Arced feet depressed themselves against the soft burnt bark, the large tree once a mighty oak now remained as nothing more than a scar in the landscape. The roots still firm in the ground sucking up what nutrients they could. It was almost as though the tree refused to give in. Given the battle that passed moments before however and the damage it received from just being in the field spoke clearly of how grand a battle it had been. The black cloaked figure with the crisp white mask crouched high. In his right claw covered hand gently sway a kumogakure shinobi headband, blood trailing down the black material, falling to the bark below. And so the world has shown its true colors, quite a nice show I have to say
The thoughts lingered through his once absent mind, now a bliss of activity from the world's reactions. War was such a deceptive thing and Vince thrived off of it, the many possibilities that presented themselves in combat. It was something he was born for, and rather than panic or fear, he felt pleasure and a sense of fulfillment, like a true purpose were finally being completed leaving him whole. In his hand did he grasp one of the many keys to his long time success that would soon follow.
He himself was not of the land, not originally, but soon he would be. The confusion and chaos that war threw amongst its many inhabitants often lead to situations unknown. Vince would take advantage of this to put his true plan into motion and attain a position in one of the major villages. He himself previously resided in the country of grass. The fields and forests basking in the glorious sunlight from horizon to horizon. A home he truly felt comfortable and at home in. But now he would migrate to a larger village, the population and attitude completely different to his own. Unbeknownst to the many kumo-shinobi he would encounter and falsely befriend. He was still loyal to Grass and its leaders, under their direction did he travel out and seek to spread his poisonous roots into an emotionally deadened village for future use. He was apart of Grasses notorious special forces AnBu, but that title was not recognized in any location other than his village. Soon though, soon, he would prove the depth and severity that a single kusa-shinobi could strike with.
Below the darkened bark that the Chuunin perched on lay several bodies. Their allegiances now removed from their persons and the bodies lined for proper burial. Despite being cruel, unkind, deceptive and a total lie, he still held honor for those he fought. Holding his own morale's higher than any task set upon him. However time was short and so he would leave the bodies in good condition and ready-state to be buried upon discovery. He carefully replaced his Kusagakure band with that of the Kumogakure band around his waist, the silver buckle showing his new allegiance to the shinobi of Kumogakure.
