What... would it take...[/blockquote]
The night had bore her, gifting her with all of its most eminent aspects. Its darkness engulfed her entire figure, completely encasing her in a silken ebony from head to toe. She carried its silence; head bowed, eyes closed, she strolled nonchanlantly. Onlookers, unbeknownst to the pain stirring within her soul, saw only a woman of powerful dark beauty. It wasn't often she chose to summon her memories of the past, but one needed to reawaken pain every once and awhile. To acknowledge it. To feel it.
The night made her journey all the more morbid and lonely- she wished for a companion. Anyone, actually. She wasn't particularly fond of people, but she wanted someone to share in her indulgence, to feel the agony she was in. No; if only the world would stop turning, and be silent, just for one day. That would do it. That would let them all know. She wished the night would last forever, for to her, it was the epitome of beauty and freedom. That's right. Morning would come soon enough. It was time to get this show on the road.
To bring...
"Alright, Akemi," she whispered, stopping in her tracks. She raised her chin high and revealed her gorgeous amber optics to the latter, placing her hands neatly on her slender hips. "You've finally got me out here," she admitted, glancing to the side and smiling to herself. "Now what do you want?" A little girl suddenly appeared before her, seemingly from out of no where.
She wore simple black attire, like Zamarron, only her ensemble was much more humble, and not to mention age appropriate. A lacy, long sleeved dress that reached all the way down to her knees, with simple black flats. Her black hair was pulled back into two low ponytails, leaving her bangs to roam free. The only color, as well as the most striking attribute of hers, were her eyes. Brilliant emerald gems, rich and hypnotizing. Indeed; this was Akemi.
Not even Zamarron knew if the girl was real or not. But to her, it didn't matter; whatever she was, she definately got the job done.
"I wanted to show you something, Zammy!" she squeeled delightedly, her voice sounding much like an immature version of Zamarron's own musical alto. Zamarron clicked her tongue, rolling her eyes with disdain for the child. Yet that wouldn't phase Akemi; she went right on into one of her lectures. "Well I'll start with this: Shunshin is a technique that involves high speed movement, near instantaneous, actually," she began. "If you can master this, Zammy, you'll be near unstoppable!"
"Do not encourage egos, Akemi," Zamarron scolded, however still proud to recieve the compliment. So what if she was a hypocrite? She wanted to give the girl a hard time. "Okay, watch me!" Akemi yelled with determination.
In the blink of an eye she was gone, and promptly after her dissapearance Zamarron felt a tap on the back of her shoulder. She whirled around. "How did you do that?!" she demanded, eyes blazing with golden fire.
Akemi giggled. "Easy, silly. I've mastered shunshin. Why don't you try?"
Zamarron took a few steps backward, then, examining her target with envious eyes.
... you back...
