[/center]I swallowed all your lies,
and now I'll vomit up the truth.
Until all the stars go out,
I'll be in Love with you...
"I've never been so happy," he said, breathing a sigh of grattitude as she curled up beside him, laying her head delicately upon his chest. His arms were angled above him, his hands resting beneath his head. Her evil soul seemed to be eroded with happiness; for now anyway. She knew that it wasn't going to last another day. She had to end it.
"Yes you have," she insisted, feeling the black take hold of her heart. She didn't deserve this. She didn't deserve his perfect, pure soul... she had to get away from it, she had to escape. "I know you have."
He looked at her then, but she averted her gaze. "What did you say?"
"You wanna know something? I never thought we were meant to be. I never thought you were the one. Everything I ever said to you was a lie."
He blinked. Once. Twice. Thrice, now. "Wha-?"
She cut him off.
"I'm done with you. For good."
Then she got up to leave him there alone with his broken soul.
Vindictive. Malicious. Cruel. Deceitful.
These were all flattering titles for the woman. Yet she had one weakness- a love for music.
The room was lit by a plethora of massive crystal chandeliers dotting the dark wooden ceiling, surrounding a mother chandelier that hung in the very center. A variety of diamond statues were scattered around the edges of the spacious room, their faces glittering with sorrow. They were all depictions of angels- Michael, Gabriel, to even Christ Himself. Pews were alligned in an orderly fashion within the center of the room, all facing front. A long, black rug was set in the middle isle of the seats, it's length going all the way from the gargantuan double oak doors to the stage elevated up front.
Black gothic candles were burning brightly atop crystal stands, their forms distributed equally atop the stage. Leading directly from up the steps sat a grand piano of ebony. It radiated power, and utmost dominance. At its seat, sat our heroine, her long, manicured fingers dancing their exotic dance within the
that shined down through the open windows, its silver essence delivering a tragic catharsis.
Oh, God... she thought, closing her eyes and swaying her body to the rythm of her expert playing. Her torso trembled with emotioin, and tears began to cascade down her flawless countenance, tainting her beauty with a levity so harsh and cruel that she began to weep all the more. Her black heart had caused her to leave him... to leave behind her first true love. She had never been able to forgive herself, would never leave behind the guilt that plagued her soul to this very night. Perhaps that was why she was so dangerously volatile, no? She didn't care- her music would say everything she needed to say tonight.
It's so cold...
