Wow them with stories of war and death and teach them a jutsu or two. The Kage would like this to be a weekly event to keep the moral up. Special Info: Can be taken indefinitely. The absolute last thing I had ever wanted to do, was teach to a class of a bunch of snot-nosed brats. Don't get me wrong, I haven't forgotten my days in the academy, but these kids were nowhere near my old classes level. When I first arrived at the academy it's previous composition from my days of attending had been, for lack of another world, completely abandoned. It was amazing to see how much the academy had changed since I had left so many years ago. I had been 15 When I became a Genin, which is pretty old for an academy student might I add. I had been held back so many times simply because I found all of the repetitive work tedious and annoying. After all, they taught the same jutsu over and over again, and lets face it, transforming into an old man and hiding in the crowd like a coward wouldn't be nearly enough to defeat an Uchiha or Hyuga. No, I spent my days mastering techniques I could use effectively in the field, which is probably the only reason I'm alive today. Now I found myself once again trapped in the ugly blue walls of the Kirigakure academy. From the corner of my eyes I could see the academy students surrounding my shadow, and staring at my with excitement. In some I could see great potential. I kept walking, trying to ignore the admiring gaze of the academy students. As I continued down the rusty blue hallways I finally reached the class I was assigned to. My nerves had finally began to catch up with me and I could fell the mission dossier in my hand feverishly vibrate in my hands. Why am I so nervous to speak now? I had never had a problem speaking in public before, so what difference could it possibly make that I'm teaching these brats now? At the last minute I swallowed my fear and slid the doors open, then hesitantly strode into the classroom. To my surprise this was the only part of the building that had not changed. The classroom was the same disgusting teal blue they had been when I was there prisoner for 6 hours a day. The desk were still pretty basic and uniform: four wooden tables separated along the elevated steps that climbed steadily towards the back of the wall. Even the students were no different, they had the same bored and unimpressed expressions on their face even before I had entered the room. My usual calm demeanor was suddenly revitalized. These kids were exactly as I was when I was there age. They just wanted me to get in and occupy their time with something, at the very least, long enough to help past time on the clock until 3:30. Luckily for these kids i had been in their shoes not too long ago, and I was prepared to give them them most thrilling stories they would ever here. "Class this is Yoarashi Nagi, he will be informing you on how the World of Shinobi actually function as a real life Shinobi!" I had to admit, even for my taste that intro was kinda corny. The students especially had no reaction to the teacher's over reaction. Their eyes flicked towards me, and in some eyes I saw interest or fascination, but in the large majority of the class their was melancholy and general indifference. "Good afternoon," I chimed, and was thrilled when i heard the echo of responses tear from the class, "As you guys already know, i am a shinobi of the hidden leaf, and three yeasr ago i was a student just as you." It didn't take long for a hand to shoot up in the air and the excited eyes of an acdemy student lit up as they awaited for me to address them. I pointed my finger to the student, signaling that it was now acceptable for him to speak. " If you've been out of the academy for three years, how come your just a genin?" The boy smiled at his at his question, and i immediately knew then that this question was asked in spite, instead of honest curiousity. Well since he had something smart to say to impress his little friends, surely he wouldnt mind a cruel retort from the man he had insulted. The ignorant child who had thought he had embarassed me had his gaze focus on the floor, as his cheeks burned red and made him resemble a tomato. I felt a whole burning in my neck from where the intructor of the glass was glaring at me. I dared not face him, because I knew that right now, in this uproar of humor and amusement, he was not in the least bit amused. I coughed loudly and interrupted the ludicrous laughter that had ruled the class room for far too long. " Now, if no one else has anything they want to say I can begin my presentation now". The class remained silent in eager anticipation of the words I would speak, and the stories my words would bring. Right now, in this classroom, I was the single most influential figure in these future shinobi's lives, and that was a position that held more importance than even the Mizukage. It was of my first mission. Unlike common Genin, I was alone; my reputation as a unbearable monster had completely separated me from the rest of the graduated academy students. They had paired off with long time friends and rivals, and some even formed pairs with love interests. But I was of no importance to them, I was just additional background scenery in the vibrant, yet short prime of youth they would have. So I asked the Mizukage if I could remain a solo cell, instead of participating with a squad. My first mission was to track down and recover a lost poodle. It sounded easy, and at first it proved to be so, but as the mission progressed i had far too many difficulties. No one had told me that this dog was a courier for important incoming information from the hidden sand village, and that I was a distraction meant to retrieve the scroll. The instant I reached the poodle I was battered with the black, metallic rain of shurikens stabbing and striking me as a hidden sand Shinobi had jumped from the bushes and stole the dog. I was so dazed and confused my the sudden pace change of the mission that I hadn't even thought of calling for back-up. Instead, I immediately pursed the dog napper and subdued him long enough for other mist Shinobi to notice the uproar. The Shinobi then rushed to my aid and the dog was secured. That day I was praised by the Mizukage, and was even offered her seat, but because I was so awesome. These Academy students had more passion now than before my visit. And even though their instructor was well aware of the truth, he remained quiet at his desk, simply smirking as my eyes met his. The truth is there were no reinforcements, there was only me, the Sand Shinobi, and that damn whimpering dog. He had threw the dog to the side and fiercely threw two kunai at me, yet my blade had easily deflected his blows, and I charged at him. We had battled for two hours, no help would come for him, and none would come for me. He may have been my superior in rank, but as far as skill went I was truly on a completely different level. His swings and posture were sloppy and crude, yet my blade danced in the air and parried every swing he took. I made sure to keep pace with him, to guarantee he would have any time to form hands signs or create any jutsu. He eventually knew he was outmatched and attempted to flee, only to be caught in the back by my blade. But I could never tell these kids those gruesome stories, no, they would see for themselves just how horrible the Shinobi World can be, no matter what I said I could never prepare them. I exited the academy and proceeded towards the Mizukage's Residence, my mind wandering, and my heart in turmoil.
