Dusty winds continued to kick up as they often did in the country of wind. It was bad enough that the gusts were shooting hard enough to blow up her shorts, tickling her thighs and shooting sand in places she preferred not to fathom. Dark and gorgeous hues gazed through dirty goggles that had been pelted with sand for the last couple of hours. The legend said it would be somewhere here. However the last bits and pieces of information she gathered would only take her to travel to a place null of life. Only filled with sand and more sand.
The desert looked like it would stretch on forever. Her arrival in Kaze no Kuni was an easy one. That much she was fortunate for. However she found herself lost in a void once she actually arrived. Her feet shuffled through bits and pieces of sand, carrying her body limply through the scenery. The sun was high within the sky, and filled the scene with beautiful colors of gold and blue. The constant breeze touched her skin and would have been refreshing to feel through her fishnets, if only sand neglected to be a companion to the unnatural phenomenon.
"It's so hooooooooot." Her frail, girly voice whined to invisible ears as she paused for a swift second to wipe sweat from her forehead. The new land was nothing like Otogakure. Nor was it similar to Tea Country in any way. It almost made her regret going on this adventure in the first place. However the story was simply too much of a tease to pass up without, at least, investigating. What better way to use her new found freedom she thought prior to actually engaging in the adventure.
Haruko's wind powers were the greatest among all Oto shinobi. While most of them specialized in taijutsu, weaponry, and occasionally the fine tuned Oto jutsu, she found her place in the Fuuton release. Rather adept at it and it's practice, she knew from the start that she was different from the others. At a young age, her peers knew the fact to be true as well.
She inhaled deeply before venturing forth once more, searching for her legendary weapon. Her task for true freedom required some degree of power. Power which she lacked.
