With nimble steps the Hyuuga would make his way to the shopping plaza, it was the reason he even took the trip to the capital. Every one that took part in the war received big bonuses if they came back alive. So that's why he came to the capital to spend some money and get some new things. 'So what's first, don't you think we should be getting more ninja tools shou's.' Metsu voice would ring through the Hyuuga's head as he made his way over to the fine jewelry stand. "Yeah we should but I think I want to reward us for the hard work we put in during the war." The Hyuuga would say as he picked up a sapphire encrusted tiger pendent. 'Yeah, I guess I can agree with that. Don't go all spend money on everything but ninja tools though, alright dipship?' the voice would flutter through the Hyuugas head once more. "Yeah sure fine." The Hyuuga would say as he put the pendent down. "Oh my look at what's over there the brown haired one, oh she look gooooooddddddd." The Hyuuga would say with a playful tone in his voice. The Hyuuga would quickly make his way through the crowd trying to make his way to the girl, Once he finally arrived in a couple feet away from her he would begin to speak "Ay you, girl with brown hair wait up!" The Hyuuga would say he stared at the girl that he was chasing after. [/style]

It was a bit ironic, the whole thing. Now with the people in power rather than the elder ninja, everything became far less chaotic, and far more peace-centric. With the war and revolutions over, the new leaders of the village wanted to establish as much trust with as many people as possible, and this meant getting rid of old grudges and baggage. Kiri, of all villages, had the most to make. Despite still being the most powerful, and essentially the only village still in tact after the war, the new leaders felt the need to send out what were essentially peace keepers and assistants for the rebirth of the villages crushed during the war.

Kirino was a perfect candidate.

Having little participation in the actual events of the war, no one would recognize her. She also had something of a charming quality. That, and most importantly she wasn't all that useful around Kiri. Her standard day consisted of patrols more than anything else, as she proved fairly useless as a teacher, or leader of any sorts. So here she was, essentially resting up before heading for the great village ahead of her. There, she was instructed to help in the actual construction of the village, as well as the protection of it's inhabitants. Though it had brought itself back fairly quickly during the war, the destruction of the gate among other factors brought in a assorted group of awful things, from bandits to scammers and so on.

For the time being, she was buying materials for the trip to the village in the market district of the nearby city. Heavy clothing and such to protect from sandstorms were a priority, or so she was told. Her current get up was something that had become something of a standby for her, a thick white tank top matched with blue athletic shorts. It worked well considering the heat, at least. She was still wearing her headband around her arm, which wasn't the best idea considering her current location, but she wasn't exactly allowed to remove it.

A voice called out in the market as she left the stall, now with some heavy clothing hanging over her shoulder. A girl with brown hair? Well, most people in the market did have their hair covered in some way or another, leading her to assume the call was towards her. She turned, seeing a young man approaching her. Giving a quick once over, she cocked her head to the side?

"Yes, can I help you?"

Her Kiri headband flashed in the sun from it's place on her arm.

She was from the mist, which didn't bother him much. The mist was the only village that had no reason to hate the Hyuuga's hometown of Sunagakure. As he looked over the girl once more, he would notice her lack of clothing and her big brown eyes. It was a site for him to be seeing, he didn't mind tracking down the attractive woman that made there way through the country of Kaze no Kuni. Once the woman spoke the Suna Shinobi simply slid up a little closer to her so he could be next to her. "Yeah you can help me out a lot, I got a nice little bit of time blow, would you like to join?" the Hyuuga would say with a smirk on his face as the breeze in the air picked up all around the two of them. "I'll even treat you to lunch and dinner, lady mist." Shou would say as he towered over the much smaller girl. 'Wow, you're such a loser I swear. If it wasn't for our looks people especially females would not fuck with you.' a voice ring through out the Hyuuga's head as he dusted his clothing off just a little and looked into the girls eyes. Well the man certainly was assertive. Kirino could only wonder if how close he was to her was some sort of cultural thing, thus not making a big deal out of it. She didn't care much to begin with, though. She didn't pay much attention to the actual appearance of the man, rather just skimming for marks of identification. It wasn't long before she recognized him as being a native of the village she was headed towards. She didn't need directions, but perhaps he could be of some assistance as a resident of the area. It was better than nothing.

