It wasn't exactly a matter of whether she was enjoying the scenery or not-
It was just so uncomfortable to sleep in! She had in the past slept without tents due to he weather being quite nice and the enviroment being equally appleasing but this land- It was simply rock, it was hard to sleep on, and it wasn't very pleasant at all. Due to such sad drawbacks to exploring the land and she not being able to find any kind of inn she could stay at, having moved far away from the last one she had been near, her mood had taken a turn for the worst, and basically, the bitch was back.

Her right arm almost vainly tussling the back of her hair to give it a bit more volume, the ample-chested Kunoichi would find herself walking along the uneven tracks of Tsuchi no Kuni once more, as she had been doing the past few days. Her adventures had brought her to nowhere really interesting- If she had enough money she would have bought a world map to try and track down the elusive Iwagakure, but neither did she have the funds, or the map itself. As far as she knew, she could be bordering with another country wherever she was now. But, freankly she had no clue, and neither did she care- With her home gone, travelling and exploring was the most that she could do at the moment. Until she had some kind of duty to do, her feet were made to tread upon the land, the sharp heels of her shoes spearing in to the very earth, killing whatever little bugs that might have had the unfortunate coincidence of being under her foot at the current time. She didn't care about bugs, no. Neither did she about the rocks- She wanted to go elsewhere to another land- She was a bit hungry, and she missed the comforts that her ryo could get her- shelter, a warm dish of food and a comfortable sleep. What had she done to deserve this.. this lack of basic things? Oh- Right. She had done many a thing in her past- Kicked many a guy in their most prized area, slurred her drunken, viper-like words to the innocent and even punched a nun at one point.

"Fucking rocks all over the fucking road I bet they wouldn't be so fucking happy if they knew who I was. Tsuchi no kuni? Hmph."

She'd curse these in not exactly the shyest of tones- Her voice was proud, and yet extremely vulgar. However, she carried the swears and insults with a touch of strange grace that caused some to ponder whether she had been the one uttering those hellish words. The land itself was pissing her off, and she made it quite clear. Not that the rocks could respond, but she did a pretty good job at making herself seem like a brute at points. Anger almost bled from her eyes, and her facial expression showed that of extreme distaste- Towards the area, towards the weather, towards anything she could

pick on.

”Damned mountains.” the grizzled man mumbled under his breath while pulling forth a box of matches from the left, trouser pocket. A wooden tobacco pipe rested against his lip supported by a hand; the man had grown rather fond of the object despite the excessive harm it has caused to him. Breathing difficulties have become quite irritating, but the fine, seductive taste of tobacco has become so alluring that Okahiki finds it difficult to place the pipe down. With a flick of the wrist he struck the match against the side of the box, setting it aflame. Turning it towards him he held the flame against the peach flavored tobacco, warming it for several seconds before throwing the match into the distance.

The brown, quite large coat covering his upper body tainted by dust and grime from the aimless travel through Tsuchi no Kuni. The trousers, matching in color, were of no better shape, creating the image of a vagabond rather than a traveler. Okahiki appeared wretched to the common eye, lacking even the slightest of appealing features. Thick growth of roughly a shaven beard covered the lower half of his face, lacking in symmetry, for the hairs were lengthier on the left side. The diminutive nose, terribly small, seemed to have been broken as the slight budge may reveal. Two hazel eyes, while fitting into the already miserable symmetry of his face, sat above heavy bags of exhaustion. Okahiki’s round cheeks were a feature befitting of a corpulent man, but he was quite slender, an aspect of face starkly contrasting the angular chin.

Okahiki, without home and goal, had little aim in this travel, and to worsen the already damned situation, the man was unsure of where he was, aside from within the borders of Tsuchi no Kuni. The monotony of the mountains, at least to his eye, spanned far, and navigation had grown increasingly difficult for the Shikigami. In two days past, Okahiki slept on the rough, rock grounds, and waking with an aching body had worsened his already bitter mood. With a deep inhalation, he drew in smoke from the pipe before releasing a heavy cloud into the air. The process of release took several seconds as he used every moment to savor the grandiose taste – at least these lands have become a tad bit more bearable due to the tobacco. But the thought of sleeping on the grounds infuriated him beyond imagination, and it took nigh excessive reservation to not fling the pipe onto the ground in a fit of fury.

