The weather isn't terrible, but being so early in the morning the air is chilly. So far, the fallowing are present: Miyamoto, Miyumi. This thread is open to other users. [ENTER - GP1] It had taken Miyumi several days before she decided what she had to do. There were only so many options, and she knew that she needed to get stronger. Strong was something you only needed to accomplish as a woman, since apparently men were born strong. So Miyumi decided there were few things she could do to reach the mentality and physical descriptions as strong; she needed someone else to do it for her. Ok, not actually do it for her, but help her out -- teach her. And according to her "research" there were a few talented Shinobi from Kumogakure. More specifically, Ju Kenshin users. It seemed almost impossible to find anyone who was skilled in the bladed areas, and when she did, Miyumi was struck down as a little weak girl who couldn't handle the ways. It was stupid, every time she was shot down she didn't fight, she just whimpered and walked away from her chances, even though she knew she could do it. She was too sensitive that way, and couldn't stand up for herself. But this time she would do it, she had to; there were only a few ways for her to improve. Her parents of coarse were not aware of her reasons to go away to a different country; they almost didn’t let her go. But there were a lot of things her lovely older sister was good for, and one of them was definitely getting her – or Miyumi’s, way. Hikaru was awesome that way, she always seemed to know what Miyumi meant and what she wanted from her actions. The two of them were amazing together; it never crossed her mind why they hadn’t worked together. They would be amazing as partners, missions would be a breeze. Almost as if on cue, a thick breeze rolled by Miyumi and made her shiver. Since her sister convinced her parents to let Miyumi go, she was going to go. So now, she stood outside her house in the early morning. The air was crisp and rigidly cold, sending shivers through her body. “Are you sure you want to go out in the cold? You can always wait until later.” her mother’s soothing voice pulled on Miyumi to stay, but she knew she couldn’t. Kumo was a long ways away; she would have to pass through several small countries before traveling from the edge of The Land of Lightning the Kumo, where it lay towards the middle. She didn’t have time to waste. Shaking her head, Miyumi forced back tears. Her whole family was seeing her off, and the sun hadn’t even risen yet. Hikaru stood snuggled up next to her father, grasped the ends of her coat much like Miyumi. Miyumi was forced to pack light, but layers were always the key to surviving crazy weather. Right now she had a long, fur trench coat that seemed to suck in all the warmth from around her. It was wonderful. It was a light cream color and had brown fur trim along anything that could have trim. The buttons that kept it sealed shut were the same brown color, and Miyumi looked nothing like the ninja she was. She looked like a little girl. The thought was sickening, she was a girl, but not a little one. Too many times she had been mistaken as a young child and too many times had she let it get to her. The familiar touch of the cold, hard Claymore was still resting on her back and soothed her thoughts of being childish. She might look the part, but she was a long ways from a child. Breathing in one last, sickening breath, Miyumi forced a sweet smile up to her parents. “I’m going to have a long trip, I can’t waste any time.” And with that she edged closer to the three of them, leaning forward to quickly hug her sister, and going on her toes to kiss her parents’ cheeks. She would miss them so much, it was so hard to go, but there were things you had to do in your life, and this was definitely one of them. |
