket as well as red coat on top replaced by a green overcoat and tight fitting black pants - facial features noticeably older and cane now the accessory in his right hand.

In these new suave clothes the transformed Haku walked up to the front of the restaurant and was escorted in by the doorman, the first stop would be the bar. Making his way towards the bar a small exclamation of joy was heard from his left which startled him, already he had been found out?

"Amazing!" turning to look in the direction the sound came from he released a sigh, it was just some girl impressed with her food - nothing worth mulling over. Unusually quick steps took the man with the cane to the bar where he jumped up impressively onto a stool, legs dangling several feet from the ground in this position. Picking up a menu he took not more than a second to glance at the page with the meats selections and tapped on it to draw attention from the waiter just walking by "One of everything on this page please, to go." yeah that would hold him over for a few hours at least.

Taking a peek back at the tables he eyed a few people, one being a boy who appeared close to his own real age and size, a fellow ninja from his appearance. Perhaps he could figure out a few things about some other shinobi whilst waiting for all the food to be prepared. The jounin jumped from the chair and walked towards the table the boy sat at, but before reaching it would perform a dramatic trip acting as though he had slipped on a wet spot on the floor.

While falling forward the cane in his right hand was released would fly towards the boy's (Taizo's) face seemingly accidentally from any observers, upon the cane leaving his hand the man would use his hands to stop his fall and observe what the boy did as the cane went towards him.

[Taizo]

It wasn't long before the waiter returned, with a silver platter. Taizo would roll up the scroll in anticipation of what was to come. Slotting it back into the small butt bag strapped to his left leg. The waiter would place the dish on the table in front of Taizo [yellow] “Please enjoy your meal sir”[/yellow] he would then leave to attend to other customrs. Taizo's shrimp had arrived, it looked really good so he began to dig in dipping them in the coconut sauce provided with the starter. The ten shrimp wouldn't last long so he would move on to the salad bedding, pouring the excess coconut sauce on to form a salad dressing.

His starter out of the way he began to look forward to his main meal, his attention was draw to a girl who had received a steak. Quite a revealing outfit to say the least, it looked like her breasts were about to appear at any moment. Not that this bothered Taizo, he was more occupied with eyeing her food. Although he would note her appearance mentally, given that this was a ninja village he would also assume that she was a ninja, but the rank he was yet to determine. Perhaps she would see his gaze from across the room.

It would be a few minutes time before Taizo's steak would arrive, along with the garnishing. The steak was medium rare, just the way he liked it, eat bite was like a small piece of heaven. He would definitely be coming back here again. Although it seemed that he wouldn't be able to finish the whole meal, the potatoes and other side orders had filled him up so he was only able to manage three quarters of the steak. He would place his knife and fork on the plate clearly showing that he was finished the dish. With this he would lean back in to his chair, and let out a small sigh of disappointment, he would have liked to have finished everything on his plate but oh well. He would take a large drink of his cola.

Taizo would then notice the old man walking towards him, his over dramatic trip seemed to be fake after all the floor wasn't wet neither was there any object to trip over. A cane would be released heading towards Taizo's head, now Taijutsu wasn't exactly his speciality but he was still reasonably skilled at it. So he would catch the centre of the cane, placing it down beside his hair. So what was the reason for this apparent test ?

[Himeko-Maho]

The meat before her was almost enough to distract her from just about everything else in the room... almost. The sudden clatter of someone falling alerted her that things were not quite right in this place, twin aquamarine pools jumping open to view the world around her. It was because of this that she would notice the 'old man' upon the floor. She blinked several times, and would then glance towards where the man was facing.

The one whom she had noted before, standing out and not fitting in, was holding a cane within his grasp, right beside his head. Again, she would blink, and then look between the two whom had caught her attention. What exactly had been going on here? The old man tripped... and his cane had shot off toward the young man? It didn't seem quite likely, at least from the distance. To her, it didn't quite fit that the old man would trip and his cane would fly so far, and so accurately.

Fork and knife were folded across each other, gently placed upon her plate without a sound. Her manners forbade her from rising immediately, hands clasping around a napkin, which would be applied to her mouth for a moment. Once clean, she would place her hands together, saying a tiny, silent blessing, and would then rise slowly from her seat. It looked like a potential scene could break out here...

[Hakuturi]

'I guess I didn't think that one all the way through,' each and every eye in the room had made its way towards the old man, a weak smile coming to his face as he struggled to stand up - knees wobbling when finally to his feet. Unfortunately his plan of not bringing too much attention to himself to walk out without paying had fallen apart in his curiosity. Interestingly enough it seemed that the cane had been intercepted quite easily, though really this wasn't anything to be impressed about as it simply confirmed that the boy was a somewhat competent shinobi.

A weak smile indicated that he was alright and with quick steps he took himself to the table Taizo was sitting. "Oi thanks for catching my cane, I can be so clumsy sometimes." Haku laughed keeping both eyes on the boy and reaching his right hand out to collect it, "What might your name be, obviously you must be a ninja of this village," it would probably appear odd that such an old frail looking man was able to even get up from a harsh fall let alone not be affected by it at all but it wasn't a detail the jounin was concerning himself with at this very moment.

[Taizo]

It seemed that this 'accident' had draw the eyes of most people in the room, the manner in which it had happened and the way that the old man looked unscathed after rising back to his feet made Taizo very much doubt that this man was in fact who he was pretending to be. If Taizo recalled correctly the villages school taught a very basic level technique which allowed the use to take the form of others for a short while. Could it be that this is what the old man was using? Another thing that he remember is that most ninja didn't spend a great deal of time learning the technique so most could only remain in that form for a couple of seconds.