Lost in thoughts, he had not noticed a lass standing in the distance, drawing in her rather pleasant features upon glancing upwards and noticing her. Blond, curved, but he could not yet come to judge her face. Blowing yet another cloud of smoke into the air the seemingly vagabond traveler pulled the pipe from his mouth and roared out, speaking in an excessive loud, rough tone. His manner of speaking was rather crude and downright distasteful.

”Wench, don’t know where in the hells I am. Lead me out of this dammed terrain.

It had soon come for her to notice that she had not been alone on this mountain, as the smell of filthy, rotten tobacco soon filled her nose. Well whoop-de-fucking-do not only was she set to walk the mountain for the rest of eternity (This, of course, was simply her over exaggerating but then again whoever else was roaming the mountains who didn’t have some downright crazy fetish for mountaineering probably knew how she felt) but she was also set to walk it with the stench of tobacco and the constant risk of disease following her around. Turning around sharply at whomever it was her eyes would soon to gaze with a man, his appearance somewhat unloved by a clean razor. His face bore the beard of a near homeless man, and his face in general, it was quite different to the usually baby-faced shinobi who she had seen in other lands. It was a change, she would give him that, but she was neither in the mood for speaking, or to inhale that bloody poison that she hated so much. Of course, being a medical nin she knew well of the dangers of smoking, and wouldn’t be caught dead doing so. It was downwright disgusting.

Not that her day was getting any better with the appearance of this man, but one single word in what he had said, one single word had seemed to put her off the edge as her baby blue eyes blazed with so much hate, hey might as well be red- ”DON’T. CALL. ME. A. FUCKING. WENCH.” she’d tell him, her tone blazing the fury of a thousand dragons, all locked in to the body of an angelic, almost jaw-dropping beauty. She had no resentment for this fiery temper of hers- These past few days had been hard on her, and she had missed her home more than ever, although she hated to admit it. ”I neither know where am I, nor where I’m going. So, with my humblest apologies sir, but I cannot aid you in that. This land better fucking stop playing silly buggers.. I need to sleep.” well this was strange- Moments ago her tone had been firm and harsh like the very rocks that this mountain had been made out of- But the sentence she had told him was of still an angry tone, but was of less bitterness than the former. And yet- This was Blanche. She didn’t care what people called her- She had been through enough over her entire 22 years of her being. Bitch, whore, prostitute, demon, baby, she had been called it all- Wench, however, was a new one. It had humoured her, but she didn’t show it- The man was probably a pretty great guy when you got to know him, but right now, she had no patience. Not for him. Not for Tsuchi, not for anyone.

Okahiki walked close, without a word, right hand supporting the pipe as his gaze met hers. His step was slow and deliberate as he reached into his pouch with the other hand, pulling forth the box of matches again. In his step, he pulled forth a second match after releasing his grip on the pipe, striking the side, and holding the flame against the tobacco for a moment while inhaling deeply. Once the task had been completed, he flicked the match towards the woman with little force. Rather than flying directly at her the match landed before her feet. With a tilt of his head Okahiki continued to approach her, releasing the smoke provocatively towards her face. The man seemed rather crude in his mannerisms. Whether it was through sheer antagonism or simple spite was difficult to tell as his features remained stale. Upon standing only five meters away from her he exhaled the smoke yet again, aimed towards her face.

”Ill tempered rapscallion ye be. Reminds me of that assistant I had. Damned angry woman. Lashing out, and she was a sore to the eye. Heavy, round, and ragged.”