The man's initial wave of speech went over her head. Even his mention of food didn't particularly catch his attention. The guy was a bit close, he was massive, and he had just called her "Lady Mist." It was enough to put her off, having convinced herself she was well off on her own before she left home. Kirino then glanced down to her pocket, and then to the large robe over her arm. She had just essentially spent all of her money, now was not the best time to turn down free food. Somewhat upset with her lack of "control" in the situation (though not showing it), she gave a gentle sigh, then smiling.

"Lunch would be nice. Thank you for asking, sir!"

Despite giving off a somewhat creepy vibe, the guy seemed nice enough. He was offering lunch for seemingly no reason (Kirino naturally being oblivious of the reason that would be obvious to most), so at least there was that. The least she could do in return was smile and address him in a formal manner, even if he did actually seem roughly the same age as herself. If he was on her side perhaps his knowledge of the area could be useful, as well as his size when fending off pickpockets. Lady Mist did have a nice ring to it when she thought about it...

The Hyuuga would say with a smile on his face, from what he could tell the girl was responding ok to his approach. It had been a while since he aggressively approached a girl, it was usually the other way around for him. With smooth moves Shou would adjust him self so that he was at least a meter away from the much smaller girl, he didn't want to intimidate her in any type of way. Now with the new found space between the duo the Hyuuga would point to one of his favorite food spots, "We shall go there, the entire meal is on me Lady mist." The Hyuuga would say as he lead the way towards the Ramen shop. 'Oh look at you, I can't believe she is feeding into this whole smooth guy routine, she must be slow or something.' Metsu's voice would ring through out the Hyuuga's head. "Shhhhhh, You know I got game." The Hyuuga would slightly muttered as he took a few steps leading the way to the shop. "This is one of the best shops in the capital." Shou would say as he lead the way insider of the shop hoping that the girl would follow directly behind him. As soon as they entered the shop the Hyuuga would point out a seat for the girl to take, and then grabbed the one right next to it. "So, what’s your name?" The Hyuuga would say as he took his seat at the bar. It was time to find out a little more about the woman he was about to pursue, only thing the Hyuuga was positive that it was ok to talk to her because she was from one of the allying forces ninja. ‘Don’t get to comfy Shou, you never know now a day’s she looks sweet as ever, but she could be just trying to find out info about our home. The man took a step to the side, giving her some space and allowing a sigh of relief. His smoothness went relatively unnoticed, suffice to say. At the time, Kirino was taking in the sights the best she could, trying to observe as much as she could while she had the chance. She had to be in the actual village just the next day, so she didn't exactly have all of the time in the world. The sights were nice as well. In a village layered in mist there wasn't much room for sand based structures. The landscaping was magnificent, such that she had never seen before, and she was in complete awe. The man spoke once more as they started moving, but Kirino did not catch that either, her eyes darting around in wonder.

Eventually she found herself and the man inside of a restaurant, equally awe inspiring in its architecture. When he said it was one of the best shops around, he wasn't lying, even if "shop" wasn't quite the right word to describe the place. He lead her to a seat, Kirino at this point having been following the Hyuuga from her periphery. It was a miracle that she hadn't gotten lost already, honestly. The man pulled up beside her immediately, temporarily taking Kirino out of her trance, eyes widening, head jerking back slightly.

"Oh, yeah..."

She paused for a moment, almost as if she hadn't heard the question.

"Oh! Kirino, Goto. Pleased to meet you, sir."

She extended her hand towards him for a handshake, giving a smile as well. It was her standard greeting. Some found it a bit odd, too formal, but she never noticed. It was just the way she had seen some of the higher ranking nin of her own village act and was now instinct for her. Returning her hand after the (assumed) handshake, she'd look upwards for a moment in thought, and then continue.

"I'm from Mist- Actually on, like, a... A peace keeping mission, going to Sand. Gonna help out with some of the reconstruction and stuff."

She took a moment to gesture at his own headband.

"You're from Sand yourself, right?"

Kirino inquired with her usual enthusiasm, still smiling.

