It was to be a day of manual labor, humdrum and boring in its entirety but one that was necessary regardless of how much he despised or would come to despise it. But it was not out of the kindness of his heart unfortunately, it was from the need of his wallet to be filled, being able to help the public was just icing on the cake or rather a bi product of what he was doing, which he didn’t mind. It was a good thing for him to take a break from all the missions involving combat that he had been doing. After all he had been running himself rather ragged with them, so it would a good rest for his mind and body to simply wander sunagakure a few districts for now and just make everything look a little less run down from the damages of various conflicts.
He had brought a pair of easy slip on slip off gloves with him today since he didn’t really need to use jyuuken to pick up paper and glass, in fact thrusting his palm against glass was advisably a bad idea. He would want to protect his hands if he wanted to remain a useful ninja, any damage to his hands meant damage to his punches, his jyuuken palm thrusts, and his seal making all three of the uses arguably equally important. He carried a trash can esque container on his back by the means of two straps. Absently picking up small scraps as he walked down the fields of a rather shambled district. One glass shard their a crumpled old newspaper here. He considered how long he would stay out here and then realized that it really wouldn’t matter on a basis of time how long he spent picking up trash but really just when he was able to fill his can, he believed that a full can of trash when the grounds were already preliminarily swept long ago by caring villagers would suffice for the mission. Another wad of paper, colorful and slightly thick made its way into the can.
He waved his hand to a villager, he didn’t know him but he was smiling back at him a bit older in age than what he was used to in his line of work, usually the eldest of what he saw were jounin so seeing a middle aged man was a bit of a surprise. He felt as if he had smiled at him was because he was simply providing for the community in the most obvious of ways. So the job did seem to have a few underlying perks in its completion, or even just in its attempting.