It seemed that the two of them had become lost in these lands. Okahiki was quite unsure what had brought him here – whether it was an overwhelming incompetence in navigating or absent-mindedness. Trotting without aim had its drawbacks when the monotony of the lands tired the mind. Regardless, the woman , her brashness, had amused him as revealed by a quickly fading grin. The shikigami preferred to refer to himself as a detective, or an investigator, yet in a hilarious twist of fate he could not even find a village, a place to rest when investigation and searches were his duty. In the recent years he had come across a wide variety of men and women, but one so quick to shift in moods - that was the first.

”Rapscallion, help me look for some place to rest. Had enough of sleeping on these damned grounds.” Okahiki was rather fond of uttering the word “damned” as shown by his repeated use. ”Lass like you is going to get robbed in these lands. Bandits are a wicked folk.” Through sheer desperation Okahiki required some companionship, another set of eyes. Navigating these lands had grown frustrating; weariness grew by the moment.

The man’s rudeness was highlighted even more as he’d seem to light up the pipe he was carrying that had been emitting the disgusting scent of tobacco. Not only had he lit up another round, but he had also thrown the match directly in front of her feet, to which she, almost by impulse, stamp down firmly on it so that it embedded its shape within the very earth of Tsuchi no Kuni. It had gone out by now, but it nonetheless was simply a way of her to control her need to punch a wall. The feeling, however, still remained strong. Despite the fact that she was furious at the moment, she did her best not to do anything that she might regrets towards the male- Although what he did next, almost made him lose a few brain cells. Literally, as her right hand would, as if by instinct, suddenly glow with deadly intent for a few moments before then flickering off again, her rage controlled- For now. Dead hands had almost been used, and there was no guessing in who it had been aimed at. But- the woman, with her eyes closed for a moment, would regress the need to hurt, and would instead, give an angry glare at the man- With what he would say next, his ability to piss off just didn’t stop, didn’t it. With her tone slowly growing louder with each word uttered, she would be quite quick to display her distaste for what he had just said.

”ROUND? I am NOT ROUND. OR HEAVY. FUCK YOU, OLD MAN!”

With her right fist now pointing towards him in an aggressive manner, not hitting him but, as a warning she would speak those words with fury in her tongue. There had been times in her past when she had looked similar to the woman that she he had described, and she didn’t exactly wan't to remember such things. ”…” She was in a foreign land however, and on probably on top of some mountain, so she really, really did do her best to restrain herself. With her blue eyed gaze still locked on the disgusting man as he continued to speak, as he seemed to request her help after insulting her in such a manner. If it wasn’t that she too wanted to get off the mountain, she would have said no, and probably would have slung more curses at him. However, her intent to get off the mountain was the sole thing that led her to decide to help him find a place to stay, as she had grown weary, and her eyes showed it easily, despite being covered with lenses of pure hate at the current time.

”..I’ll give you the assistance you request.
Under the condition that you STOP. PISSING. ME. OFF.”

With the former part of the sentence having been said in quite a neutral tone, the last words she spoke had been firm and anger, displaying clearly how easy it was to change her attitude.

As he then spoke of bandits and the threat that they posed to women, she would shake her heads- If bandits saw her, they would run. Or, if they listened to her. This man seemed if but a little entertained or unaffected by her shouting and cursing, but in the past, she had made a few people cry solely from her attitude. ”Bandits can get the fuck off, I’ll kick their asses before they even know what hit them.” an angry tone. ”...But thank you for your concern.” she would tell him in a slightly happier tone. Or, not happy, but less irritated. It was with this that she would await his response, seeing if he would accept to her condition- Of course she didn’t expect him to follow it through since he seemed like that kind of person, but finding shelter was always a good thing. Shaking her head so that her beatific blonde hair would wave around in an almost beautiful manner, she'd wait, her arms now firmly crossed.

Thoughts ran through Okahiki’s mind – strangely he had a compulsion to erupt in a monologue but that would have affected this encounter rather negatively. He had a fancy for lengthy monologues, but this was not the time.