It would seem that only time would tell if this was the technique in play. Taizo would remain seated as the old man made his way to the table, he wanted to appear oblivious to what had happened and pretend this was just an ordinary thing for an old man to do. [green]"Oi thanks for catching my cane, I can be so clumsy sometimes." [/green] Taizo would pass the cane over to the man. [red] “Its fine, looked like you have had a bad fall are you okay ?”[/red]

Taizo would be taking note of everything around him, after all it was important to take note of your surroundings. Even the small things such as a couple holding hands a few tables away would have been notices, so when the girl that Taizo had been watching stood up, he began to wonder what was going to happen. The speed that she had eaten her meal suggested that she wasn't by any means full, so he doubted that she would be leaving for that reason. In stead he would assume it was in case trouble broke out between himself and the old man.

[green]"What might your name be, obviously you must be a ninja of this village"[/green] The name of a warrior was an important asset so Taizo didn't plan on giving it up easily. [red] “My name is Zero, how about you ? Do you have a name ?”[/red]

[Himeko-Maho]

The fact that the 'old man' had struggled to get up supported the fact that he may have been an old man... But Himeko's suspicions were even deeper rooted after he easily wandered over to the boy's table, without assistance of any kind. What, then, was the point of the cane in the first place? Perhaps.... it was the man's mind that was damaged, rather than his body.... but that didn't seem as likely.

The blonde-haired swordswoman took a small breath, and then followed up behind the 'old man'. She would wait a moment as she came up behind him, gathering herself before throwing herself at the mercy of the gods. She put on her most charming smile, and straightened up. Then she would lightly plant her hand upon the man's shoulder.

"Quite a nasty fall, sir. Everything okay over here?" she would ask, her mouth not visible, but her eyes easily portraying the bright smile on her face.

[Hakuturi]

Already-narrow eyes squinted further as the boy gave his answer for his name, the gut feeling being that Zero didn't have trust in him or his intentions. Of course deception was supposed to be seen through by a competent ninja, and his own deception in appearance must not have appeared convincing..perhaps practicing the act in this form more would have worked better.

Upon realising this the smile returned to the face of Haku, "My name is..not important, just an old soul passing by at my favourite restaurant," the words and appearance masked the slight anxiety, he needed to get outside to redo the jutsu before he was found out. "Now I'll just be taking that cane and be on my wa.." before the final word was completed a hand came to his shoulder from behind accompanied by words, these words were barely heard as the sudden touch startled the jounin causing his own flow of chakra to be disturbed - his henge reversing him back to his real form and causing the cane to disappear in a puff of smoke involuntarily.

The change to a 19 year old boy would be a bit surprising to any outsiders who still were looking in at the confrontation, a good two feet of growth in height happening instantaneously as well as his familiar attire being worn. A sigh escaped Haku's lips with his left hand going behind his head in discontent at his unsuccessful plan, his head tilting slightly to the side so one eye would be on the girl who had startled him, "Yeah everything's in order miss," this one seemed to be of a similar age simply from facial appearance though the lower half was covered by cloth, also of note was that she was rather tall for a female - standing at his own eye level.

"Learning about fellow shinobi fascinates me, sometimes curiosity gets the better of me..and to answer your question truthfully Zero my name is Hakuturi Shigure, what might your's be?" the question was directed towards the girl, a wry smile came to his face before moving his hands to his sides - "Err, I suppose I should apologise for interrupting your meals, but if I'm honest I quite enjoyed it!" Taking a seat at the same table Zero was sat at the jounin began looking through a menu once more.

Without lifting his eyes from the menu or really even waiting for the permission to stay there he spoke again, "You were reading a scroll earlier, what exactly was inside of it?"

[Taizo]

Taizo wouldn’t appear surprised in the slightest as the old man seemingly transformed back into his original form. As he observed the ninjas mannerisms Taizo would try to make a rating on his skill, as he had failed his henge maybe he would be a low skilled ninja, although then again he may have just done this to appear unskilled. [green]"Learning about fellow shinobi fascinates me, sometimes curiosity gets the better of me..and to answer your question truthfully Zero my name is Hakuturi Shigure, what might your's be?"[/green]

[red] “I've already told you old man, my name is Zero. Isn't my name to your liking ?”[/red] It was irrelevant what this old man thought about this situation as Taizo quite simply didn't care. [green] "Err, I suppose I should apologise for interrupting your meals, but if I'm honest I quite enjoyed it!"[/green] As the ninja sat down at the table Taizo decided to leave, he would hand the money to a man at the door as he left.

[Himeko-Maho]

Delicate eyes surveyed the scene, a brow quirking as the 'old man' that had been there but moments before was replaced by a distinguishably younger male. A hitai-ate upon his brow marked him as a shinobi of Kirigakure, a fellow shinobi. The tall girl, Himeko, was confused by the need of disguise, especially if one was to reveal themselves so easily. Aqua pools continued scanning what was before the ebony kunoichi, the scene growing more and more awkward.

"Yeah everything's in order miss. Learning about fellow shinobi fascinates me, sometimes curiosity gets the better of me..and to answer your question truthfully Zero my name is Hakuturi Shigure, what might your's be?" Himeko found something very odd about this male... Something that just didn't quite rub her the right way. Brow still risen, she watched him carefully.

"Masamoshi... Himeko," she said softly, the slightest tinge of emotion displayed within her words, the slight distrust that she held very carefully hidden. Without asking, or a second thought, the man would slide himself down into a seat at the table. He picked up a menu, as if nothing had happened, and Himeko would take this as her own sign to leave the two alone. However, as she turned to leave, the first one, Zero, apparently, seemed to have decided that he wasn't going to put up with anything, and simply brushed past her.

'What a strange evening,' the girl thought to herself, pausing a moment in her path to her meal to watch the 'Zero' character leave.
