The stars had shone bright above the country side of Kaze no Kuni, sparkling brilliantly from the heavens above. The night was beautiful, and the weather was good, warm with nice, cool, gentle breezes that would sweep across the land every now and then. The nighttime sky had reflected the life of one person particularly tonight, and it was of a young male shinobi. Though a shinobi, he wasn't dressed like one at all, for it was his day off, donning casual civilian clothes.
Wearing robes, though he left the head exposed, for those who would see him could recognize who he was. He had walked through the village streets slowly, and subtly, he wanted to take in everything that he was feeling tonight, as the starlight danced upon him. He couldn't help but think about what really mattered to him. Was it the shinobi way? Was it loyalty? Was it money? None of those things and many more had been the things that really mattered to him. It was safe to say that he really didn't care about much, but it was his moral code that stopped him from being ruthless, and possibly a Nuke-Nin.
His moral code had kept him to his bonds with people, and though he didn't particularly want to break his bonds with people, he found them sometimes to be a nuisance to him. He wanted something badly; he just didn't know what it was that he had wanted. His ebony hair was carried by the gentle breezes of the wind, making it appear as if a black stream was flowing behind his head. As he approached the center of the village, his eyes had slowly scrolled up the sky and set upon the huge moon just above him. It reflected within his eyes, as he began to speak out loud.("What is it that really matters to me in this world? What do I really want?")
He questioned himself as his hands had rose from beneath his robes, stretched out with his palms facing the sky, and his fingers curled up, as if he was trying to grasp upon something. His forearms began to elevate, as he brought his gaze down toward his eyes as he looked at them, with his gentle gaze. He wanted something or someone to tell him what he really wanted, or at least receive a sign to something that really meant the most to him. Thousands of thoughts had rushed through his head, and he searched them all, trying to see if anything that was coming to him was what he wanted.