Light blond, short and light. Woman before me was pretty, but angry, so damned angry. Can’t be a femme fatale at least, bit too feisty for that, doubt she’s seductive when seeing her yell like that. Need to be careful around her. I’ve a bad feeling about that lass, think she’s up to something, or has done something shady. “

Okahiki’s suspiciousness derived from misanthropy that had grown over the years. Dealing with shady curmudgeons, murders, and damned criminals, while not distorting his view entirely, replaced trust with an everlasting skepticism. At heart, the man was a seeker of truths, yet his perception often lead to bias – something present in the encounter today also. While the woman was pleasant to the eye, he feared that in a fit of anger she had committed murder; a hunch, a mere hunch had grown in Okahiki’s gut and it was now his task to determine whether it held and validity, likely not, but it mattered not, for he required some entertainment, a grandiose mystery. None others laid themselves out in these lands, but here an opportunity arose for investigation. His lips formed into a thin smile as he released another cloud of thick smoke, the scent of the tobacco rising in the air. It was released towards the left rather than directly at the woman. Best to take more care, else a rather grim fate will meet the man should his hunch be correct.

”I’ll be a bit more reserved, lass.” he uttered with his gaze carefully resting on Blanche. The skepticism had devolved into downright suspicion – amusingly, the cause for that suspicion was rather foolish, for anger is a wretched judge when there is not even the slightest evidence, but it mattered not to Okahiki. With the growing monotony, the search for a truth –if there is one- should entertain him somewhat.

It had been silent for a little while- But she didn't care all that much since she wasn't exactly in the place for speaking rationally at the moment. Or, she could as she had a few moments ago, but she would have to step out of her current cloud of rage in order to say such things. Looking at him once more as he'd release a cloud of smoke, she still not exactly happy with the fact that he was smoking around her, but directing it away from her at least a little sign of respect- Or fear. Whichever one it was she didn't care, as the two of them gave her a little bit of a confidence boost. "Eugh.." she'd mutter in the most silent of tones, although it could be heard by him- It simply showed her disgust towards smoking and how she appaled it in any possible form it had. "..You do know, don't you? Smoking is an incredibly dangerous hobby." just in case he didn't know, right? Having said that it was easy to say that she had calmed down within moments, one of her constant mood swings.

”I’ll be a bit more reserved, lass.”

Coughing a single time she'd keep her arms crossed, her once gentle eyes bearing a look of annoyance, although that was the usual look that she had on her face at most times. "Now- We need to find a place to stay- I haven't seen an Inn for miles now, so we might have to make do with just a dry shelter.." of course, although she prefered the shelter of houses and buildings, when needed, she didn't mind doing so- She had done it a lot during the end of the war, and for some time thereafter when her house had been destroyed along with the rest of the village. But where would they go today? A cave? That was a bit risky, but, she wasn't sure exactly of how they could possibly get a good nights sleep on this terrain- At least in places she had gone the earth had been soft enough to sleep on nicely. She was just hoping that she'd find somewhere to go, else another bout of anger might arise. "..What's with the silence?" she'd ask after there had been a few minutes of walking, bathed in silence- It had been strange, seeing the man's innability to stop annoying her moments ago. Not that she missed it, of course.

But no matter- Whether she would get an answer or not she'd then keep walking, the man hopefully nearby if he wanted to find a shelter of sorts. Her face, although looking pristine and beautiful, was tired, and her eyes although sometimes flaming with anger, bore a tired look. Her other body language however, suggested that she was alright, as she knew that she had to keep going until she found somewhere- She couldn't just park herself down wherever she was- There had to be special conditions if they were going to sleep on the ground itself- There had to be shelter, just in case of rain, enough materials to make a campfire.. and so on.

But finding an inn would be preferable.

Just as the two of them came over the peak of a small hill, what would appear to be an inn would make itself apparent in the distance. Her eyes lighting up to show that she liked the idea of there being shelter so close, she'd turn to the old man and would bow slightly, her head pointing towards him, and would blow a kiss in his direction before then speeidng off in to the distance- She hadn't caught his name. Oh well.