Shou listen to her in and out, he only heard the important shit like where she was from, he really didn't care for her mission or what ever the heck she was here for. The Hyuuga would nod his head up and down until the girl finally finished speaking. "Yeah, Uh huh I'm from the sand born and raised there." Shou would say with a little base in his voice. Turning away from the girl the Hyuuga would look to the nearest cook to order a bowl of shrimp ramen. 'Yeah, that food sounds great. By the way I'll keep track of what ever the fuck this girl tell's you cause I can obviously see you're not listening to much of anything you dick.' A voice would shout inside of Shoumetsu head as he turned back to look at Goto. "So, how is your visit to my country going are you enjoying it?" The Hyuuga would say as he looked at her directly in her face. 'You know you're prob starting to come off as creepy right?' A voice would float through Shou's head as he tried to fix his face and body gestures to be normal. "Order what ever you like, I don't care what you get you know?" Shou would say with a big smile on his face. [/style]

So he was from sand. Of course, he could just be lying, but Kirino wasn't one to assume such things, even if the guy was a tad creepy. He ordered just after that, leaving Kirino to watch. She was a bit surprised he didn't react at all to what she had stated. She was going to be one of the first ninja ever to be invited to someone else's village in the manner she was, which was only happening because of the new village leaders. She'd been told countless times it was a momentous occasion. Perhaps her advisers had just been lying to her, or were making far too big a deal out of it. He asked a question as she came back to attention.

"Oh, it's amazing! This city, the land is so beautiful. I mean, the wind and sand can be annoying sometimes, but it's not that bad. Looking forward to traveling to see the village tomorrow too."

She gave a nod in completing her statement. The man's gaze was heavy, but it was as if it passed right through her, Kirino not even acknowledging how odd or frightening it would be to anyone else. Staring wasn't really weird to her, she just assumed it was a part of the culture or something. It wasn't that odd in the scheme of things, at least. Oh, she still needed to order.

"Could I have a steak please? Thanks!"

She called out, waving to a nearby waiter.

He would say with a concerned voice as he watched the Chief cook on the open grill, It always made Shou extra hungry when he seen his food getting cooked. But anyway Shou attention was no split between the girl to the left of him and the food being prepared. The food it's self left the boy in a trans, he couldn't really focus on any of thing other than how the food was being prepped. He would quickly snatch his eyes away from the cook, attempting to give the girl his undivided attention for the time being. "So, who is going to be taking you to MY village?" Shou would say with a sense of athority behind his voice as he spoke to the girl, he knew he had to get serious with her she was talking about actually making her way to the city of Sunagakure. "Shouldn't you guys already be at peace with us, we were ally's during that crazy war that we just had don't ya know." The Hyuuga would go on to say as the man placed the bowl off food in front of him. "Thank you, sir." The Hyuuga would say as the plate was slapped down in front of him. It would take little to no time before Shou would find him self face first in the meal that was prepared for him. 'Don't eat like a pig my dude, it's not a good look in front of the girl.' A voice would ring though out the Hyuuga's head as he destroyed his bowl of ramen. "Well, I don't eat for good looks my dude." The Hyuuga would say as he signaled the waiter for another bowl of food. "This time, can I have what she is having? make sure you bring the right sauce." The Hyuuga would say as he sent the waiter off to do his job. [/style]

"Yes, I already said..."

She didn't bother continuing for the time being, as he was actually looking somewhere else while asking the question. She followed the man's gaze, sighting the open grill. He must've been really hungry. It didn't bother her regardless. She just patiently clasped her hands together and waited for a moment, smiling. Eventually he looked back though, asking her a first question. His tone was a bit harsh, causing Kirino to cringe slightly. Was he upset? It was a bit confusing, but she didn't let it get to her, resisting any temptation to become defensive.

"I have a guidebook..."

He continued.

"I- Yes, we were allies, but with the new leaders of our villages... They are taking extra precautions to make sure there is never another war of a big size like the last."

Then the man began eating furiously. Kirino could help but laugh a big, bringing up a hand to cover her mouth as she did so. He was so serious a moment ago, but looked so funny while eating. Her food came as he was eating, Kirino shaking her head to herself before she took up a knife, beginning to slice the slab of meat before her. As she placed the first piece in her mouth, the man appeared to speak to himself.

"What was that..?"

He went on to order some more food, leaving Kirino blinking, confused.

As the girl answered the hyuuga question's he would contine to wait for his food. yeah Shou, I think she was giving orders from the higher ups in her nation. But why we were not informed that people would be running around our village. a voice would echo through his head as the waiter made her way back to there table. "well isn't this new for me, I'm usually deck.d to find out about thing that goes on I'm next in line for the mage seat ya know?" The hyuuga would say with a playful tone the hyuuga would start cutting up his food in small bite size pieces. "well since you're coming to mg village you should stay with me while you are in town. It's way cheaper than any of these hotels around here." He would say as he dipped his piece of food in the sauce.

smooth.... a voice would echo through the hyuuga's head as he ate his steak. He would let a little time past as they both ate there food before beginning to speak about his offer again. "you can trust me." He would say with a slight laugh following taut statement, "I hope this isn't direct for you." Be would say as he.munched on his food for the time being.

He was next in line for the Kage seat? Well, that was quite a feat, considering his age at least. Then again, he could be lying to her, or himself. It didn't matter much though either way. His assumption that the Kage had anything to do with what went on in the village was for the most part false anyway. Now with only control of the protection of the village, combined with the fact there was a treaty between all of the large villages, Kages and their forces held little sway when it came to political matters or anything of the sort. She'd inform him.

"Well, normally, sir... Now with the Daimyo in charge- things have changed."

She said this with a slight uncertainty, aware that such a fact might upset someone that was supposedly next to be Kage. The least Kirino could do was try to explain herself the best she possibly could without insulting the man's future position. He made a suggestion after that, that she could stay with him. This was confusing, if not fear inducing, as she would state.

"Hotels..? I thought there was going to be a room provided for me.. I- I didn't bring any money for a hotel.."

Her voice quaked slightly. It was almost as if she didn't hear his actual offer, but only the implication that she was not getting a free room. She really had spent the majority of her money just moments earlier. Her eyes lowered, worry and anxiety coming over her. The man continued speaking as Kirino took a deep breath or two, a frown coming over her visage. She spoke after he had finished, a moment or two later.

"What?"

Shou would listen to everything the girl had to say, even the stuff about that new system they are trying to implement. The Hyuuga couldn't hope to fill a little responsible for what was happening in the ninja world, all this change wouldn't be happening if that wouldn't have started. "Yeah things are changing a lot but of course we ill stil have our respected seated kage." He would say as he slowy ate the rest of his steak while he continued to listening to the girl go on about where she was going to be staying while she was visiting the village.

As the Hyuuga took the last bite of his steak, he would turn his face towards the brown eyed woma. "Youknow you might be right about them providing something for you, because my village wouldn't invite someone in andtreat them wrong." He would say as he let a look of confort showon his face before he began o speak, "But, if you stay with me you will get treated like you're a part of the village of sunagakure, lady mist." The hyuuga would say as he tried to make staying with him the best option.

She gave a nervous laugh as he mentioned his upcoming seating as Kage. Maybe he was just joking. She couldn't tell, but something about it felt off to her. Then again, there was always a chance it was possible. He looked fit enough, at least, from what she could tell. Of course, most Kages she knew were old and shriveled, so that didn't actually mean anything.

Kirino was able to breathe a sigh of relief as he corrected himself, though he went on to mention something else. It confused her.

"Are you saying if I don't stay with you, I won't be treated normally?"

It was a scary prospect. Though fascinating, the area around her did give "bad vibes" of sorts, putting her slightly on edge when she was able to do so.

"I wouldn't want that..."

She trailed off, her mood changing slightly once more.

The Hyuuga would say as he eased a little closer to the girl. 'Yeah, I think this should be fun shou.' a voice in the Hyuuga head was say as he stared into the brown eyes. "I'm just trying to look out for you, Don't I seem like the type that can be trusted?" Shou would say as he continued to gaze into the girls eyes. The Hyuuga had a strong feeling that his plan to get this girl to stay with him during her stay was going to work. He couldn't help but smile a little on the inside, while the shop got a little more busy. "I think we should get out of here, move on to the next spot you need anything else?" [/style]
